As soon as we stepped out of the car, the doorman greeted us with a smile and helped with our luggage. Check-in at the front desk was super fast. The moment I opened the room door, I was stunned – outside the floor-to-ceiling windows was the shimmering blue Yalong Bay, with sand so white it looked like scattered silver. The salty, tropical sea breeze wafted into the room; even just feeling the breeze became a pleasure.
The breakfast selection was incredibly rich, with Hainan noodles and Qingbuliang (sweet, cooling soup) readily available. Sitting by the window, eating and watching the sea, my good mood for the entire day was awakened 🏝️. The hotel's private beach wasn't crowded, with plenty of loungers to choose from. In the afternoon, we strolled along the coastline; the sand was so soft, it felt like walking on cotton. In the evening, we could enjoy an iced cocktail at the beach bar, watching the sunset paint the sea orange – the ambiance was absolutely perfect.
The service was truly exceptional, always responsive and very thoughtful. Whenever we returned from our outings, the room was immaculately tidy. Every detail contributed to a comfortable stay. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Sanya! Highly recommend it to anyone looking to relax and enjoy the sea ✨."

"Facilities: In the second room, the bedside lamp flickered as if it wasn't getting enough power. The fan in the first room was noisy.
Hygiene: The first room had a lot of ants, so we couldn't leave any sweet food open.
Environment: The view outside the window was absolutely stunning, arguably the best sea view I've ever seen from a room in Sanya.
Service: Butler Annie's service attitude was excellent, and she was very efficient. She promptly handled our requests regarding facilities and changing rooms.
Dining: We had one of the worst dinners ever. Apart from the sea view, both the food and the environment were disappointing. The steak and pizza were all dry and tough, and there were many mosquitoes around the BBQ. It was a very tiring meal; we only ate a few bites and left. It definitely wasn't worth the 288 price tag."

"Upon check-in, I met Kiki Yang, the Guest Services Manager. She helped me register my car plate and proactively added me on WeChat to ask about my stay experience. All my feedback was addressed. The room she arranged had a great location and was spacious and bright. The hotel is large with a Chinese architectural style, giving it a nostalgic feel. There are even cute little rabbits and ducks in one corner of the hotel. The downside is that the air conditioning was poor and couldn't be adjusted, with the room temperature constantly showing 24 degrees Celsius. I hope this can be improved."

My trip to InterContinental Sanya Haitang Bay this time was made incredibly warm by housekeeper Winne's thoughtful service throughout – truly a top-notch experience! 🌊
From the moment I checked in, Winne followed up on everything, proactively communicating my needs, and handled the check-in process quickly and efficiently. The room offered a stunning ocean view, with a 5-meter floor-to-ceiling window directly facing the glassy sea, and a huge balcony with a bathtub that was incredibly therapeutic for bathing while enjoying the view. High-end amenities like the Dyson hairdryer and BYREDO toiletries further highlighted the attention to quality.
Winne's service was impeccable: she proactively helped with reservations, responded promptly, and fulfilled every request. She even thoughtfully prepared welcome fruits, adding a touch of ceremony, making the entire stay effortless and heartwarming.
The hotel's private beach boasted fine sand and was secluded and quiet, and the lawn was perfect for taking amazing photos. The duty-free shop was just a few minutes' walk away, making it convenient for both shopping and relaxation. Dining at the underwater restaurant was incredibly dreamy, with a mermaid show and a fantastic seafood buffet.
The environment, service, and dining were all excellent. With housekeeper Winne's professional and warm service, this is undoubtedly the best choice for a vacation in Haitang Bay! It's already on my re-book list, and I'll definitely be looking for Winne again next time! 💯

