The breakfast has western and eastern options. Personally I think it is great for a slower day when you are just lazy to eat out, for my stay i mostly order ******* for my meals.
The location is so good, if your bag isnt heavy or too big, just carry it to exit 15 of people’s square. Or the exit near b1 in raffle city, short stairs. For general exit, exit 14 is very convenient just walk straight then its hotel. The location is also very comfortable to get didi.
I am traveling with my elderly father, so convenient is my priority and this hotel does not disappoint!"

"The front desk allowed me to check in 2 hours early, which was a huge plus. They also kindly gave me a free upgrade to a larger double room with a window. The subway is close by, and it's very convenient to hail a cab or have one pick you up right at the entrance."

Friendly and professional female staff helped with the check-in service. Fluent English and great customer and hospitality. I believe that was a superb first impression and gives a hotel a credible outlook. So thank you to that staff.

Large and spacious gym for a variety. I highly recommend to guests to be flexible on their gym workout hours. I normally go to the gym when it opens, 7am and usually there are 2-4 people.
That’s probably enough space to allow rotation since the weightlifting area can be a little small for more than 2 men using dumbbells. But spacious for 4 people on cardio treadmills and 2 in the weightlifting area.
Laundry
It is a laundry self service, it’s very handy and efficient. Expect a lot of people using it so make you to time correctly when. There is an over 8 washing machine and 8 dryers so be smart with your timing since going back and forth via lift is a long 2-5 minutes walk.
Restaurant
Unfortunately I haven’t tried their breakfast nor dinner so can’t comment on this.
Hotel Lobby
Spacious and stylish, there is an area for charging your phone and a table for any desk work.
There is a cute small garden outside like a patio where you can enjoy small drinks and a more discreet chit chat.
Room
Spacious and clean. Modern and clean floors. Cleaning staff are doing a wonderful job and super polite when passing by the corridors. So don’t be afraid to say hello or good morning.

Overall, I do recommend this hotel due to its location, gym and laundry facilities. The only improvements I could see that may help is elevators can become quite busy, sometimes stairs may be helpful for those who are on 3rd and 2nd floor who can quickly go to 1st floor. Not a major issue, just stairways can come handy in this situation."

"I chose to stay at Mercure for my trip to Shanghai during the National Day holiday. I had a great experience at a Mercure in Xi'an before, and this time, the Mercure Shanghai Yu Garden store was just as perfect. First off, the service was excellent, especially the young lady at the front desk who checked us in. She was outstanding – quick, efficient, and very fast at handling the check-in process. She was also cheerful, pretty, and incredibly warm and thoughtful. Knowing we had booked two different room types, she thoughtfully and diligently tried her best to arrange them on the same floor for us. Thank you! The hotel rooms were very clean, and the bedding was spotless, which made our stay comfortable. I pay extra attention to cleanliness since I'm traveling with children, so this was a huge plus. The breakfast was also very good, and the restaurant environment was pleasant (forgot to take photos of the restaurant). The tea station on the first floor was also very cozy. The only minor issue was that the scent in the lobby was too strong; my friend, who has rhinitis, found it a bit unbearable, and even I, without rhinitis, found it quite uncomfortable. However, I mentioned it to the front desk, and they assured me they would report it. Overall, it's a great hotel, and I'll definitely choose Mercure again for future stays. "The room felt very modern and smart. I saw a welcome message with my name on the TV screen, and there were real-time updates on laundry and drying status. I originally chose another hotel, but then I saw the unique layout of this hotel's rooms – I liked that the bathroom and bed were in separate spaces. I specifically switched from a hotel 15 minutes from the airport to this one, which was a 30-minute drive, and it didn't disappoint."

AAnonymous UserWe had a wonderful stay at the hotel. It offers great value for money with high-end, upscale interior design and very comprehensive facilities. There's even a banquet hall and a massage parlor on the 2nd floor, making the stay extremely comfortable and relaxing. It's only 6.8 km away from Disneyland and just 500 meters from the nearest subway station. They also provide a very well-scheduled round-trip shuttle service. All in all, I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area. The breakfast is delicious and offers incredible value, and the staff are beyond amazing—so friendly. The rooms are fantastic and highly recommended. I'll definitely recommend it to my friends next time. Plus, there's a 24-hour supermarket right across the street and free parking available!

