The front desk staff were very welcoming and kindly upgraded me to a deluxe king room free of charge, which I really appreciate. The room was spacious and clean, and the location is fantastic, right above MixC City, making it super convenient for shopping and exploring. The food and other services were also excellent. "This hotel cum service apartment is distinguished by a few outstanding features : room functions activated by vocal command smart system (just shout out the directive and curtains will be drawn or the aircon adjusted to your desired temperature, except that the directives have to be issued in Mandarin which might then pose a problem to foreigners unfamiliar with the language); a comfortable lobby lounge with free drinks (the coffee is great) and an equally comfortable reading room with a selection of books next to the gym and roof terrace on the ninth floor; a front verandah with decking and al fresco furniture that provides a calm oasis at the heart of vibrant Dongmen. The location of this establishment, literally a few steps from both the Laojie metro station with two lines 1 and 3 (line 1 is particularly good for connecting to most major landmarks) and a plethora of shopping and dining options, also spell convenience with a capital C."

"Amazing workers, always willing to help with issues no matter what as they are very dedicated, its very very clean, bedding, bathroom, all clean. We had a nice view, the room was spacious for a excellent price. Quite aesthetically pleasing, theres food around the hotel, like mcdonalds, Chinese food , a beauty clinic, and its close to many known places such as Coco shopping mall or bitcity. no complaints, we will miss Shenzhen!"

"The hotel's location is excellent, right by the subway station entrance and across from a shopping mall, which is very convenient. The hotel environment is also good, though it is a bit old. The room's carpet was a little dirty, but the bathroom was fine. The customer service was quite good, actively helping guests resolve room issues. The view from the room window was fantastic, offering a full panoramic view of Futian CBD, which was definitely a highlight. The room size was also just right."

"This was another stay, and as always, the hotel delivered. Jossce from Guest Relations continues to impress with her thoughtful and attentive service. She took the initiative to understand my preferences beforehand and arranged a high-floor, east-facing room for me, ensuring expansive views and the perfect sunrise. The room was spotless, clean, and well-laid out. The most delightful feature, however, was the panoramic floor-to-ceiling window. Waking up to the morning sun gently filling the room, watching the city come alive at dawn, created such a peaceful and hopeful scene. It truly delivered on the ideal experience of 'sleeping with a view and waking up to the sunrise.' The hotel's location is a huge plus; it's within walking distance of the Exhibition Center and Joy City, making business trips incredibly efficient and convenient. An even bigger surprise was discovering Link City, a fantastic underground shopping street with dining, shopping, and entertainment, directly accessible from the metro station entrance right outside the hotel. It seamlessly connects to Huangting Plaza, Link City Center, and the Exhibition Center, offering everything you could want for food, fun, and leisure – highly recommended! Overall, it's excellent value for money. Whether for business or a short getaway, this is the perfect choice. I'll definitely be back."

And honestly, finding a room for just over a hundred RMB for an overnight stay in Shenzhen means you can't really complain. However, you should be prepared for a small room and average cleanliness. Personally, I think it offers decent value for money, especially if you're just looking for a place to crash before an early train the next day. If you're looking for higher quality, you'll need to consider other options."
