"Fantastic hotel! I booked a room without a window, however, they upgraded me to a beautiful room with a window by a quiet alley. The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. You're able to do laundry, which was convenient and there is a 24/7 service offering food and drinks, which was great when I arrived after my long flight. The location couldn't be better: it's right next to Qianmen-Street where you will find lots of restaurants and two metro stations nearby. The east gate to the Forbidden City is just a few stops away and the north gate of the Temple of Heaven is a 25 min walk away. "Rooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable. Staffs were friendly and helpful too. There was free drinks and snacks at the lobby (1st & 8th floor). Location is very very convenient to the main attractions. We paid one day for the breakfast buffet, food is great, lots of variety and there's even a noodle station. However there are some improvements to be made to the rooms. The room we were assigned are dusty and poor wall maintenance. There are stains and broken wallpapers. The door and shower facilities seems old too. Perhaps other room type are fine."

"Beijing was the first stop in my trip to China with my dad. And this hotel set the bar pretty high for the rest of the hotels in the trip. The place itself was really nice it all looked very modern with some interesting touches. The room was really good too very spacious with a sofa, table, big bathroom, the only downside is that we asked for 2 single beds but instead got a double one but the rest of the amenities of the hotel made up for it. I have to mention the gym, wow it was really good equipped, very spacious and amazing views, even though I was walking around Beijing all day I couldn’t wait to go to the hotel to go to the gym and pool. The pool was quite big, although I expected more rooftop it was closed because we went in march which makes sense. The only downside I would say is the location, it is a bit far from the main attractions and railway stations, but getting Didi in Beijing was so cheap I can’t complain. I also found that the city is so comfortable to go around cycling. It was an amazing experience and you can rent the bikes everywhere with Alipay or WeChat. The hotel was also in a good area to get good food from anywhere, if you want Chinese or European food it is close to really good restaurants. While also having fast chains and breaks fast spots nearby."

The hotel is located on Xianyukou Street in Dongcheng District, Beijing. It is adjacent to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, Zhongshan Park, as well as Qianmen Pedestrian Street and Dashilan Commercial Street. The surrounding area is convenient for subway and bus travel. During leisure time, you can go for a walk in the nearby Dashilan and Xianyukou, stroll through the traditional old brand hutongs with a history of over a hundred years, and take a tram to explore the night view at Qianmen Pedestrian Street. The hotel is mainly designed in a palace style, with wireless internet coverage in the hotel rooms and public areas. The rooms are equipped with 24-hour hot water, closed-circuit television, central air conditioning, toiletries, slippers, etc., which are comfortable, warm and tidy. The hotel staff will provide warm and thoughtful service, making guests feel at home. It is definitely an ideal choice for your business trip.

"Staff was very nice they‘ve helped us to book an appointment for Tianmen Square since the WeChat Miniprogram did not work. We were also able to send a parcel to the hotel. However, our room wasn‘t cleaned very well. We found cigarette stumbs and ashes behind our bathtub on the first day. We‘ve removed the stumbs ourselves but the ashes remained throughout our entire stay. In the evening there was a strong smell of cigarettes coming from the bathroom. Also the rooms are poorly soundproofed, you could hear everythin. The big construction side in front of our window did not make it better. Breakfast is not served in the hotel you‘ll get vouchers for a chinese restaurant around the corner. If you prefer a coffee in the morning you should go elsewhere since this type of breakfast is very traditional."

GGuest UserOverall very good stay. Top-quality amenities and excellent front-desk service. The breakfast buffet was the only disappointment — congee, soy milk and hot dishes were barely warm (close to room temperature) despite being on heat stoves. When I mentioned it to the kitchen manager, the initial response was “it’s clearly not cold,” which felt like denying the issue. The next day, front desk staff proactively explained that some warming stations were broken and couldn’t be fixed during Chinese New Year, and they kindly gave me a small amenity gift as apology. If the kitchen staff had openly acknowledged the temperature problem from the start instead of denying it, I would have fully forgiven it. Will happily stay here again.

GGuest UserThis hotel was absolutely stunning. It is located in the Hutongs in the center of Beijing. Very close to two metro stations and close enough (in Beijing terms) to Tiananmen square and the Temple of Heaven. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. And if you have time, doing the photoshoot in the traditional clothing in the hotel and surrounding Hutongs is a great experience.