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is unbeatable – right by the train station and subway entrance, practically stepping out onto the street. It makes getting anywhere incredibly convenient. The room itself was a bit on the small side, feeling a little cramped. However, the front desk service was quite good; the staff were helpful and responded quickly.
Now, for the catering service – a definite thumbs down! Seriously, a big thumbs down! Especially when the auntie making the wontons told me it would be 5 minutes, but when I went back 10 minutes later, she said they weren't ready. And then, when they were finally done, she gave two portions to the guy next to me first, saying he'd been waiting longer. But I had ordered mine 10 minutes ago! She even suggested I eat something else and not wait specifically for the wontons. I was truly fuming 😠😠😠😠😠. My family had already finished their rice noodles long before that.
What's more, the catering staff were quite careless when clearing things, constantly bumping into people or hitting them with their carts. For a hotel with a star rating, I imagine this isn't their first time hosting so many guests. Or perhaps, they shouldn't be so inexperienced!

YYeziaiboluoI've had the Le Méridien Sheshan on my radar for a while, and this National Day holiday I finally got to experience this classic, top-notch family-friendly hotel. Even though the hotel is quite old, its location is exceptional, nestled at the foot of Sheshan mountain. Every room has a balcony with great views and fresh air; sitting out there is simply refreshing. The room interiors are also very well maintained. Outside the room, there's everything you could need, no need to go to any paid parks. You can just relax at the hotel; the kids will never get bored, and adults can enjoy a truly relaxing vacation. During the National Day holiday, there were quite a few weddings being held, and parking was free. Plus, it's very convenient for driving to all the major attractions in Songjiang. A special shout-out to Bob for the excellent service – proactive, smooth communication, and thoughtful. The kids have already said they want to bring their grandparents back for another stay next time.

YYoYo_hetaobushibaoA month before the National Day holiday, I started planning our family trip with our 2.5-year-old. He's not really suited for crowded tourist spots, and as low-energy parents, we're not up for intense 'special forces' style parenting either. So, I opted for a 'staycation,' which is super popular on Xiaohongshu (xhs). I'd bookmarked several highly-rated family-friendly hotels, and Pudong Kerry stood out as the most satisfying from my research. It offered family rooms, a kids' playground, and direct access to a mall – incredibly convenient! I quickly booked a stay on Ctrip, full of anticipation.
We checked in on the evening of the 3rd. The front desk lady was very polite and answered all my questions in detail. When I asked if an additional adult could accompany my child into the playground (the package included entry for one adult and one child, but I was worried I wouldn't have enough energy and we'd need to take turns looking after him 🤣), she agreed without hesitation. I'm really grateful for that, and it proved to be a lifesaver in the playground – we truly couldn't keep up with our child! He had an amazing time, and we parents were exhausted.
Upon entering the room, we immediately saw the special tent, a highlight of the family suite. Forget kids, even I, a 30+ adult, wanted to crawl in and hang out for a bit! For the two days we stayed, this little tent became his 'secret base.' When we were relaxing in the hotel, he'd be in there watching Qiaohu (Chuckle) or playing with his toys. The hotel also gifted him a little kangaroo plushie. Wow, it completely won him over and became his 'best buddy.' Every night before bed, he'd ask, 'Where's my best buddy?' Hahaha, the innocence of a child really touches your heart every single moment. The kangaroo T-shirt was a bit big, but that's fine; he can wear it when he's older and we can come back to the Kerry Hotel again.
During check-in, the bed rail and children's toiletries were all prepared, which was very thoughtful. The first round of the mini-bar was free, and they even provided cookies, which tasted pretty good.
The only suggestion I have is that the bed rail felt a bit unstable. At the head of the bed, it was fine because of the cabinet propping it up, but the foot of the bed felt loose; if you nudged it slightly, it felt like it would fall. Later, I was worried he might roll off in the middle of the night if the rail gave way, so I stuffed pillows along the side of the rail, which solved the problem.
Hotel breakfast is on the 1st floor. Booking a family room includes two breakfasts. The breakfast spread was extensive, with Chinese and Western options, noodles, wontons, bread, and pastries – everything you could want, and it all tasted good. Next to the kids' playground was a gym, which looked very good with plenty of equipment, but I didn't get to experience it as I was with my child.
This trip was very satisfying, and I look forward to returning to the Kerry Hotel to unlock new experiences.

GGuest UserLocated on the 71st floor, the room was very high up, spacious, and spotless, complete with full toiletries. Looking out the window, you get a great view of nearby and distant skyscrapers, with Tomson Riviera and the Shanghai Tower right in front of you. Enjoyed a lavish Chinese and Western breakfast on the 56th floor while taking in the high-rise view. Experienced the pool on the 57th floor with the exact same amazing view—I had the whole place to myself! The pool looks a bit small, but it's 1.6 meters deep and very clean. I swam for over an hour, cycling through four different swimming strokes all by myself. I especially loved underwater swimming at the bottom of the pool—it felt amazing! The hot spring pool and steam sauna were also fantastic. The service was warm and attentive, and I will definitely stay here again. Even my neighbors want to come after hearing about my experience. The price was super reasonable right after the Golden Week holiday.

