"We had a wonderful stay at Fraser Suites Guangzhou and honestly could not have asked for a better experience. We stayed in the one-bedroom apartment, and it was extremely complete and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, including utensils and appliances, which made the stay very convenient. Having a washing machine was also a huge plus, and we really appreciated being able to make tea and feel at home during our trip. The breakfast was excellent every morning. One of our favorite parts was the fresh juice machine where we could squeeze our own juice. The selection was very good, and the chefs and restaurant staff were always attentive, professional, and kind. The concierge team was absolutely amazing. They helped us many times with directions, locations, transportation, and even our orders. Communication was very easy because their English was excellent, which made our stay even more comfortable. A special mention to the housekeeping team, who truly made the experience exceptional. On the second day, the housekeeper noticed that I was washing clothes and kindly brought a drying rack to the room so we could hang everything properly. She even arranged the clothes for drying herself. She also left thoughtful notes whenever she was unsure about personal items — for example, one day there was a teapot on the table, and instead of removing it, she left a note saying she did not clean it because she was not sure if we were still using it. These small details showed genuine care and attention. The location was also extremely convenient. The hotel is directly connected to the mall, which made shopping and moving around very easy. There were trendy bakeries and cafés literally next to the entrance, and we loved trying them during our stay. We could also simply cross the street to reach Taikoo Hui for luxury shopping, and Grandview Mall was only a short walk away. There were plenty of convenience stores nearby and even some halal food options around the area, which made everything very comfortable and accessible for us. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and felt very welcomed throughout the entire experience. I would highly recommend Fraser Suites Guangzhou and will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Guangzhou."

"The hotel is as we remembered - still as classy and elegant, with its stunning lobby and beautifully manicured central courtyard garden. The suite we were upgraded to has been recently renovated to a high standard and there are signs that other parts of the hotel are undergoing refurbishment too (for example, work on the roof) which is a good sign of regular maintenance. A pity though that the breakfast, whilst still brimming with choice and variety, has lost some of its quality. Breakfast at the hotel was, during our last visit, a serene experience we anticipated every morning. On our current revisit, the breakfast room has become chaotic and noisy like a railway terminal, as the hotel appears to gear increasingly towards catering for large conference groups. Tables, hitherto confined to the actual breakfast room and the lovely tree-arbored terrace overlooking the fountains and ponds, have now spilled over into the colonnaded corridors of the garden, ruining both the ambience and lowering the tenor of what used to be an elegant ritual. The calibre of the hotel guests seems to have deteriorated as well, which is a pity for this iconic, historic hotel."

"I originally planned to take a short break during the Dragon Boat Festival. When I applied for leave with my boss, it was approved immediately, which made me so happy! I quickly opened Ctrip and booked my flight, and to my delight, the prices hadn't gone up. After work, I rushed home, packed my bags, and headed straight to the airport. All the traffic lights were green, and there was no traffic. The driver was also very polite and kind, even helping me with my luggage when I got out, which made me feel very warm. I was in such a great mood for my trip! I arrived in Guangzhou smoothly and took a taxi to the attractions I wanted to visit. I booked a hotel last minute and found its location to be absolutely fantastic, very convenient with everything nearby, and the price wasn't too expensive either. The front desk ladies were incredibly warm and friendly. Seeing that I was from out of town, they specifically found me the room type I wanted and even thoughtfully added the concierge's WeChat, sending me location guides and other tips. I had a wonderful two days in Guangzhou, eating and drinking to my heart's content, and even brought back plenty of local specialties for my colleagues. This trip was truly meaningful; I encountered so many warm people and experiences, which even improved my mood about returning to work. I'll definitely come back to Guangzhou again!"

"This hotel is super close to Guangzhou East Station, just about a five-minute walk. The hotel facilities and service are excellent. As a member, I was able to get a room upgrade, and the pool and sauna were also great! The breakfast the next morning was a pleasant surprise, with a wide variety of choices to cater to different nationalities, including Muslim-friendly options. The caramel bread, in particular, was absolutely delicious. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this hotel! I'll definitely be booking it again soon."