GGuest UserThis stay was a last-minute decision because my flight was cancelled that night. We're not familiar with Beijing at all and it was so late, we didn't know which hotel to choose. Luckily, I've always liked the HUAZHU brand, and I figured it wouldn't disappoint. The overall experience after checking in was excellent! First, the service was incredibly thoughtful. From my initial phone call to checking in at the front desk, the staff were all very enthusiastic and efficient. Second, although the room was small, the facilities were very new, with plenty of power outlets and ports. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the water pressure in the bathroom was great. I particularly loved the 'hand hand' wooden smoky-scented toiletries. The soundproofing in the room was also excellent. Additionally, the hotel's location is very convenient, especially for an overnight layover. It's right by the Airport Express and Sanyuanqiao subway station, just about 200 meters from the exit. There's also a large shopping center, Phoenix City, nearby with many high-quality restaurants. The only minor issue might be that the heating was a bit too high and couldn't be adjusted down. But considering the city, location, convenience, and both soft and hard amenities, I can easily give it 5 stars! Highly recommended!

GGuest UserOur hotel room is really great! It's about a 500-meter walk from Beijing West Railway Station, making it super convenient. The room was very clean, and the mattress was incredibly comfortable. The central air conditioning worked perfectly. There was even a cute little kung fu tea set with loose leaf tea (not those flimsy tea bags!), which was perfect for unwinding after a long journey. When we ran out of the complimentary bottled water, a quick call had the delivery robot bringing more right to our door – so convenient! There's also a thoughtful full-length mirror. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, plenty of hot water, and a great hairdryer. All in all, fantastic value for money and a very pleasant stay!

CCharlesjuranbeizhanyongThis is my Nth stay at this hotel. I've been staying here since 2017 when I applied for my US visa, and for the past few years, it's been my go-to when transferring to high-speed rail after returning to China. First, the pros: the rooms are spacious, it offers great value for money, has a swimming pool, and the rooms even have bathtubs – it's hard to find these amenities in hotels at a similar price point. It's an established star-rated hotel, and it's very close to Beijing Chaoyang High-Speed Railway Station and not far from Capital Airport. You can also get a late check-out until 2 PM (they've improved this significantly; it wasn't great back in 2017). The service is also very good. Now for the cons: being an older hotel, the facilities are relatively dated. In the room I stayed in this time, the bathroom door wouldn't close, but since I was alone, it wasn't a big deal. The next day, when I took a shower, only hot water came out, and I couldn't adjust it to cold. However, I was in a rush to pack and check out, so I just quickly finished my shower without contacting staff – I'm sure they could have resolved it. A 500 deposit is required upon check-in, even if you book through platforms like Trip.com or Fliggy, credit-based waiver isn't an option. Once, I didn't have a domestic card, but they accepted Japanese Yen as a deposit, and I was able to check in smoothly. I saw staff doing a live stream in the lobby; I assume booking through Douyin might be even cheaper.

YYuyeyoumingAfter looking at three or four hotels, I decided to stay at the Grand Millennium Beijing for my trip to Beijing, mainly because of its proximity to the subway, making it convenient for getting around. The hotel itself is quite grand, and while the service is very traditional, it gets the job done. I contacted the hotel in advance and asked the front desk to book a room on the highest floor within the same price range, with a view of the CCTV Tower. They managed to arrange all of this, which I was very pleased with. However, the hotel is a bit old-fashioned; if you order takeout, there's no robot or staff to deliver it, so you have to go down and pick it up yourself. The room itself is quite spacious and also has a traditional feel. One quirky thing is the power outlets: one nightstand has an outlet, but the other doesn't. This made it impossible to charge my phone while lying in bed, so I had to go to the supermarket the next day to buy an extension cord. Also, the power outlets are quite old-fashioned, not the new national standard, and many of them are loose. The bathroom has two showerheads, a main one and a side one. I assume the side one is for people sitting down, but one thing they might not have considered is where to put clean clothes for changing. If you put them inside, they'll get wet during the shower. If you put them outside, isn't it a bit awkward to walk out naked? The breakfast buffet at the hotel is quite good, with a wide variety of dishes. The mini hash browns, in particular, taste exactly like the ones sold at McDonald's and KFC. Finally, I want to especially thank the bespectacled housekeeper on the 24th floor. Her service was excellent, she was very polite, and the room was cleaned impeccably. She left a particularly good and warm impression. I didn't take many photos of the hotel, so consider these for reference. Also, the Hema Supermarket is about 600-700 meters west of the hotel, which is convenient for buying things.

The management clearly puts care into their guests’ experience, offering practical accommodations at an affordable price, giving travelers a reassuring place to stay. The location is convenient, close to Dongsi Metro Station and within walking distance of Wangfujing Pedestrian Street. The building itself is old, but it carries a certain charm and character of its own. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly place to stay, this hotel is definitely worth considering. The front desk staff are also warm and helpful, always ready to assist.
