Great
GGrey mouserGorgeous aesthetic throughout this lovely hotel! Gorgeous views of the Shotover River, pool, sauna and steam room all make this a luxurious stay.
AAnonymous UserIt's a 10-minute walk from town along the lake, very new and clean with good service and a friendly attitude. Check-in is after 2 PM. The kitchen is huge, and the common areas are fantastic. The only thing I think would make it perfect is if the toilet and shower were separate. Because if one person goes in to shower, the entire bathroom door is closed, and anyone who needs to use the toilet can't. Similarly, if someone is using the toilet, others can't shower.
GGuest UserThis was my first time staying in a capsule hotel, and overall it was pretty good. You can turn on a fan inside the bed, so it doesn't feel stuffy. I was super lucky that day because even though it was a 4-person dorm, only two of us actually checked in, so it felt like a private two-person room. This LyLo in Queenstown is super close, right on the corner, and has a big penguin out front. Self-check-in was very easy; they send you an email well in advance, so the check-in process is a breeze. Check-out was even simpler – just click on the 'check-out' link in the email. Everyone in the room gets a locker, and it's quite spacious, so my suitcase fit in perfectly. The front desk service was also great. I accidentally locked my locker before setting a password, but I went down to the front desk, and they helped me resolve it quickly. They were very polite throughout. However, there was one minor issue with the facilities: there were a lot of people in the bathroom. Although the shower area was quite spacious, there was only one sink, so everyone had to take turns brushing their teeth and washing up.
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is very central, a 20-minute walk to the lake, or a 5-minute drive. The service attitude was good. We didn't try the restaurant. The balcony offered lake views, but the building and rooms overall felt a bit dated. The parking lot was a significant issue, and I'm not sure if other Queenstown hotels have similar problems: 1) There were no clear signs for entering the parking lot (we encountered road construction, and the entrance was marked as closed, but it was indeed the way in). The parking entrance involved an uphill slope before driving down to a lower level. The exit also wasn't clearly marked, making it easy to confuse the entrance and exit, thinking the entrance was also the way out. 2) The parking lot was narrow with many pillars and quite dark. 3) The ceiling of the parking lot was low; opening the trunk would hit the ceiling, and opening it too quickly could easily cause scratches (as the parking notice states, 'enter at your own risk,' so it seems many cars have been scratched in this lot).
GGuest UserThe hotel boasts an excellent location, just a two-minute walk from the lake. The service was attentive; they helped store our luggage and even brought it up to our room. While the room facilities aren't brand new, they are well-maintained and complete. It's perfect for guests who want to step right out and enjoy the scenic views.
QQatar AirwaysHakahouse Queenstown: I think this hotel has a really unique design, and I truly believe it's a great choice. I'm quite fond of it! I was even thinking of coming here for a date, you know? Like, I was definitely considering it for a date. Do you know what this place is all about?
GGuest UserView was more than spectacular..recommend booking a lake view room, was able to sleep with the window open and the view of the lake all day and night was breathtaking.. food in restaurant so/so, easy walk into town to find everything you need
NNigulasizhaosiayoLocated on the outskirts of Queenstown, it's about a 15-minute drive to the town center. There's a McDonald's nearby. The front desk has Chinese-speaking staff who are all very friendly. The room was spacious and the sanitary facilities were great.
GGuest UserNewer than the other Wyndham, and very close to the airport. There's a Thai restaurant and a Malaysian restaurant nearby, and you can walk to a Chinese and an Asian supermarket. The kitchen is fully equipped for making simple meals. If there's traffic, it takes about half an hour to drive to Queenstown.
SStuartKilmartinBeautiful spot slightly outside the town, but a scenic 15/20 min walk (down the hill). Room was spacious with a stunning view of the lake and mountains. Slightly dated room, with an old TV, (cannot connect phone/netflix) but clean and well kept.