"Last time I visited Guangzhou, I wanted to book this hotel, but couldn't. This time, I decided to give it a try, and now I regret not staying here with my parents on our last trip. From now on, this will be my go-to hotel in Guangzhou. **Facilities:** This hotel, steeped in history and culture, maintains its facilities impeccably. Contrary to some online reviews, the rooms are not at all old; they are incredibly well-maintained with no hint of datedness. The bedding and mattress are exceptionally comfortable; as someone who suffers from chronic insomnia, I slept incredibly well for both nights. **Environment:** It's very grand, a true garden hotel in the heart of the city. **Hygiene:** The cleanliness is outstanding. Every day after the room attendants clean, the manager personally comes to check if everything is spotless. This level of meticulousness and thoughtfulness is something you only find in these established, classic hotels. **Service:** The service is absolutely superb. They even upgraded our room when I brought my mother along, which I truly appreciate."

"Came to Guangzhou for a day trip with a friend and chose this hotel's projector room. Overall, the stay was quite good, no regrets. However, there are areas for improvement, which I'll mention at the end. I originally booked it for the 120-inch giant projector screen, especially with the World Cup happening. Watching the game from bed after a shower at night was absolutely fantastic. The sound and picture quality were spot on, no need to squeeze into crowded outdoor eateries. The room's natural light was much better than I expected. Guangzhou had sunny weather these past few days, and in the morning, the sunlight streamed in diagonally, making the whole room bright and airy, not stuffy at all – very comfortable to stay in. The cleanliness was also well done, and the bedding was so soft I didn't even want to leave the room. The location is a huge plus. It's very close to Canton Tower, just a 10-minute taxi ride away. We specifically went there in the evening for dim sum and night views. There were plenty of places to eat and shop along the way, making it very convenient to get back and forth without having to travel far for food. The area downstairs from the hotel is also quite nice; the lobby's greenery design had a great feel to it. Check-in was fast at the front desk, with no unnecessary procedures, which was very efficient. I also managed to squeeze in a visit to the high-altitude swimming pool. The water was clean, and it wasn't crowded. Swimming a couple of laps while looking out at the city view was incredibly relaxing, but I couldn't stay long due to a tight schedule that day. I challenged myself to swim 1000m; it had been a while since I last swam, and I felt a bit out of breath, but I was fine after a short rest. Finally, my suggestions are: it's great value for money, and it would be nice if the room could have some snacks prepared. Otherwise, I'm too lazy to go to the convenience store and have to play rock-paper-scissors with my friend for it!"

"Our stay at this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way, and we are truly happy that we chose to stay here. From the very first moment we arrived, the experience already felt warm and welcoming. We especially want to give a huge thank you to Connor, who made such a strong first impression on us. At first, some of the staff greeted us in Mandarin, but once they realized we were speaking English, Connor immediately approached us with such professionalism, friendliness, and great initiative. He made us feel comfortable right away and handled everything smoothly with genuine hospitality. His attentiveness and positive attitude really stood out throughout our stay. We were also very happy to receive a high-floor room, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The room itself was spacious, clean, modern, and very comfortable. Everything was well-maintained, and you could really feel the quality and attention to detail in both the room design and housekeeping. The bed was comfortable, the atmosphere was relaxing, and overall it was a perfect place to rest after exploring the city. Another lovely surprise was the complimentary treats arranged by Connor, which we truly appreciated. Small gestures like this really make guests feel valued and cared for, and it shows how much effort the hotel puts into customer experience. The breakfast was also one of the highlights of our stay. There were many delicious options, and we especially loved the live station for cicongfan — it was honestly so good and something quite unique compared to typical hotel breakfasts. Everything tasted fresh, and the variety was excellent every morning. Because we enjoyed our stay so much, we eventually decided to extend for a few more nights instead of moving elsewhere. That alone says a lot about how satisfied we were with the hotel, the service, and the overall atmosphere. The location is another big plus. It’s very convenient, and right beside the hotel there are several great local food spots to explore. We especially loved the wonton noodles nearby — definitely one of our favorite meals during the trip. Having good local food within walking distance made the stay even better. The only small suggestion we would give is that some parts of the room could benefit from a more modern renovation and perhaps a fresher fragrance to elevate the luxury feeling even further. The room was still comfortable overall, but with a more updated design and a fresher ambiance, the experience would become even more perfect. Overall, this hotel gave us such a memorable experience thanks to the excellent service, comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast, and strategic location. "The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful. Upon learning it was our first stay and an anniversary trip, they surprised us with a floral welcome and even upgraded us to an Executive room. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. From the higher floors of the hotel, you can enjoy a distant view of Canton Tower."
