AAnonymous UserFacilities: The facilities are relatively new. My only complaint is that the twin room's bathroom has a glass wall that can't be fully obscured.
Environment: Quite quiet.
Service: The front desk staff were very polite and their service was excellent!
The hotel's breakfast standard is also very high, with a wide variety of food! The hotel has an underground parking garage.

GGuest UserThis Sofitel truly offers amazing value for money. The floor-to-ceiling windows directly overlook Wanlu Park and the ocean, and waking up to that view in the morning instantly melts away all stress. Just a short walk around the corner brings you to Friendship Sunshine City, a popular local mall for shopping and dining. The hotel's sunset views are also absolutely breathtaking, truly stunning. I have to give a special shout-out to the front desk lady; she noticed I had a sore throat during check-in and without a word, she handed me extra bottles of water and kindly reminded me to drink warm water. Very thoughtful!

It's commendable that they can maintain Ascott's service standards in such a desolate environment.
Two things that left a deep impression:
1. The front desk proactively packed breakfast for me as I had an early departure the next day.
2. The spa staff were waiting for me an hour in advance.
One area for improvement:
1. Upon check-in, the front desk could proactively share information about the cultural center's activities with guests.
Xiao Liang and Xiao Su provided excellent service, making both check-in and check-out smooth.

HHuangchengmiaomiaoThis level of value and experience is truly rare. The decor is new but there's no unpleasant odor, and the rooms are spacious with a stylish, modern Southeast Asian design. The service is also very attentive and welcoming, including one airport pick-up or drop-off service in a comfortable minivan with massage seats. There's a restaurant on the 4th floor; I ordered a two-person meal, which was delicious and great value. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure in the city, or don't want to stay by the sea on a rainy day, this is definitely a great place to stay.

GGuest UserThe room was spacious and very clean, and the room service was excellent and thoughtful. My child absolutely loved playing in the water, and all the facilities were communal, which made for a great experience. The complimentary photoshoot was fantastic! The photographer knew all the best spots in the hotel and even fulfilled my child's wish to take photos at the golf driving range. My child wanted every single photo when we were selecting them!

Although it was spacious, there wasn't a single towel rack in the bathroom, so there was nowhere to hang clothes, which made showering very inconvenient. The hot water was either lukewarm or scalding hot.

AAotemanThis stay truly exceeded my expectations. Perched above the stunning Haikou skyline, the incredible cloud-level views captivated me instantly. My room offered a prime ocean view with an excellent high-altitude perspective overlooking the city center, providing panoramic vistas of Haikou Bay and Century Bridge. In the evening, I was treated to breathtaking sunsets – this is truly a place where the sunset glow paints your face. After dark, the city lights sparkled brilliantly, creating an unbeatable nightscape. The sea-view room was fantastic; I could lie in bed and gaze out at the ocean, enjoying the romantic seamless blend of sea and sky. The scenery outside the window was absolutely magnificent. If you're coming to Haikou, you absolutely must stay here!

GGuest UserI was thoroughly impressed by the service at this hotel! From helping with luggage to check-in, everyone greeted us with a smile. I was traveling with my child, and the front desk immediately provided a toiletries kit, which my child loved. Our butler, Nita, was incredibly helpful, answering all our questions and even assisting with booking a travel photoshoot. In the evening, she prepared a bedtime dessert for my child – the papaya and white fungus soup was delicious! Before we checked out, Nita also arranged a late check-out for us, telling us not to rush, which was incredibly thoughtful. I definitely have to commend the hotel's service! 👍🏻

DDianpingzhuanjiaaaaaFacilities: Great! A bit old, but for this price, what more could you ask for? The only issue was one bedside lamp was broken. The bedding was incredibly comfortable; after 4 days and 3 nights, my back felt perfectly fine. I didn't even get a chance to ask what brand it was.
Hygiene: Excellent, with a few minor imperfections.
Service: The customer service auntie was incredibly enthusiastic and flawless. I genuinely felt her professional attitude of ”serving you” came from the heart, and I'm very grateful! However, at check-in, she seemed a bit tired. Her demeanor was gentle, but she only briefly mentioned breakfast. I also noticed the complimentary Qilou photo shoot service wasn't explained or offered, and I was too lazy to ask and make a reservation. This could be improved...
Environment: Very close to the sea, but the weather wasn't great, so the sea view was quite ordinary. I absolutely loved the room design, and all the amenities were very comprehensive. These are my honest personal feelings. Overall, the stay was very smooth!

PPaul. SHotel has 6 floors with 1 lift. Average size room. Big windows, Queen bed with 2 pillows, 2 bedside tables. 1 round table with chair. Std amenities with paper cups. Laundry has 1 washer and 1 dryer. Separate bath/toilet, bath, face towels. Floor towel mat. Small area but OK. Water flow out and wet toilet area although separated. No rain shower. Big slippers. Adequate hangers and hooks. Power sockets not well placed. Good location opposite People's Park. Buses to everywhere including railway station and airport. Plenty of food stalls, restaurants, convenience stores, shopping malls nearby. Very popular hotel. Breakfast simple but good.
