Coming to Xiamen for Jolin Tsai's concert, I was truly impressed by this hotel! When it comes to location, the biggest fear is a hassle. This hotel is super close to the airport, about a 15-minute taxi ride, so you arrive almost instantly, completely eliminating travel fatigue.
🚌 A special shout-out to the hotel's shuttle service! It took us directly from the hotel to the concert venue. After enjoying the show, while others were still queuing up for taxis, we were already comfortably heading back to the hotel. This 'unhurried' ease doubled the joy of attending the concert! The beach and wooden boardwalk next to the hotel were amazing! You can even take a stroll there.
🎤 From the moment I booked, Annie was like a thoughtful friend, arranging everything down to the smallest detail. Knowing I was there for a concert, she even checked if we had gotten on the shuttle. When checking out, Annie asked if I had received the deposit – truly attentive and thorough service. A perfect stay, next time I come to Xiamen, there's no doubt, it'll be this hotel!

My entire stay at Xiamen Tai Nung Hotel was absolutely fantastic, a truly comfortable travel and accommodation experience that I simply have to rave about!
First and foremost, the location is absolutely perfect, making transportation incredibly convenient. The hotel is right by Heping Wharf, and you can walk to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street in just a few minutes, making shopping and dining super easy. It's also very convenient for taking a boat to Gulangyu Island, being close to the ferry terminal, so no long journeys. There are also subway stations and multiple bus lines nearby, saving time and hassle whether you're visiting various attractions or heading back home – it's just so tourist-friendly.
Secondly, the hotel service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive, genuinely feeling sincere throughout. The front desk staff were warm and friendly during check-in, communication was smooth, and they even offered a free room upgrade, giving us a more spacious and comfortable room than expected. Considering our travel plans, they also kindly extended our check-out time, so we didn't have to rush our itinerary and could rest and pack more leisurely. These small details show how considerate they are, and the staff were patient, meticulous, and always provided excellent service.
Additionally, the hotel's dining options were a huge bonus, full of thoughtful touches. The hotel thoughtfully provides afternoon tea and late-night snacks. The afternoon tea was exquisite and delicious, allowing us to taste authentic Southern Fujian snacks – perfect for an afternoon break. The late-night snacks offered a rich variety, including warming and comforting dishes like Angelica beef noodles and Satay noodles. Coming back to the hotel after a tiring day of sightseeing and enjoying a portion instantly cured our travel fatigue. This thoughtful service truly hits the spot.
Overall, Xiamen Tai Nung Hotel boasts an excellent location, heartwarming service, attention to detail, and incredible value for money. Choosing this hotel for your trip to Xiamen is a sure bet, you won't be disappointed! I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Xiamen!

The front desk even upgraded our room for free when they saw I was traveling with a child, which made for a very happy stay. Highly recommended! The breakfast was also very rich and plentiful.

MMoshengren1967The environment is elegant and quiet. The front desk staff provided excellent service. The room was great, very spacious, and came with a hot spring tub. We could also go to the outdoor hot springs across the street, and there was a shuttle bus available, which was very convenient and comfortable.
The swimming pool isn't huge, but it's heated, and thankfully, it wasn't crowded, so it was nice for a workout.
Breakfast was rich with plenty of choices. Thumbs up!

GGuest UserLet me start with the cons. There are limited parking spaces above ground, and the two-level underground garage also has a scarcity of oddly-designed spots. The lanes are very narrow, and my tire was scraped when I drove out after checking out.
Now for the pros: The location is excellent, making it convenient to get to Ba Shi (the Eighth Market), the Botanical Garden, and various walking trails. The underground garage door is sensor-controlled, opening and closing automatically, and there are projected indicators on the ground in the lanes, which is a nice touch. The room design is practical, featuring a separate walk-in closet. The two 1.2-meter beds have wheels, making them easy to move. The mattress was the biggest surprise—it's tall, very comfortable, and lives up to five-star hotel standards.

GGuest UserI stayed at this hotel in Xiamen back in 2017, when it had just opened, and I was really impressed with both the room facilities and the service. For this family trip, I specifically chose to come back here. The location is super convenient, right next to Powerlong One Mall, and most importantly, I honestly couldn't find another place with better value for money for this two-bedroom type (in my opinion)! However, I have to admit the rooms are definitely showing their age. And for some reason, this room type had a strong smell. We switched to another room which was a bit better, but there was still a musty odor. The staff's service attitude was impeccable, though. I guess it's all about the value for money here.

GGuest UserI specifically chose to travel during the off-peak season to Xiamen, which truly lives up to its reputation as a 'garden city.' My child loves animals, so I picked this hotel. We met a lovely manager in the lobby (I think her surname was Lai) who was incredibly kind and helped us upgrade to an animal-themed room. My child was absolutely thrilled! The hotel's parking and access to the zoo were very convenient. We even bought circus tickets for the little one, which was totally worth it – my child had the best time! Great value for money! We had a fantastic stay!

It was great to relax there after a day out. The robot delivery service for takeaways to the room was super convenient. HHappy PatronThe room was clean, service was good. We received new towels and tooth brushes each day, water bottles were only forgotten to replenish one day. They allowed use of their public refrigerator which was very nice for keeping medication cold as it was needed. The place brought us very nice bathrobes when we noticed they were missing. However there was a razor as indicated via Trip.com booking, perhaps an advertising issue. Everything else was as described. Had a bathtub,nice electric TV projector screen, beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. The negatives were that the walls are thin, sound travels easily, we could hear a person singing in the shower from down the hall and the shower pole was loose so could easily come out of the wall, but it didn’t cause water to leak, just needs to be screwed in, also the door lock didn’t work, needs repair, but there was a chain.

The hotel is Situated in a touristy part of the city, close to one of the main beaches. The room and common areas were decent and tidy. My room 1812 was spacious and illuminated, the only thing to improve is the deck that it is becoming a bit old. breakfast is included, mostly Asian style. The internet connection was good in general.
