"The hotel was easy enough to find for a hotel the has a reception on the 4th floor and no signage out front. The location is prime for access to the pedestrian road. Lots of sightseeing and shopping in this area. Short drive to all the key tourist hotspots. Beds were comfortable, staff were great to foreigners like us, breakfast was fine. The only thing of notes was we had no luck using the dryers and resorted to hanging out our clothes in our room. But this is a minor issue and may be operator error. We would stay at the Yitel premium again."

"Overall it was pleasant. Breakfast was a bit of a miss but still tasty food. Staff was excellent and the room was top notch. We have been trying out under 400Yuan specials and this ranked 7 out of 10. Location is ok but it's not that close to the airport. It's a 30 minute DD or you can wait for their shuttle service on the 3rd floor of the airport. WeChat is the 13301609593 and that would have been really helpful to list at 1am arrival at PVG. Overall we enjoyed and would recommend this place. It's better than most and worth the price."

"The location is next to big mall, the subway is just near by and you can walk directly to the north bund from there. A big disadvantage that the hotel staff does not speak any English, and also the parking 🅿️ was included, but I had an issue to go in and out arguing with the park service guy. The room without window is not really cool comparing with the window one, so would never book that again as it little fresh air. In general, it’s clean and comfortable"

"Before I went, I asked a friend who recommended this place, saying the service was excellent and they offered a shuttle bus to Disneyland. She had stayed at the Pudong Airport branch too. Here's my experience: On the first day, I arrived close to 11 PM. On the way, I called the hotel front desk to ask if they could sign for my takeout. The front desk staff was very nice; they asked for my arrival time and told me I could still catch the hotel's late-night snack (9 PM - 11 PM). The most thoughtful detail was that after the conversation, the staff member would say, 'You can hang up first.' Upon arrival, a staff member accompanied me, helped me get my room card, pushed my luggage to my room, closed the windows, and turned on the air conditioning. In the morning, the hotel has three different shuttle times to Disneyland. I chose an early slot, but it was still a bit rushed, so I didn't have time to sit down for breakfast. The restaurant staff kindly packed it for me – so considerate! On the bus, a guide explained important tips and analyzed the day's park crowd, which was very reassuring and thorough, especially for us first-timers! If needed, there's even a guide service on the shuttle who can help you strategize your day to hit the rides efficiently. When I left in a hurry in the morning, my belongings were scattered everywhere. When I returned, I found my clothes neatly folded. Our toiletries and messy cosmetics were tidied up and placed neatly on the table. A foot bath basin was also prepared and placed in the room. The staff member assisting us was very attentive; she confirmed our plans for the next day, asking if we needed to book the shuttle for Disneyland, the subway station, or Pudong Airport. The shuttle departure times for Pudong Airport really put your mind at ease. The late-night snack was delicious too! Whether checking in or checking out, they always proactively help with luggage, and any issues are patiently resolved. I'm truly satisfied with this stay! It's perfect for both vacations and business trips – definitely give it a try, you won't be disappointed!"

"Exceptional Front Desk Service That Makes Every Stay Unforgettable[咖啡]During my recent stay at this outstanding property, I was thoroughly impressed by the excellent front desk service from the moment I stepped through the door until the day I checked out. The team of professional, warm, and attentive staff set an incredibly high standard for hospitality, making my entire experience smooth, comfortable, and truly welcoming. From check-in to check-out, every interaction with the front desk team was seamless and positive. The staff greeted me with genuine smiles and friendly greetings, taking the time to assist with my luggage, explain hotel amenities clearly, and answer all my questions patiently. They were extremely efficient, processing my check-in quickly without rushing me, and even offered thoughtful recommendations for local dining and attractions that greatly enhanced my trip. What stood out most was their proactive and personalized service. Whenever I needed assistance—whether it was extra toiletries, information about transportation, or a special request during my stay—the front desk team responded promptly and with a can-do attitude. They paid close attention to small details, remembering my preferences and making me feel valued as a guest rather than just a number. Even during busy periods, they remained calm, polite, and focused on providing top-tier service to every visitor. The professionalism and kindness of the front desk staff elevated my stay far beyond my expectations. They embody the true meaning of hospitality: caring, reliable, and dedicated to ensuring guests have a wonderful time. I never felt neglected or overlooked; instead, I felt well-cared for from start to finish.Without a doubt, this hotel’s front desk service is first-class and one of the best I have ever encountered. I will absolutely choose to stay here again on my next visit, and I wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone seeking a comfortable stay with exceptional, heartfelt service. QQigongziinmodouAfter a long day out, we checked into this hotel. The front desk staff was so thoughtful, offering a warm cup of water and a hot towel as we checked in – it was such a heartwarming gesture, especially since it was quite chilly outside. While checking in, they also told us about their free laundry service, which was incredibly helpful. The next day, I simply asked them to wash my clothes, and to my surprise, they were returned directly to my room, fresh, dried, and smelling wonderful! Even the housekeepers were amazing. Not only is the price incredibly affordable, but this hotel truly sets the bar for hospitality. When we came back in the evening, they even mentioned they had a late-night snack service available until 11 PM, featuring freshly prepared dishes that you could season to your liking – so thoughtful! It wasn't until I had their breakfast the next morning that I truly realized how incredible this hotel is, not just for its service, but also for the care put into everything they offer. The breakfast was spread across several sections, with various types of congee, breads, pastries, fruits, stir-fried dishes, cold dishes, and noodles. There were so many choices, it was almost overwhelming!

