"This time for our family trip to Macau, we chose Studio City. In a nutshell: everything about this hotel is great, except for the rooms. For nearly two thousand a night (breakfast not included), opening the room door was a disappointment. The space was average, and the facilities were quite old. The room view was nothing special. The room quality was basically on par with an older 5-star hotel costing a few hundred yuan. However, the room snacks and minibar were free, and they also provided children's toiletries, so the service was still very good. On the first floor, there are many food and beverage shops, and even a Donki. On the third floor, you can ride the Ferris wheel, and the outdoor pool is also excellent. The kids had a fantastic time."

The hotel's infinity pool offers excellent views and an expansive panorama, making it a perfect spot for photos and social media check-ins. 🛎️ Service & Hospitality (Birthday Experience & Communication) Front Desk Reception & Flexibility: ⭐️⭐️ (2/5) Late checkout denied: I requested a complimentary late checkout until 1:00 PM because I had a bungee jumping activity early the next day, but it was denied by the front desk, showing a lack of flexibility. Communication gap: During check-in, I proactively asked about birthday amenities, and the front desk verbally stated that the ”room had already been specially decorated.” Customer Service Responsiveness & Crisis Management: ⭐️ (1/5) Broken promise: Upon checking in, I found that the room had absolutely no decorations. Passing the buck and insensitive remarks: When I called customer service to inquire, they first claimed it was an ”oversight,” and then blurted out: ”It's so late now, you wouldn't need decorations, would you?” After I confirmed that I did, they bluntly stated they were understaffed and ”couldn't do anything.” Compensation: Ultimately, I only received a supermarket voucher worth 30 MOP as compensation, which felt very insincere and left the birthday celebrant quite disappointed. 💡 Summary and Recommendation Pros: The room hygiene is good, and the infinity pool is outstanding. Cons: The room's hardware and decor do not match the high price; the hotel's arrangements for celebrations/birthdays are chaotic, with inconsistent information from the front desk and customer service. Their responsiveness and customer service attitude need significant improvement. Overall review: If you're coming for the infinity pool, it won't disappoint you; however, if you expect excellent celebration services and flexible, considerate hospitality, the hotel's performance in these areas is regrettable."

"Staying at the Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau was a pleasant surprise, offering a 'quiet oasis in the bustling city' feel. The lobby is understated yet stylish, and the room's floor-to-ceiling windows face the Sands, providing unexpectedly beautiful night views. The Portuguese charm truly made it, with impeccable aesthetics and thoughtful details. It’s not an over-the-top luxury, but it's comfortable and has a quality feel. I'd definitely want to come back."

"This hotel is amazing, I'm super satisfied! It's so convenient for concerts, just cross the road and you're at the Galaxy. Getting a taxi or car is easy too! Most importantly, the room was very clean and comfortable. The TV was a bit small, but I don't really watch it anyway, so no big deal. The service was also great; the front desk staff were all very polite and dedicated! I'll definitely stay here again next time!!! And Lay's concert was the absolute best! 👍👍👍"

"Overall, I had an excellent stay at this hotel. The facilities are magnificent, the room was very comfortable, and the service was remarkable for the vast majority of my stay. I truly enjoyed the experience and, in many respects, the establishment deserves its five-star reputation. However, I do want to mention an important point for future guests regarding the hotel's transportation service. On the night of the fireworks, the hotel transported us to old Macau. We naturally assumed we could also use the hotel's transportation to return after the event. However, upon returning, we learned that the buses were reserved for VIP guests and that we couldn't board. Therefore, I recommend that future guests clearly check with the hotel, before departing, if the offered transportation also includes the return journey and if it is accessible to all guests or only to VIP guests. This information was not clear to us, and we ended up having to arrange our own transportation to get back to the hotel. I can perfectly understand that a bus might be full or that the hotel has a particular policy for certain guests. What was most disappointing was how the situation was handled. A staff member spoke to us very abruptly and raised their voice, even though we were simply trying to understand how to get back to the hotel. I reported the situation to the hotel upon my return. I was listened to, but unfortunately, no one contacted me the next day to follow up or simply acknowledge what had happened. It's a shame, because apart from this incident, my stay was truly excellent. A simple gesture of attention or a follow-up from management would probably have completely changed my impression of this situation. Despite everything, I still have a very good overall impression of the hotel and the quality of its facilities. I just hope that the round-trip transportation service will be explained more clearly to future guests and that this type of situation will be handled better in the future."

"The lady at the front desk was very kind and proactively upgraded our room to a sea-view one, which was very quiet. I rarely leave reviews, but I feel that although this hotel is a bit old, it's clean, quiet, and has excellent air conditioning. The location is super convenient; there's a light rail station and bus stop right outside the door, and the Galaxy Diamond Lobby is just across the street, making it very easy to get to all the surrounding attractions. I would choose to stay here again next time I bring my family."

"Exterior: As shown in figures 1 and 2, this room type offers a direct view of the Eiffel Tower. Transportation: After landing at the airport, just follow the signs for hotel shuttles, and you'll find the Studio City shuttle at position 1, which is very convenient (Figure 7). When you reach W Macau - Studio City, it's the second stop, and there are signs. Service: Although there was a minor hiccup during our stay, the hotel team actively and positively resolved it, demonstrating high professionalism. Upon learning it was our honeymoon, they sent us cake and red wine. Dining: We chose in-room dining for both dinner and breakfast. It was very convenient and perfect for a vacation. The food was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. Tips: Check-in at 3 PM is very busy, and you might have to wait in line. You might consider checking in a bit later. I arrived at noon, checked in, and then just waited to pick up the room card in the afternoon."
