GGuest UserAbsolutely loved this hotel! Stayed for 7 days. The rooms were clean, and the service was incredibly warm and welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic, catering to guests from all over the world with a huge variety. Every photo you take here turns out beautifully. Peacocks greet you right outside your room in the morning, and you can even feed them yourself. Wild chickens and monkeys are everywhere, and there are coconut trees all around. Lying on a lounge chair facing the ocean is just breathtaking. You don't even need to go to White Sand Beach to swim; you can do it right at the hotel. It's less crowded, clean, and there's a pool too. Staying here truly made our trip to Koh Chang unforgettable!

Amazing hotel - would highly recommend staying here.
We stayed at serenity resort for 2 nights on arriving at Koh Chang from Bangkok. The location is so so idyllic and relaxing, absolutely beautiful. We also stayed on the west side of the island for a couple of nights and while it is quieter on the east side of the island (ie, there is no point in leaving the resort in the evening as there is nothing really to do on the east side after dark) this is exactly what we were after.
The staff could not be more helpful and accommodating. Food and drinks at the restaurant were great and reasonably priced. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Lovely view.
As other reviews have said, if you are staying here you will likely want your own transport so you can explore. We rented a moped from the resort at a very reasonable price. If you want to rent a car make sure you have an intl driving permit (takes a few mins to obtain but must do whilst in the UK). There’s barely any traffic on this side of the island so the drive down to long beach at the south of the island felt very safe on a moped despite the hills (and would be the same in a car). The resort staff recommended us to do this and then get kayaks over to Koh ngam, which we did and was a great experience!
The other option is to rent a taxi for a day (we were quoted c2500 baht for 6 hours) and they can drop you wherever you like and wait for you.

ZZhendeaishuishuiReally enjoyed our stay. Immaculate property, pool area spacious and well maintained. Restaurant serves wonderful food authentic Thai which we enjoyed so much. Last but not least the extremely friendly staff makes this resort stand out from the rest. Will definitely return.

AAntonIf you love beautiful nature, clean sandy beach (not like white sand), human attitude is here. The price/quality ratio is just amazing!
Private beach, next to a good restaurant on the seaside.
In general, there is a good set of depth in the sea.
A good massage salon with a stunning view.
English speaking staff is rare.
Water in bottles every day and little pleasures. A good Internet that catches even on the beach.
From the downsides - perhaps too much distance from the venue, but that's all the beauty. The lack of a teapot and a refrigerator in the cottage, and the compulsory presence of a motorbike as on the back.
I advise as much as possible.

Was ready after 30 minutes. We enjoyed happy hours next to the pool and close to the beach. The aquapark is very nice too. Breakfast is a delight! Would definitely come back

TTan93Definitely a perfect place for hideaway. Stayed at the garden villa with private jacuzzi, have the river +sea view from the villa.
The resort is by the river and not far away from the beach. We can ride the boat provided by the hotel to the beach for free. Kayaking is available at THB 150 per hour and it’s quite fun. Location wise, there’s no 7-11 or any convenient shops within walking distance but all reachable with a motorbike, which is rentable at the lobby of the resort. The staffs are very friendly and helpful, will definitely come back!

GGuest UserA very comfortable hotel. We had a room with a sea view. The evenings are magical when the sun sets. The breakfasts are very varied, and the hotel staff is quick and very polite. There are plenty of different restaurants right next to the hotel. I highly recommend it.
