"This guesthouse is great! The room is spacious, and the staff member who checked us in was super friendly and handsome. We drove there, and he personally took us to the scenic spot's parking lot in his little electric tricycle, then drove us back to the guesthouse. The room even has a loft upstairs, which was a huge bonus, and we could see the iconic buildings of the ancient city directly from our room. When we were leaving, I wanted to buy a can of oxygen, and he just gave me one for free! Another fun thing was that there's a really cute dog at the guesthouse. We brought our cat with us, and the dog was incredibly cute and friendly, even coming to 'knock' on our door. It was a really good travel experience overall!"

It's incredibly convenient for exploring Shangri-La's various attractions, dining out, shopping, and even joining the local Guozhuang folk dances. The entire guesthouse, from the lobby to the rooms, is impeccably clean. The facilities are brand new, beautifully designed, and stylish – you'll find picture-perfect spots everywhere to snap photos for your social media. Each room is equipped with an oxygen concentrator, so those concerned about altitude sickness can book with complete peace of mind. A little oxygen at night can really help prevent headaches. The bathrooms are fully stocked with disposable toiletries, and the hot water is instant with excellent pressure – perfect for a refreshing shower after a long day of exploring. They even offer self-service laundry facilities, which is a huge convenience. While the facilities are indeed top-notch, truly living up to its 'zero negative reviews' reputation, what truly sets this guesthouse apart are the incredible hosts, the owner and his wife. Even if you haven't planned your itinerary, fear not – the landlady will meticulously arrange everything for you. She's not only an amazing cook, providing delicious meals from morning till night, but she even prepares sunflower seeds for you to feed the local squirrels! She also offers excellent recommendations for unique local restaurants, leaving you spoiled for choice. Tashi, the guesthouse's affiliated driver, was equally fantastic. He effortlessly hauled our two heavy suitcases, even at this altitude, and happily sped off, haha! All transportation costs are transparently priced with no hidden fees, so you can absolutely trust them. I really hit it off with the landlady; our conversations were always delightful. She's truly as beautiful as she is kind-hearted. Thanks to her comprehensive support, my Shangri-La trip was exceptionally smooth. My only minor regret is that I didn't get to witness the 'Golden Mountain in the Sun' this time around – but that just gives me a perfect excuse to visit again! To anyone reading this review, I wholeheartedly recommend booking this guesthouse. It's genuinely fantastic, and I'll eat my hat if I'm wrong! ^++++^"

"I was a bit worried about altitude sickness when I first arrived in Shangri-La, so I only booked one night. Turns out, I felt completely fine even by check-out. The two ladies at the front desk were incredibly warm and welcoming. The moment I stepped out of the car at the hotel entrance, my suitcase was whisked away as I walked in! They swiftly escorted me to my room and then quickly brought afternoon tea. My first impression of the hotel was excellent. The next day, when I extended my stay, they honored my points rate and even knocked off 20, which I felt a little guilty about, but I'm truly grateful to the staff. Their generosity really impressed me. The room facilities were quite new, with a humidifier and an oxygen machine (though I didn't need it). The room was so spacious you could run laps in it! A great feature was the large, L-shaped desk, perfect for setting up electronics like a laptop and tablet without having to move things around for meals. It's only an 8-minute walk to the ancient town if you take the small path to the upper left from the hotel. The eaves along the way are wide, so you're mostly protected from the sun. Getting a taxi isn't an issue either; after two days here, it feels like there are more ride-sharing cars than tourists! For those looking for great value for money, I highly recommend this place."

"My stay at Muyulan was incredibly comfortable and pleasant. The front desk staff was exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond, not just with check-in, but also by patiently recommending local eateries. You could tell they really cared. A huge bonus was that they even helped me retrieve a package from the post station – that kind of attention to detail is rare and really made me feel looked after. The room itself was also fantastic: clean, stylishly designed, and even came with a smart toilet, making for a very convenient and comfortable stay. Overall, it's a guesthouse with warmth and thoughtful touches. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next visit."