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, just a five-minute walk from Shanghai Railway Station. The area is relatively quiet, and across the road, you'll find Kerry Parkside and Kerry Everbright City, which have restaurants and even Thai massage. Shanghai Station metro is also convenient, only three stops to People's Square. The room was very new and clean, with plenty of water pressure in the shower. The bedding was also comfortable. There's a laundry room and a gym on the third floor. The lobby on the second floor offers complimentary afternoon tea daily, with tea, biscuits, and cookies. The breakfast variety and taste were good. The only drawback was that during the Chinese New Year, there were too many guests, and breakfast service struggled to keep up. Every morning felt like a battle. I'd suggest the hotel add more tables, staff, and utensils during busy periods to improve the experience. I've stayed at a few MANXINFU hotels, and this one has more guest rooms. Perhaps because it lacks a courtyard, there were no cats, which was a bit disappointing.

GGuest UserThe front desk staff were really great; one of the male staff even gave me hot mineral water and local specialties when I left. When I couldn't get the hot water to work in my room, a female staff member was quick to help, and they personally delivered my takeaway orders to my room. There's also hot coffee available in the lobby. The hotel's close proximity to the subway is another plus. The only downsides were having to get up early for breakfast to avoid queuing for a table, and there's only one elevator. The room was a bit small and the facilities were older, but it was very clean and quiet. Also, it looked like some of the toiletries had been used, but thankfully I hadn't brought many of my own. Overall, it was a comfortable stay.

GGuest UserThis hotel is located at the foot of Sheshan Mountain. The hotel's backyard garden is absolutely beautiful, with a sandy beach and a small petting zoo. If you're interested in seeing the animals, you can buy a ticket for 38 RMB per person, the same price for adults and children. There are also several other attractions nearby, like the Smurfs Theme Park, Sheshan, Happy Valley, Jigo Rabbit Hole, and Chenshan Botanical Garden – all just a short taxi ride away, usually the minimum fare. It’s incredibly convenient. Bob's service was proactive and enthusiastic; he basically granted every request. We visited just after the New Year's peak season, and seeing our family with both young and old, Bob kindly upgraded us to a lake-view room for free. He also provided us with detailed information about all the nearby attractions and the hotel's facilities. We were very satisfied with this family-friendly hotel. The breakfast was also excellent.

FfrancesingcA perfect stay, felt right at home! My experience at the Kerry Hotel Pudong, Shanghai, was absolutely wonderful – a definite five-star rating! From the hardware facilities and location to the meticulous service, everything was impeccable. It's truly the top choice for both business trips and leisure getaways. 🏨 Location & Transportation: The hotel's location is excellent, situated in the heart of Pudong, right next to Huamu Road Station on Metro Line 7, making transportation incredibly convenient. For those who frequently attend exhibitions, it's just a short walk to the Shanghai New International Expo Center – you can't beat that convenience! The Kerry Parkside shopping mall is right downstairs, offering a complete range of dining, entertainment, and shopping options, making an evening stroll very pleasant. 🛏 Room Environment: We stayed in a room facing Century Park, which offered a very open view. The floor-to-ceiling windows provided excellent natural light, and the room's scenery was truly refreshing. The room's interior decoration was modern and minimalist, spacious and bright. The bedding was soft and comfortable, the wet/dry separation in the bathroom was well-done, and the toiletries were of good quality. 👩💼 Excellent Service (Special Praise): This was truly the highlight of our stay! From the front desk to the concierge, every staff member greeted us with a smile, making us feel truly at home. A special thank you to the front desk staff for their efficient and professional check-in process, and for being so enthusiastic. This kind of meticulous care made us feel a warm, home-like welcome the moment we stepped into the hotel. 👨👩👧👦 Family & Facilities: I must commend the Kids' Adventure Zone here! With 700 square meters of play space and three different styles of slides, our child played there for a whole afternoon and didn't want to leave, truly liberating the parents. Kerry Sports is also super spacious with complete facilities, and the indoor heated pool has clean water, providing an excellent experience for guests. In summary, this was a perfect stay that exceeded our expectations. Thank you, Kerry Hotel Pudong, for the wonderful memories. Next time we're in Shanghai, this will definitely be our go-to choice! Highly recommended to everyone!