The room had large floor-to-ceiling windows, was clean and spacious, and the facilities were well-maintained. The front desk staff and hotel butler provided meticulous and thoughtful service. The indoor circular pool was huge; soaking in the pool and admiring the bustling night view of Lujiazui outside the window completely washed away travel fatigue. The hotel has an observation deck on the top floor, and the complimentary travel photography was excellent. From the second-floor corridor of the hotel, you can walk along the river to The Bund, enjoying the gentle breeze and the vibrant cityscape of Shanghai. I was very satisfied with this trip!👍

GGuest UserDuring the May Day holiday, I specifically brought my child to visit Shanghai Wild Animal Park. After comparing many hotels in advance, I'm so glad I chose Guyiju Hotel! Traveling with kids, the last thing you want is a tiring and complicated experience. This hotel is perfect for family trips, from its location, environment, and hygiene to its service. The overall experience was absolutely fantastic, so I must give it a well-deserved five-star rating!
The location is truly unbeatable. It's incredibly close to Shanghai Wild Animal Park, just a 10-15 minute drive away. This means no early mornings and long commutes, and my child didn't get restless during the car ride. The hotel even offers a thoughtful complimentary shuttle service, dropping guests off at the zoo promptly at 9:00 AM and picking them up at 5:00 PM. This saved us the hassle of finding parking ourselves and made traveling with a child so much easier and more convenient. The surrounding area is also very well-equipped. Within walking distance, there are supermarkets, snack shops, convenience stores, and various restaurants. You can easily buy snacks, milk, and baby food that your child loves at any time. All daily essentials are taken care of in one go, meaning you don't need to carry a huge bag of supplies when you go out with your child. It's also very close to the subway, making it convenient to explore the city center later on.
The hotel's overall environment is quiet and elegant, with simple yet cozy decor. The lobby is clean, bright, and well-ventilated, without any noisy or bustling atmosphere, which is ideal for children to rest and play. The public areas are meticulously cleaned, spotless, and there are even resting chairs, so kids can sit down and take a break when they get tired. The whole atmosphere feels comfortable and reassuring.
The room's cleanliness was exceptionally good. Every corner of the room, under the bed, and the vanity area were spotless, free of any strange odors or dust. The bed was very comfortable, with a mattress that was just the right balance of soft and firm, so my child, after a day of playing, could lie down and sleep soundly. The bathroom had a wet and dry separation, and the floor was treated with anti-slip material, so I didn't have to worry about my child slipping and falling. The attention to detail extends to the room facilities, which are also very child-friendly. The smart lighting and automatic curtains are easy to operate, so you don't have to walk back and forth to switch things on and off, making it more convenient to care for your child. The toiletries are mild and non-irritating, which gave me peace of mind using them for my child. The Wi-Fi speed was also very fast, so my child could watch cartoons occasionally and adults could use their phones without any lag.
What I want to praise the most is the hotel's service. The front desk staff were incredibly gentle and patient. Check-in was quick, and they proactively and thoughtfully recommended a touring route for the zoo, suitable activities for children, and reminded us of important tips for traveling with kids. They even sent a fruit platter to our room. Any request we had, the front desk responded promptly. When my child temporarily needed hot water or a little help, the staff enthusiastically assisted, showing genuine warmth and kindness that made us feel very welcome.

After a hearty breakfast, we were full of energy to explore the zoo. The hotel also has vending machines with drinks, snacks, and instant noodles, so even if you're too lazy to go out at night, you can easily get supplies. It's truly convenient when traveling with kids.

It offers excellent value for money, a quiet environment, impeccable hygiene, and warm service. Its proximity to the zoo and the shuttle service make it a true hidden gem for family trips. This May Day trip to Shanghai Wild Animal Park was so easy and enjoyable because we chose Guyiju Hotel. My child had a great time, and the adults weren't exhausted. I sincerely recommend this hotel to all parents bringing their children to Shanghai Wild Animal Park or Disneyland. Next time we visit Shanghai with our child, I will definitely choose to stay at Guyiju Hotel again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

GGuest UserThis is my second stay here, and it's definitely a great value-for-money option near Disney. The room was huge, and they even provided complimentary snacks and drinks in the fridge. After a whole day at Disney, it was a perfect place to rest. Next door is 'One Foot Garden', so on the second day, we just took the kids there to play on the slides and in the sand. The adults enjoyed the breeze by the lake and had some tea. This time, I was a bit lazy and also ate at the hotel; the set meal was really good value, and the scrambled eggs were incredibly delicious.
