"2nd time stay at this hotel and as always, it has clean & spacious room, just in the middle of Nanjing Lu Pedestrian Street so many shops, eatery & malls just outside the hotel. It has free washing machine & dryer to use. Easy to find many kinds of food around the hotel, mini supermarket just beside the hotel, friendly staffs and comfortable beds. Need to note that this hotel might has some few stairs to reach some rooms, so for elderly, make sure to inform them and request rooms to reach without stairs. Overall, a good and recommended hotel to stay in Shanghai."

"Choosing this Bund hotel was the best decision I made on my trip to Shanghai. Its location is absolutely prime, right near the Bund. It's a mere 15-minute walk to the Bund, and as soon as you open the curtains, you're greeted by stunning views of the Huangpu River and the Oriental Pearl Tower, especially beautiful at night.
The hotel lobby boasts exquisite decor, and the guest rooms are spacious and airy. There's even a bathtub, and it's so relaxing to sit by the window and take in the Oriental Pearl Tower's night view.
The service was simply impeccable! From the moment I stepped out of the car, the concierge proactively helped with my luggage. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful, and the concierge even assisted with bringing my luggage to the room, patiently explaining hotel facilities and nearby attractions. The entire team was professional and thoughtful, never overly enthusiastic but certainly not perfunctory. The hotel staff, especially one person, helped me a lot, solving every issue I had. My stay was truly excellent. On departure, they even granted a late check-out and brought my luggage from the room directly to my car. Their service, from arrival to departure, was flawless, and any issues were promptly addressed. Fantastic! Fantastic! Fantastic!
The hotel's transportation links are also super convenient. It's within walking distance to the metro station, making it easy to get to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street and Yu Garden. There's also a宁波 Road nearby, and the hotel staff recommended some fantastic restaurants there. Whether it's the facilities, service, or views, this hotel truly sets the standard for Bund hotels. It's already on my must-stay list for my next Shanghai visit. Even though I rarely leave reviews, I really felt compelled to share my experience. My only minor suggestion would be to perhaps enhance the breakfast offerings. Friends visiting Shanghai, I highly recommend experiencing the service and rooms at this hotel!"

"This stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's shuttle bus service was so thoughtful, taking us directly from the airport to the hotel – super convenient and saved us a lot of hassle and effort! In the afternoon, we explored Qibao Ancient Town, which has such charming, old-world water town vibes with its historic buildings and cobblestone streets – truly full of character! When we got back to the hotel in the evening, we picked up some snacks and daily necessities at the hotel's small shop. The prices were reasonable, and there was a great selection, making it feel just as convenient as being at home!"

"Hotel located at very strategic location, less than 5 minutes walk to Metro Station and around 8 minutes walk to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street.
Hotel receptionist Lily was efficient and friendly during our check in and provided us some small gift during check out, which makes our experience comfortable and nice. Hotel also helped us to collect our parcels making it very convenient to shop online.
Our room was spacious and relatively cheap compared to hotel at this location considering it is Shanghai and near many famous location. They also have free gym and self laundry services.
However there were a few points that could be improved. For hotel of 12 floors, only 1 lift that was functioning and the other lift was out of service throughout our stay, making sometimes waiting for lift over 5 minutes. The soundproofing of the hotel was also not very good. For the room we gotten, we can hear people walking past our room early in the morning and late at night (midnight) and people doing renovation or repair as early as 9am.
Overall it was a pleasant experience and highly recommended."

**Facilities:** This time, I got an upgraded room on the ninth floor, with a view of Nanjing East Road Pedestrian Street right outside the window. The room had a full selection of complimentary drinks. When ordering takeout, you just write your room number, and a robot delivers it right to your door.
**Hygiene:** The bedsheets had a 'one change per guest' tag, and the towels were in a sterilizer cabinet. Everything was exceptionally clean.
**Service:** 100 points! The front desk staff were super enthusiastic. They upgraded my room, gave me a complimentary kids' meal, and even gave me a souvenir when I checked out.

