Our stay at the Wyndham Xiamen was truly amazing, with the unparalleled, front-row sea view being the absolute highlight. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows in the room offered an unobstructed, endless vista of the azure sea, with the majestic Xiang'an Bridge stretching calmly across the water – the view was clear and expansive. Waiting for the sunrise over the sea in the morning and encountering the orange sunset in the evening, both dawn and dusk provided incredibly therapeutic scenery with a fantastic ambiance; every photo taken looked like a professional seascape shot.
The complimentary breakfast was truly impressive, with a rich and diverse selection. Authentic Fujianese snacks like Shacha noodles and vermicelli paste were flavorful and delicious, while Western hot dishes, exquisite desserts, and seasonal fresh fruits were all available, catering to a variety of tastes.
The service was gentle, attentive, and highly efficient. Any questions or requests before and during our stay were promptly and properly addressed, with staff being humble and polite. The meticulous service significantly enhanced our sense of happiness during the stay.
The room was spotlessly clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable against the skin. The hotel as a whole was quiet and elegant, making for an exceptionally relaxing and comfortable vacation. With its superb sea views and thoughtful, spot-on service, this will definitely be our top choice for our next visit to Xiamen!

Miao_wThe hotel was easy to find and the breakfast had a good variety. There's a public swimming pool with clean water, but remember to bring a swim cap. The room was quiet, the bedding was clean, and the staff were all very friendly. A satisfying trip, I recommend it.

Fiona TsangI booked a non-smoking executive suite, which was larger than a standard room, making it convenient for luggage and storing odds and ends. However, the hotel breakfast was the worst I've ever had. Firstly, upon entering, no one was there to seat us, and the organization was chaotic. There was even one person occupying a four-person table alone. The food quality was poor; it was essentially vegetarian with no meat. The only edible items were bread, fried eggs, and noodle soup. For the price paid, this level of quality was truly disappointing, especially since I had to endure it for three days.
On the positive side, the hotel is conveniently located near the Dongdu Ferry Terminal.

The Xiamen Riyuegu Hot Spring Resort is perfect for a family vacation! The entire resort has a rich Southeast Asian garden ambiance, with lush greenery and fresh air, making it incredibly picturesque. The rooms are clean and spacious, each with a private hot spring tub that you can enjoy anytime. The public hot spring pools offer a wide variety, including a water play area suitable for children, providing an excellent fun experience. The staff are warm and attentive, offering meticulous service, and the breakfast is abundant and delicious. The whole trip was relaxing and hassle-free, with adults unwinding and kids having a blast. It’s highly recommended for a short family getaway!

I took a last-minute trip to Xiamen during the May 1st holiday, and hotel prices everywhere had skyrocketed. This place, however, remained unchanged. I initially thought it might be an older hotel, but the reviews were all positive, so I booked two nights. The location is truly excellent – right next to a subway station and across from a mall, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the room. While not brand new, it was well-maintained. Being a hotel apartment, it came with a large refrigerator and a combo washer-dryer, which is perfect for trips lasting anywhere from 3 days to a week. The machine wasn't noisy either. The subway downstairs made getting anywhere very easy. The room came with two bottles of water daily, which wasn't quite enough, but when I mentioned it to the front desk, they immediately gave me six more. Overall, my stay was very comfortable. The only minor thing I found a bit unusual was the breakfast – it was very vegetarian-focused, with no meat. It wasn't bad, just a bit different from what I'm used to.

Came here with my child during the winter break and chose this family-friendly hotel. It's packed with animal-themed elements, and there's a zoo right downstairs! The animals are incredibly well-kept – white tigers, raccoons, giraffes, brown bears, flamingos, you name it. They're even more beautiful, bigger, and have shinier coats than the ones I've seen in other zoos. Every morning, I woke up to the sound of birds. The room was also good, simple yet spacious, and the carpet meant my child could run around without getting hurt if they fell. The hotel's breakfast buffet had a wide variety, including local specialties like Shacha noodles and Western options. Overall, we had a very satisfying two-day stay with the kids.

Overall, I had a mixed experience at this hotel.
The biggest issue was finding the entrance. Since the hotel is located inside a shopping mall, it was very difficult to locate, especially as I arrived in the middle of the night. When I called the hotel for directions, no one spoke English, so I spent quite a while trying to find the entrance and ended up carrying my luggage around late at night, which was quite frustrating.
After finally checking in, I discovered that the lights in my room were flashing, making it impossible to sleep. At around 3 a.m., I had to change rooms. The staff did their best to help, and I appreciated that, although no one followed up afterward to check whether everything was resolved.
The replacement room was functional, but it was very dark, had a low ceiling, and the windows faced the inside of the shopping mall, so there was almost no natural light. I wasn’t happy with it, and after I raised the issue, the hotel moved me to a much better room. I appreciated that they accommodated my request
One feature I really liked was the complimentary self-service laundry, which is a great convenience for travelers. The only downside was that there were only three washing machines, and they were almost always occupied.
Despite the issues, the staff were polite and genuinely tried to help whenever I asked. With clearer directions to the entrance, better English support for late-night arrivals, and more proactive customer service, the overall experience would have been much better.

I recently stayed at Asia Gulf Hotel in my trip to Xiamen and overall, I had a positive experience. The hotel is Situated in a touristy part of the city, close to one of the main beaches. The room and common areas were decent and tidy. My room 1812 was spacious and illuminated, the only thing to improve is the deck that it is becoming a bit old. breakfast is included, mostly Asian style. The internet connection was good in general.