"I originally planned for this to just be a stopover on our way to Meili Snow Mountain, but unexpectedly, it turned out to be the best accommodation experience I've had in a hotel or guesthouse throughout this trip, and even in the past decade! The location is right in Gongbi Village, Napa Lake, which is super convenient if you're driving (although when we first navigated into the village, I was a bit confused if we took a wrong turn, it's actually very easy to find, about 30 meters from the main road). As someone who's a bit of a clean freak, I was genuinely impressed by how clean both the room and public areas were. Everything, from the smart toilet to the mirrors, windows, and linens, was spotless. It made for a very comfortable and reassuring stay. The room is fully equipped with everything you'd need, including an oxygen concentrator and a very effective heater (we actually turned it off at night, it was voice-controlled). The hostess is beautiful and kind-hearted, and the host is also very amiable. Their child even actively helped out, showing excellent service awareness by proactively assisting with luggage. And the food here is absolutely delicious! The breakfast was rich and tasty, and the yak hotpot for dinner was amazing – plus, the prices were very reasonable, offering excellent value for money. There are so many details I want to praise and highlight, but I'm too lazy to type it all out. My child and my mother both insisted that I remember to write a good review for them. If I get the chance, I truly want to come back again."

"We stayed at this guesthouse for 4 days and 3 nights it was my first time staying in 名宿, and I absolutely loved it. Although it’s not located right in the old town, it’s just a 10 to 15mins DiDi ride away. It’s actually near Napa Sea, and from the guesthouse, we could walk to the newly opened 大经幡 and the wide 大草原 with horses. The whole area is peaceful and scenic. The guesthouse itself is incredibly cozy, it felt just like home. From here, it’s also easy to take a DiDi around Napa Sea or to nearby spots like Shika Snow Mountain and Heidou Café, both just about 10 minutes away. We found the location very convenient and peaceful great escape from the busy tourist areas. The lady boss’s son, 小勋, was super helpful. He picked us up and sent us to the train station, and even brought us to the old town when he was free. There were also two lovely ladies, 王姐 and 小邓, who took care of us like family. They’re from Hunan, and their homecooked meals were absolutely amazing delicious, not oily, and full of heart. We had their cooking every evening during our stay and enjoyed every bite. Every morning, they also provided us with breakfast. The whole experience was so warm and relaxing just like staying in our own home. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again!"

"Service: The service was incredibly thoughtful. On a drizzly day, the butler personally greeted us, helped with our luggage, and even drove us to a restaurant outside the ancient city. It's clear they pour their heart into running this establishment! Environment: Located within the ancient city, our room featured floor-to-ceiling windows and a charming, small courtyard. We could even enjoy a foot bath in the room, and the bedding was exceptionally comfortable. It was wonderfully quiet at night, offering a peaceful retreat right in the heart of things. Amenities: They thoughtfully provided mosquito repellent and oxygen tanks, which was very convenient. What's more, it's a pet-friendly place, which was a huge bonus! 👍 Seriously, book without hesitation – you absolutely won't regret your stay!"

"Five-star recommendation! This Tibetan-style homestay, which I recommended online, feels like I have traveled into another world from the moment I step into the gate! The boss is a native *******. The room design retains the traditional ******* elements - hand-carved wooden beams and columns, wooden floors, colorful paintings, and cleverly incorporates modern facilities such as floor heating and smart toilets. It is very comfortable to sleep at an altitude of 3,000 meters! The family room is spacious and divided into two separate rooms, each with its own door, providing great privacy. The breakfast at the B&B is also very delicious, with yak milk and barley cakes, which are very authentic. The owner warmly entertained us with her snacks, which made us feel at home. The location of the homestay is also excellent. It takes 10 minutes by taxi to Songzanlin Temple and 15 minutes by taxi to Dukezong Ancient Town. I received a gift from my boss when I left. Now looking at the beautiful photos on my phone, I have already started planning to stay longer next time! It is highly recommended to friends who want to deeply experience ******* culture. This is not a hotel, but your home on the plateau."
