I initially thought a budget hotel might have mediocre service, but Elly's service completely exceeded my expectations. When checking in, she was enthusiastic and efficient, always smiling, and even proactively helped us get a discount, which made the value for money absolutely incredible. She patiently introduced us to the room's amenities and the surrounding facilities, recommended affordable and delicious restaurants, as well as free attractions, saving us quite a bit of money. The room itself was clean and tidy, well-equipped, and the bedding was comfortable – perfectly meeting all our daily needs. Whenever we had any requests during our stay, like needing extra towels, more water, or asking questions, Elly responded immediately and was always happy to help. At check-out, she even offered to help us call a taxi and carry our luggage, providing thoughtful and attentive service. Elly's fantastic service allowed us to enjoy a high-quality stay without breaking the bank. This is undoubtedly the king of value, and I strongly recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable stay who also values great service!

GGuest UserMy luxurious experience at MGM Qingdao wouldn't have been complete without Elly's excellent service! Before my trip, I inquired about the hotel's pool and gym rules, and Elly provided a timely and detailed response, clearly outlining the reservation process, opening hours, and even offering thoughtful reminders about important considerations. After checking in, I wanted to change my room's pillow type. I contacted Elly, and within minutes, the change was arranged. The response time was superb, and her attitude throughout was gentle and patient.
The room facilities were in perfect condition, featuring modern light luxury decor combined with elements of Qingdao's mountains and sea. The space was bright and tidy, with 270° panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offering unobstructed sea views. High-end bedding, custom bathrooms, and smart home appliances were all well-appointed, providing a first-class living experience.
The sky pool was impressive both in appearance and experience. Its high-altitude infinity design directly overlooked the Yellow Sea, with clean, constant-temperature water and a comfortable resting area. Swimming while enjoying the mountain and sea views was both pleasant and relaxing. The gym was upscale and spacious, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering full sea views and ample natural light. It was equipped with a rich variety of imported equipment and professionally divided zones to meet all types of exercise needs. Being open 24 hours, the workout experience was excellent. I will definitely prioritize staying here again on my next visit to Qingdao!

AApiradeejHotel very close to Qingdao Sailing Center in a walking distance and not far from Hisense and 54 Square which we can walk to see the light. On our arrival we quite disappointed because the hotel staff still working on the construction with something on our floor but we have informed that it would finish by 5pm without inform that tomorrow there will start the maintances again. In my openion if you do the maintenance you should not put the guests on that floor but if cannot at least inform them in advance what they going to meet. The smart toilet also did not work while we arrive but after we told staff, the smart toilet in both floor back to wok which we very appreciate.
But overall experience after we spend 2 nights, we love the location but the hotel may need a bit maintance and update the facilities. And thank you very much for the helpful staffs.

The front desk staff was incredibly warm and attentive; they even added an extra mattress on the floor for our child and gave us an extra breakfast. They also promptly contacted us when we left something behind at checkout. The hotel's quality is definitely worth the price.

The restaurant staff are very welcoming and constantly tidying tables, and the cleaning aunties are very responsible and always greet guests. A special thanks to Mr. Wang, who noticed our luggage was heavy when taking the hotel shuttle to the terminal and proactively helped us load it into the car. The driver was also perfectly on time. SSanshuizouliangbuTraveling during the May Day holiday, I had significantly lowered my expectations for hotels, just hoping my child would have a good time. To my surprise, even though this hotel has been open for so long, it's still incredibly well-maintained. The front desk staff, Yawen, was super efficient in handling our check-in and addressing various issues throughout our stay. The hotel also has hot springs, which is very convenient, and offers a one-stop experience for activities like clam digging, horse riding, and general fun. Any time we needed something delivered to the room or had luggage-related questions, it was resolved instantly. I'm truly amazed by the management here; for a hotel with 700 rooms, to operate so efficiently during the May Day holiday is incredible. The room is beautiful. In the morning, opening the window in our sea view room felt like stepping into a Miyazaki anime, and at night, with the lights on, it was like being in Hogwarts Castle.

GGuest UserAn absolutely perfect vacation experience. Choosing the InterContinental Qingdao was definitely the right decision this time. Even before I arrived, Jennifer Han from the InterContinental contacted me to ask about my preferences and needs, and she even warned me that it would rain on the day of my arrival. We got to the hotel quite late, but to my surprise, the room had already been prepared according to my requests and upgraded to a sea-view room, facing the stunning Olympic Sailing Center. The experience during our stay was fantastic. On the second morning, I asked about Zhizha, a local Qingdao specialty. On the third morning, as soon as I sat down for breakfast, a kind gentleman brought me specially prepared Zhizha and dessert. It really warmed my heart. My short vacation was made even more perfect thanks to the InterContinental Qingdao. Superb!

GGuest UserHygiene: The condition is worrying. There are hairs on the sink. One towel is hard and the other is soft (those who have stayed in hotels know what's going on). The water on the floor of the shower room is not dry. Are they really not afraid of customers slipping?
Service: The service quality of the front desk is really good. Whether it's towels or water, they can be solved in time. But the next day, when I didn't check out, the cleaning lady came to knock on the door? What does it mean? Are you chasing people away? I won't come again