LL RomanThe hotel is beyond expectations. It is located in Xiaodonghai Bay. We were vacationing with our daughter of 1.4 years old. We went for complete privacy, silence and relaxation. The hotel consists only of villas, there are about 30 of them, there are no building rooms, which ensures privacy and silence. The territory is large, incredibly well maintained and very beautiful. Beauty is in the details. The villa itself is well planned and consists of a main house and a small additional one. We had lunch here when we ordered something in the room. The personnel brought a high chair for my daughter and it stayed here during all days of our vacation. Interestingly, they don't just bring food to the room, but also serve the table. It's nice.
In general, the staff is as attentive as possible, this is reflected in the little things. The breakfast was included in the accommodation, so we either went to the hotel restaurant for lunch and dinner (only Thai and Chinese cuisine, but there is a children's menu and we ordered something for our daughter), and something Thai for ourselves. Everything is cooked very tasty and of high-quality. It was at this hotel that I first tasted the local Hainan dessert - cold coconut milk soup with fruits and cereals. I'm not a big fan of Chinese food in general, but I really liked this soup! We also ordered food directly to the villa through the Chinese app Elema (饿了么), which is in Chinese. We didn't go to street restaurants. In general, in China, the delivery of ready-made food is incredibly developed, you can order anything and anywhere. If we needed a taxi, we ordered it through the Chinese Didi (弟弟）app. But we didn't want to leave the villa and the hotel at all, we spent most of our time by the pool. Usually we need the sea, but this time it was so good to chill out at the villa that we somehow didn't need the sea). Moreover, we have a little daughter, and so far it has been more convenient to swim with her in our own pool than at sea.
We used Alipay to pay everywhere. During our stay, we visited the spa several times, took various treatments (body scrubs, various massages), we really liked everything. They do it efficiently, I recommend it. I also recommend trying small drinking coconuts in Hainan - they are divine! The very taste of a rich bounty)). Look for small brownish colors, no more than 10 cm in diameter, it has a very rich thick sweet taste of coconut. About the sea: if you are looking for active swimming in the sea, the hotel may not be suitable. It's very shallow here (that's okay) and after about 100 meters, where it's still shallow, there's an underwater breakwater. Therefore, if you swim, you will just bump into it. Because of this, there are no waves in the bay. But there are algae growing on the bottom. It may be possible to swim well during a very strong tide, but it was not possible to swim during our visit. That's why we spent the day at the villa, swimming and relaxing there. And after sunset, we went out for a walk along the shore, admired the sunset, played with our daughter in the sand and on the playground, and also strolled along the pier. For some reason, for the first time, we really didn't really want to swim in the sea). In general, if you want to spend your entire vacation in complete relaxation with the chirping of birds, the sound of the wind and the lapping of waves, then I definitely recommend Banyan tree.

HHeizhimahetangyuanLet me start by praising the bell staff. As soon as we got out of the car, they promptly helped us with our luggage. We handed over our suitcases, checked in, and headed straight to the duty-free shop. When we returned to the hotel in the evening, our luggage was already in our room, along with a welcome fruit platter featuring a good variety of delicious tropical fruits.
Next, I want to commend the housekeeping staff on the 18th floor. They are incredibly attentive. When tidying the room, they are able to deduce guests' habits from how the room was used and adapt their cleaning and organizing process to individual preferences, rather than rigidly following standard hotel procedures! For example, I like to pull the duvet completely out from under the mattress when I sleep. When housekeeping tidied up, they didn't tuck it back under the mattress but instead neatly and attractively arranged it. However, for my child's bed, they tucked the duvet back under the mattress, aligning with my child's sleeping habits.
Finally, a huge shout-out to the thoughtful service of the guest room manager. They arranged a late check-out for us, and our room on the 18th floor was super quiet. The hotel's facilities, cleanliness, beach view, breakfast, and the complimentary seafood buffet dinner were all excellent!

GGuest UserWe stayed in the Wild Goose room type during the May Day holiday. During our stay, we saw squirrels, chameleons, and small monkeys in the park. Compared to Yunnan and Hangzhou, the squirrels here were the biggest I've ever seen, which shows the excellent ecological environment on the mountain. The hotel's breakfast was great, much better than the Hilton Yalong Bay where we stayed the previous two days. My picky eater child's appetite proved that, and the breakfast restaurant offers sea views, which makes eating more enjoyable. If you like peace and quiet, I recommend staying here for two nights. If you prefer a lively atmosphere, I'd suggest staying by the sea. It's lovely to quietly enjoy the sea view here, dine at a sea-view restaurant, and swim in a sea-view pool. However, if you want to experience bustling night markets and seafood stalls, you'll need to go down the mountain, which is quite inconvenient (as I got a bit carsick twice going down, even just from the lobby to Baihua Valley, a personal experience). The resort is divided into several areas, essentially small hilltops, from which you can see Haitang Bay (we could see a bit from our room) and Yalong Bay. Different room types, restaurants, and pools are also distributed across these various hilltops. If you have specific requirements regarding these, I recommend calling the hotel beforehand. After check-in, a manager contacts you. This time, Manager Sun who contacted us was excellent; she responded very promptly to any questions. She helped us book a guide service that the hotel cooperates with the scenic area. Additionally, the housekeeping staff would call to confirm if cleaning was needed. Overall, the hotel's service is definitely up to standard.

GGuest UserStaying at One&Only Sanya was such a wonderful surprise! As soon as I stepped onto the balcony, I was greeted by the stunning blue ocean perfectly complemented by swaying palm trees. Watching the sunset from a lounge chair by the pool was incredibly therapeutic, and even the garden pathways exuded a tropical charm.
The room was comfortable, and the breakfast spread was fantastic with fresh ingredients. The hotel activities were enjoyable, and the pool was absolutely amazing.
Special thanks to Wincy for their excellent service which, combined with the breathtaking scenery, made this Sanya trip absolutely perfect. I'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend One&Only Sanya for a vacation!