You just need to get a parking voucher from the front desk when you check out, which is very convenient. Every staff member, from the front desk to the housekeepers, greeted us warmly. As soon as we entered the lobby, the front desk staff offered us a glass of water. Seeing that we were a family of three, the front desk even helped us get a complimentary upgrade to a premium king room. The room isn't huge, but it's pretty good for being near Shanghai Railway Station. It's decorated very warmly, and the cleanliness and hygiene details are meticulously maintained, which is very reassuring. The kids also loved the robot, haha! 😄

Before my trip, I was worried about the complicated transportation from Pudong Airport to the city center. To my surprise, shortly after booking, I received a proactive call from the hotel staff. They gently inquired about my travel time and flight number, informed me about the free airport transfer service, and even detailed the vehicle model, waiting location, and contact number. They thoughtfully advised me to communicate with them if my flight was delayed. Upon arrival at Pudong Airport, the driver, with a kind smile, took my luggage. He engaged in conversation throughout the journey but never intruded. The car was clean and odor-free, and bottled water was provided, showing great attention to detail.
During my stay, every staff member, from the lobby reception to housekeeping, was warm and attentive. When checking in, the front desk staff patiently explained the hotel facilities and recommended nearby attractions, and even proactively upgraded me to a room with a better view. When passing in the hallway, the cleaning staff would greet me with a smile and make way. One evening, I called the front desk to ask about late-night supper options. Although the hotel does offer late-night supper, it ends at 11 PM, and I had missed it. The staff then thoughtfully recommended several reputable local eateries. What impressed me most was that whenever I needed assistance, the staff responded immediately, always speaking in a gentle and polite tone, without any perfunctory attitude. That kind of genuine service truly made me feel warm.
The hotel's facilities were also excellent. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, ensuring a high-quality sleep. The breakfast was varied, with fresh ingredients and delicious flavors. But the core advantage is still the service – the proactive Pudong Airport transfer service saved me the hassle of transfers, making the beginning of my trip exceptionally smooth without any coordination effort needed. The ubiquitous thoughtful service filled my entire stay with a sense of happiness.

The facilities are quite comprehensive; the lobby even has a nine-compartment convenience stand and provides free cookies and candies, which is a really thoughtful touch. The staff are all very enthusiastic and proactively offer hot towels, providing truly attentive service. They also kindly asked if I was going to Disneyland and mentioned a shuttle service. Unfortunately, I didn't go to Disneyland this time, but they said the shuttle is very good and takes about 20 minutes, which is super convenient. The lobby has a children's play area, which is another great perk. The room also includes a free laundry and drying service, which is incredibly considerate; they wash, dry, and return your clothes to your room. Overall, my stay was very pleasant, and I was satisfied with everything. The hotel's location is also very convenient for getting around, being close to Wanda Plaza, and the shuttle service is also a nice bonus.

We were just planning to drop off our luggage and head out, but to our surprise, the friendly staff at the front desk immediately asked his colleague if any rooms were ready. He also asked if we had eaten breakfast and promptly arranged for us to go to the buffet. The breakfast spread was incredibly diverse. By the time we finished eating and came back, the front desk attendant had already completed our check-in. This is my first time traveling where I've been able to check in half a day early, and even get a complimentary breakfast before checking in – I was so touched! And for such a great price, with breakfast included, it's really incredible value for money, especially in a city like Shanghai.

The Bund's 'Three-Piece Set' view is absolutely stunning, such a wonderful surprise. The hotel is very quiet. I've already recommended it to several friends, and even my local Shanghai friends are planning to go experience it – it's that amazing. Choosing this high-end hotel when traveling with kids was definitely the right decision.

It's great for relaxing while the kids play, making it hassle-free. Bob's service was also excellent; he upgraded our room, which was spacious and clean. We even got to see the Happy Valley fireworks unexpectedly! The hotel's buffet dinner was also good, saving us the trouble of going out to eat. The kids had a blast in the play area and didn't even want to leave.

YYangblueaixinxinWe chose this hotel for a weekend staycation with our kids. Having read some reviews beforehand, my expectations were met. It's an older five-star hotel, and some facilities, like the automatic toilet and hairdryer, could use an update.
On the positive side, any issues we had during our stay were addressed promptly. The room was clean, and the view was good. The hotel also called me before check-in to confirm my itinerary.
My main complaint is with the complimentary fruit upon check-in. The quality was poor. If you're going to offer fruit, it should be good quality, especially since it's something edible, right? After I complained, they quickly replaced it with fresh fruit. But honestly, guests shouldn't have to point these things out. If I hadn't said anything, would we have just had to rely on rotten fruit? Don't they check these things before guests arrive? Or is it just a robotic process of putting it in the room and calling it a day?
The homemade yogurt and strawberry milkshake at the executive lounge for breakfast were delicious, but the dessert section, particularly the cakes and juice, wasn't great. The soup dumplings (xiaolongbao) were also unremarkable.
However, it's clear the hotel values service. Amanda, who assisted us when we checked out, was very warm and enthusiastic.
