"The entire hotel is constructed from timber, and the overall decor style is very consistent. The only drawback is that the beach is quite small, but there are plenty of other places to explore, and it's very comfortable to just relax at the hotel. Right at the hotel entrance, there's a service point where you can sign up for island hopping tours, and I also got my laundry done there, 65 baht per kilogram. There's a 7-Eleven right outside, and a nice restaurant called Mango Tree.
The room itself is quite spacious, and the bathroom is very large and comfortable. There's an electric mosquito repellent in the room, but I barely encountered any mosquitoes. The area outside the room is designed to look like a tropical rainforest, and it even rains occasionally. The pool right outside the room is a bit shallow, but there's a larger public pool in the common area.
Every evening at 6 PM, there's a torch-lighting ceremony by the pool, followed by marshmallow roasting.
Breakfast was quite substantial. Many people queued for coffee, and there were noodle and egg stations. The Thai stew was delicious.
There's an intern named Mon who speaks Chinese, and she was incredibly helpful to us. I went to her for everything, and she was always very enthusiastic to assist. She told me her Chinese teacher gave her the Chinese name 'Xiangling' (香菱), and I suggested she break ties with that teacher!"