1. **Beautiful Environment, Close to the Sea.**
The entire hotel environment, including the courtyards, swimming pools, and the hotel itself, was very clean. Staff were constantly cleaning. The courtyards have an abundance of lush greenery, artfully arranged. Being right by the sea, it's incredibly convenient to walk directly from the hotel. You'll even pass a grassy area surrounded by coconut groves, perfect for photos.
2. **Abundant Breakfast.**
The hotel's buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including Chinese, Western, and desserts, all of which tasted great.
3. **Numerous Public Pools.**
The hotel has many public swimming pools, including a children's area and various depth zones, so guests can choose according to their needs.
**Conclusion:** Overall, the Sheraton Hotel boasts a beautiful environment and excellent service. It's a fantastic choice in Haitang Bay.

YYinyingerThe Ritz is my favorite and most frequented hotel in Yalong Bay; it truly gives off a strong vacation vibe. This trip was quite a pleasant surprise! The Huahai room I booked wasn't available, but Jay from the Executive Lounge has an incredible service ethic. He kept me informed about all the hotel activities and even arranged a better room type for me. The view is absolutely stunning, and the pool is right downstairs. Listening to the waves and feeling the sea breeze at night, you just feel like life should be 'wasted' in a place like this!
You should definitely try the deep-sea fishing organized by the hotel in collaboration with Yalong Bay. I've known the captain for years and go out with him every year. During the off-season, we managed to charter the boat, and the captain really elevated the experience – we even caught a giant pufferfish! Remember to take the White Rabbit motion sickness medicine; it's a lifesaver.
The 'five meals a day' that netizens affectionately call the 'executive pig farm' are amazing. The menu isn't fixed, but I love the taste of everything. If I don't know what to eat, I'll just grab a bowl of noodles. The hot and sour beef noodles are truly unforgettable; I even stay at the Ritz every year just for them.
The butler service was excellent throughout our three-day, two-night stay, from check-in to check-out. Jay deserves a huge commendation – my family keeps saying how much they love his name! Because we checked in a little late, he proactively offered to arrange a car to our next hotel during dinner. A business sedan for the two of us made us feel truly valued. He also fulfilled my wish of getting the little lion, which I missed out on last time! It's a great place to stay; I love it and will be back next year!

AAnonymous UserThe room was decent. The Thai restaurant was delicious; I especially loved the pineapple rice. The buffet on the lawn had live singing, which was also a nice touch. Overall, I was very satisfied with all the food I had during my three-day stay. Oh, and there was this one 'here-and-there' restaurant staff member who cracked me up! I honestly wondered if he was a twin because I kept seeing him in different restaurants around the hotel. He even made me, someone who's a bit face-blind, remember him, haha! I'm curious what his role was. The kids' club was quite spacious and suitable for younger children. Cara made a great sword and machine gun out of balloons, which my little one loved, and our butler, Coral, was also very thoughtful.

GGuest UserOur stay in the Shangri-La Deluxe Ocean View King Room was absolutely fantastic 👍. The room not only had a spacious king-sized bed (1.8m), but also a 1.5m sofa bed, perfect for one adult and one child, or even two children. Everyone got a great night's sleep 😴. The view from the room was also stunning; being on the 7th floor, we could see both the ocean and the garden. It was incredibly relaxing to just stay in the room and play games or admire the scenery when the sun was strong. Plus, the complimentary breakfast and dinner offered by the Deluxe package more than met our needs, leaving us free to try other dining options when we were out and about during the day. The hotel's family activities were abundant and all had a great experience, and the staff were warm and attentive. The kids loved the water activities the most, wanting to go swimming both in the morning and at night. There are three swimming pools, a very thoughtful design, suitable for children aged 3-12.

BBryGuyHoward Johnson is a known hotel brand from the USA, known as a budget hotel. The hotel has many pools, but two remain closed and the main pool is okay but only 1.4m deep, just good for light swimming and kids playing. There is a kids splash pool open for playing. The room equipment is outdated and tired, the room lights are dim, no ice machine, so you have to call room service to get ice. The back door was dirty with finger prints and the tray holding the toothbrush was old and aged cracked plastic. There are no disposable slippers provided, only re-usable rubber ones which are old. The fountains in the G floor are not working. You can see the lack of care in appearance of the old furniture and dusty equipment from what looks like a dining hall in the east wing. There is a small tunnel access to the beach, too bad the hotel has no beach equipment or chairs, which need to be rented. The beach is nice and not busy, since more people stay along the Sanya East Bay Beach or the other popular beaches. The location is okay, there is a small lobby shop, there are many shops/ across the street. DiDi can also take you to many places. I would not stay here again...but if you want a large space and stay mostly on the resort for playing, it's okay .