AAnonymous UserPros: 1. Upon arrival on check-in day, a doorman helped open the car door and took our luggage, escorting us to the front desk. Our bags were then delivered directly to the room by staff. 2. The hotel staff's service attitude was excellent, and the front desk handled everything professionally. 3. We booked a river-view king room and paid extra to upgrade to a Bund panoramic view king room (not sure if that's the exact name). I have to say, the view was absolutely stunning – exactly what everyone hopes for! You could see the Oriental Pearl Tower, the 'Three-piece Suit' (referring to the three tallest skyscrapers), the Huangpu River, and the entire Bund, all unobstructed. 4. The hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to Binjiang Park, perfect for a leisurely stroll anytime. The surrounding area has complete commercial amenities, offering plenty of options for dining, entertainment, and shopping. The hotel itself is a quiet oasis in a bustling area, perfectly aligning with Banyan Tree's resort positioning. 5. The room facilities were premium, and amenities were comprehensive: a circular bathtub, a double-basin vanity in the bathroom, a smart toilet, and a shower with three types of nozzles and excellent water pressure. 6. The room received complimentary bottled water and a small beverage daily. You can definitely cut down on ordering outside drinks when staying here; the in-room supply is enough. 7. The first round of soft drinks in the mini-bar was complimentary upon check-in. 8. Any issues we reported via phone were handled swiftly by the hotel. 9. The best perk during our stay was the breakfast, served from 7 AM until *12 PM*! Being able to sleep in and essentially save on lunch was fantastic. 10. The hotel's cleaning staff was prompt and even asked for our preferred cleaning time, which was very thoughtful. 11. On check-out day, I wasn't quite ready to leave and wanted to extend our check-out time. The front desk was busy with another guest's call and I couldn't reach them immediately. Afterwards, Ms. Minnie, the hotel's room division staff, promptly called me back and arranged for a late check-out until 1 PM. Her professionalism and quick response were commendable. Cons: 1. For a luxury hotel with this location and view, don't expect free room upgrades. Upgrades come with an extra charge, and having such an expectation can lead to a slight disappointment. 2. The hotel's check-in time is strictly 3 PM. If you arrive early, you'll either have to wait or go out to explore. 3. The room wasn't soundproof. I noticed a gap under the room door, and a noticeable space between the door and its frame. No wonder you could hear every little sound from the hallway, and conversely, anything happening in the room was audible from the corridor. This compromises privacy a bit, making it less suitable for couples or those (like me) who enjoy listening to music with speakers in the room, as it might disturb others. 4. Food delivery is a common issue and a typical drawback of older luxury hotels: deliveries aren't allowed directly to the room; guests have to go down to pick them up themselves. There are no smart robots for delivery. 5. Other snacks in the mini-bar are not complimentary. Given the price point of the rooms, the hotel could be a bit more generous. 6. The breakfast selection was quite limited, comparable to a buffet breakfast you'd find in a hotel costing around 100 RMB. For example, a few years ago, I stayed at the Grand Hyatt by the river in Changsha, Hunan, where the breakfast offered Chinese, Western, Japanese, and Korean options, plus seafood and sashimi – I could spend over an hour enjoying breakfast there. For the price point of the Banyan Tree on the Bund, this level of breakfast is genuinely a bit disappointing and should be upgraded.

