Batam Hotels with Infinity Pools

"I stayed at this hotel once about 15 years ago. Back then, the property was still relatively new, although I remember the room cleanliness was already not up to standard. Returning this time, it is clear that the hotel has not been well maintained. Signs of aging can be seen everywhere, from rusty bathroom light fixtures to damaged toilet seats. Unfortunately, it was raining during my stay, and the bathroom ceiling was leaking. When I checked into the room, it was obvious that the bathroom had not been properly cleaned, as there was hair all over the floor. One of the rooms did not even have basic towels provided. The hotel grounds and surroundings are beautiful, which makes it even more disappointing that the property has not been properly maintained. To make matters worse, I was woken up in the morning by ants crawling on my bed. Overall, the environment is lovely, but the lack of maintenance and cleanliness significantly affected my stay."

"Very friendly & warm service from this hotel all staff, we felt very pleasant & have a wonderful time during our stay 3days. They give us free hightea & free pastries during our stay and it’s delicious. The buffet breakfast have many variety of choices & very delicious (a must try) location is fantastic as next block is Grand Batam Mall, many restaurant & shop just 5min walking distance. Also many good massage center nearby. By grab go Nagoya hill mall or love seafood & etc .. all within few minute reach. We Will definitely stay again when we back Batam 🤠"

"First time to Batam, hotel location is next to the mall which you may get what you need from mall and shops nearby. The hotel breakfast had variations choice and good. Overall the experience staying in this hotel was great. There is a swimming pool at Level 2 and and massage center inside hotel with reasonable price. If you are coming over follow those youtuber and online recommendations, you are a bit remote and need to go by car. This place may be good for business traveller but for backpacker or light traveller, you may choose to stay near the attractions where you can reach within walking distance."

"Overall, really really satisfied with this place! Booked this hotel with my family of 4. Firstly, the room we book is definitely big enough of all of us :) To be able to have dinner on a table, and having 2 toilets, is really great! SUPER big shoutout to the hotel breakfast - it is one of the best I've ever seen. Absolutely huge, and have probably everything you may expect of a southeast asian breakfast :) Regarding location, yes there are not a lot of things you can do within walking distance, but there is a small mini mart just 3 minutes walk away if you want to grab some snacks or drinks. They also provide shuttle bus service to some selected malls - which is great! We did use this service to Grand Batam Mall :) You will have to inform the concierge beforehand just so they can make sure the mini bus will have enough seats for everyone. However, a slight disappointment happened after - after we arrived at Grand Batam Mall, the driver asked if we would like a ride back later (which is so kind of him), I told him I'm not so sure yet - if I'll need one, I'll send a Whatsapp to their front desk. 30 minutes before I decided to book the mini bus back, I sent a Whatsapp which no one replied, so ended up booking a gojek back to the hotel 30 minutes later. Which makes me wonder if what was the point of the hotel having a Whatsapp haha! It would have been nice if someone replied, even if rejecting me for last minute booking, which I am totally fine with :) Nonetheless, thats the only small point I think the hotel can improve on. The rest of the staff are SOOOO friendly!!! The facilities in the hotel (gym, pool, restaurants) are also clean, looks new, and high end as these are shared facilities with the neighbouring Wyndham Panbil (5 stars). I will 100% recommend everyone to come here, and I would love to return again some day ^^"

"The location is great, close to the beach, and the price is right. This time it was a business trip. I chose the apartment for half a day because of its location and cost-effectiveness. It is very fast to get to other places in Batam. The key is that the ferry terminal is next door, which is very convenient to Singapore."

"Hotel is conveniently located next to Harbour Bay ferry terminal and Harbour Bay shopping mall. However it is a distance away from all the malls that people usually head to, so had to spend a bit more on the local transport. They have transport services to K3 Shopping mall (designated timing) and also to the nearby places (those within 3 minutes drive away type) - example Wey Wey Seafood. Bath towels are provided, would be good if they do provide hand towels too. Overall a very comfortable hotel stay if you enjoy the peace and quiet away from the shopping malls."

"We chose Wyndham Panbil due to its proximity to the nature reserve and also the view of the lake. What we like: - the view of the lake, at times we can see big birds or eagles flying across the lake - it's proximity to the nature reserve. When we signed up for the hike, they had someone who picked us up from the lobby to the nature reserve and also back after that - the service and the staff. All smiles all the time and very polite. They do not over promise and was upfront if they can or cannot fulfill our request. They go around asking for feedback on how to improve their service. - they have a bakery and cafe selling local food nearby. The bakery opens from 10am onwards. There is also a supermarket nearby that sells all the essentials and even a butchery i guess for people staying at the apartment. What was not ideal: - though the lake is awesome the front road below can be noisy at times. Not a deal breaker cos we all slept through the night. Though there was some jam the night before hari raya other than that all the other evenings or nights the traffic was okay and we were not caught in any jam. - the swimming pool water looks a bit murky esp the indoor one which I believe is the jacuzzi - not much facilities for the kids except the pool - the interior of the hotel looks dated, noted some upgrading happening. The flooring of the room had some slabs that were spoiled. - they only had rain shower so it can be challenging for me to shower my child without getting myself wet Other than that I think the service from the staff really made up for the limitations for the facilities."

"Very good for staycation. Quiet, Good View, Fresh Air and Swimming pool accessible, Near to the Tiger beach and the hotel provide shuttle service to there, Rooms are clean but the floor is dusty.  Overall, it was a good choice and satisfied though it’s a bit far from the city."

"The owner said Tv had only netflix and youtube. And no Netflix account. But when i adjust the antenna. There's normal tv channel available. She wont entertain calls. Only whatsapp test. Hate this type of people"