GGuest UserWe brought our kids to Disneyland, and staying inside the park was super convenient. We usually stay at the main park hotel, but this was our first time at Toy Story Hotel for a three-day, two-night stay, and it totally exceeded our expectations. Let me share a few details: The hotel staff were all incredibly friendly. Even if we just passed them in the hallway, they'd proactively and warmly greet guests. Housekeeping was very thorough. Since we had kids and used a lot of bottled water, they thoughtfully replenished our supply with six bottles, which we really appreciated. Just as we were about to check out, I unexpectedly got my period. I urgently asked a lovely cleaning lady passing by in the hallway for help. After I gave her my room number, she said she'd go find some. In less than fifteen minutes, she actually delivered a small package! It allowed us to travel back home without worry, which was so heartwarming. I just wish I had caught her name! We were in room 16154, and I truly thank this kind-hearted and beautiful service staff member. The luggage mailing service at the front desk was also very efficient, and SF Express was reliable. It was such a smooth experience, and it significantly boosted our positive impression of the Toy Story Hotel.

__WeChat299757****I booked the Eastern Suburb Atour Hotel for a business trip as my company is right next to it. It's supposedly under the Hyatt brand, and indeed, major brands prove to be trustworthy. The room was spacious and roomy. When I checked in, I asked the front desk about nearby entertainment, and they recommended 'One Foot Garden' next door, which had a lovely, chic vibe. They have a 24-hour shuttle service; you just need to book it a day in advance, which is very convenient. Because I had meetings, the hotel even extended my check-out to 3 PM, which was very thoughtful.

DDuoshaowennuanduoshaoaiThe hotel is showing its age, but the mattress really stands out. I slept wonderfully in the room, and the recreation area with the pool was a plus. While many hotels use King Koil mattresses, the one at Jinmao might be a higher-end model because it was significantly more comfortable. I didn't feel dry or hear much noise at night, though the soundproofing is a bit average. The pool and hot springs definitely felt grand, luxurious, and stylish. However, the bathroom vanity is truly outdated, and the teacups felt cheap. There was hair on one of the bathrobes, which they replaced for us. Overall, my experience was rather ordinary.

MM2bkpev41****My stay at Guyiju Hotel far exceeded my expectations. From arrival to checkout, every detail demonstrated professional and attentive service, and I can't wait to share my satisfaction. Upon arrival, the front desk staff proactively helped with our luggage, warmly guiding us to the reception. We didn't have to lift a finger, which immediately eased our travel fatigue. The front desk service was particularly impressive; the staff were not only friendly but also incredibly efficient. The check-in process—verifying information, entering it into the system, and explaining hotel policies—took less than 5 minutes. When they learned it was our first time in the city, they even pulled out a printed guide to local attractions, detailing must-see spots and local specialty restaurants. They even thoughtfully marked peak travel times to avoid and recommended transportation methods. Their thoughtfulness instantly made us even more excited for our upcoming itinerary. Stepping into the room, my first impression was ”clean and comfortable.” The room was more spacious than I expected, with a well-planned layout that didn't feel cramped at all. The bedding was neatly made, soft, and skin-friendly, without any odd smells. Even the pillow height was just right. I fell into a deep sleep shortly after lying down, which was incredibly important after our long journey. The room facilities were also comprehensive: the air conditioning cooled and heated quickly with very little noise, the TV had clear picture quality and many channels, and there were thoughtful touches like bottled water and charging outlets, meeting all our daily needs. The bathroom was spotless—the floor and counter were immaculate, and the mirror was sparkling clean without any water stains. The toiletries were custom-branded by the hotel, with a fresh, elegant scent and rich lather, leaving my skin feeling moisturized after showering. The hot water supply was stable, with good water pressure, and the temperature could be precisely adjusted. A comfortable hot shower after a day of sightseeing washed away all the fatigue. Plus, the bathroom also provided disposable toiletries, showing great attention to detail. The hotel's breakfast was another delightful surprise. The breakfast restaurant was clean and bright, and all utensils were strictly disinfected, making us feel at ease. The breakfast spread was incredibly rich, offering a full range of Chinese and Western dishes. Chinese options included congee, buns, fried dough sticks, eggs, and various small dishes—the congee was soft and sweet, and the buns had fresh, juicy fillings. Western options like bread, milk, and coffee were also plentiful, and the coffee had a rich flavor. The staff promptly refilled food items to ensure every guest enjoyed fresh meals, and they actively inquired about our needs during dining, providing exceptional service. Furthermore, the hotel's location is excellent, just 3.1 kilometers from the subway, making it convenient to reach various attractions and shopping areas. There are also supermarkets, convenience stores, and restaurants nearby, so daily shopping and dining are hassle-free. The surrounding environment is quiet, completely free from external noise, offering a truly pleasant stay. Overall, my experience at Guyiju Hotel was perfect. The service, room, dining, and location were all impeccable. If I visit this city again, I will undoubtedly choose this hotel and recommend it to any friends planning a trip!
