Guest UserCameron is nice, and the service was good, as was the hotel itself. It had all the facilities, a clean environment, and a wide variety of delicious and affordable food. There were many activities available, and even bug spray provided. The room had plenty of water options. The Chinese lunch arrangements were appropriate and plentiful. The only drawbacks were that the light switches in the room weren't great, a bit hard to control. The air conditioning in the Japanese restaurant wasn't strong enough, making it a bit warm. The travel photography selection process felt a bit like forced consumption; they were very quick to pull out a QR code and demand payment, as if they were afraid I wouldn't buy anything. That was a small disappointment on the trip, and I'd recommend avoiding this travel photography service; it wasn't as good as one I would choose myself.
Overall, the Westin offers great value for money, with an all-inclusive package that provides plenty of diverse and clean food. It's perfect for a relaxing vacation, with a nice swimming pool, ping-pong table, billiards, and a gym, along with various activities. It's really suitable for a holiday and much better than other popular 'influencer' hotels. The F&B staff were also very accommodating, asking about our needs and what could be improved. Overall, I'm very satisfied, except for the travel photography. Every trip has a small regret, but it didn't spoil the mood. Overall, the Westin is excellent.

We came from Wanning. After getting off the bus and leaving the parking lot to go up the slope to the hotel, we met a young man in a yellow work uniform. He greeted us proactively and, knowing we were going to check in, immediately called a cart to help us with our luggage (the decorative ground was uneven, making it very difficult for us to drag our suitcases). We're very grateful to him. Later, a tall young man from Northeast China who delivered our luggage to our room was also excellent. Seeing that we had children, he offered to bring our takeout up to us. On the day we left, he was at the concierge desk collecting luggage, and since we had a lot of stuff, he meticulously helped us organize everything. There was a slight hiccup during check-in; they wouldn't give me the room I booked, offering me a different room and claiming they'd add a bed for free. I ended up getting angry at the front desk, and the front desk manager came over and resolved the issue for us. I had no intention of making things difficult for anyone; my request was simple: a room that could accommodate our family of four, as I had specifically booked a room for four people. What's the point of giving me a different room and then adding a bed? The hotel is a bit old and the facilities are noticeably dated, but it's clean, which I can accept. The hotel has a dedicated passage to the duty-free shop, exiting right into the BC section of the duty-free shop, which is very convenient.

For the same price point, I still recommend Banyan Tree~ Although it opened earlier than other hotels, it wins out by being quiet and free from the noise of those marketing family-friendly hotels. The breakfast running until 12 PM is fantastic, perfect for late risers, and the restaurant is very orderly. While some online reviews mention a limited selection of food, there's no constant turning over of dishes by people, and my child never experienced any stomach discomfort during our nearly week-long stay~
Staff in public areas always greet you, and service response is very prompt~ One evening, we couldn't open the main entrance (likely improperly locked by the turndown service staff). It was already 10:15 PM, and the maintenance staff, seeing us waiting for over 10 minutes with my young child urging to go back to the room to sleep, suggested climbing over the wall to open the door from the inside so we could get back to our room. (The wall had dangerous-looking spikes to prevent climbing). Outside food deliveries are brought to your door by a butler and are quite fast~
The hotel's public beach isn't large, but its waters have a breakwater, so the waves here are much smaller than in other bays. At low tide, you can even pick up small shells and catch small crabs (remember to wear protective gear. A reminder that the area of the hotel beach is a coral protection zone with live coral, so do not go into the water with exposed legs to avoid cuts, and do not step on or turn over corals! Please release any live creatures back into the sea). The sand closer to the water is fine, but further out, there are many mixed broken shells, so children must wear flip-flops or sandals, and socks would make it less uncomfortable.
The hotel offers many activities to keep children entertained: aromatherapy candles, coconut shell painting, stringing shell bells, planting coconut seedlings, football, beach volleyball, coffee grounds sand art, painted fans, twisted sticks, and recycled paper bookmarks (daily schedules vary). Some are chargeable~
Since each room has its own pool, we didn't use the public pool. We also rarely saw other guests in the public areas. Mosquito repellent was provided in the room, and we always took mosquito precautions before going out, so we weren't bitten by mosquitoes or other insects throughout our stay~ The greenery in the park is maintained daily by staff. Besides encountering various sizes of snails at night and frogs croaking loudly around the pool (which scurried away frantically when seen), we didn't encounter any scary animals.
Finally, when we left, I took a bag of items made by my child in the park~ and shells picked from the beach~ They kept insisting they want to come again next time!

Guest UserOpting for the Grand Hyatt Sanya Haitang Bay for our vacation in Sanya was a fantastic choice! The two-day stay completely boosted our happiness levels; it was comfortable and relaxing throughout. I especially want to commend our personal butler, Diana, whose professional and warm service genuinely changed my perception of hotel service.
Even before our arrival, Diana proactively reached out via WeChat. She meticulously confirmed our arrival time and travel needs, patiently explaining all the hotel benefits and offering tips for exploring the resort. Upon check-in, she learned we were on a family vacation and thoughtfully upgraded our room for free. Opening the door to our room was a pleasant surprise – it was spacious and tidy, the bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the toiletries were complete, showing attention to detail everywhere.
Diana was always enthusiastic and appropriate in her interactions, and her responses to messages were consistently prompt and reliable. Whether we needed extra room amenities, wanted to reserve a pool spot, or sought directions to nearby duty-free shops and food streets, she provided clear and organized solutions with impeccable professionalism. Any small requests during our stay were promptly and properly handled. She struck the perfect balance, never being overly intrusive yet always appearing precisely when needed.
Beyond the service, the hotel's overall ambiance and facilities were outstanding. The grounds are surrounded by lush coconut groves and greenery, offering a relaxed island vibe with picturesque views at every turn. The three partitioned swimming pools were comfortably heated, with clearly designated adult quiet zones and children's play areas. A short stroll leads to the private beach, where watching the sunset with the sea breeze was incredibly therapeutic. The breakfast spread was rich and diverse, featuring Hainanese specialty noodles, Western pastries, and fresh fruit beverages, all delicious. The hotel also has direct access to the 68 Global Food Street, making dining and shopping very convenient. In our free time, we could also enjoy craft activities at the Kids' Club, making for a wonderfully lazy and comfortable vacation pace.
The only minor regret of this trip was that we left too early on our departure day and couldn't say goodbye to Diana in person. Afterward, she specifically messaged us, her tone reflecting a slight apology, explaining in detail why she couldn't see us off. This gentle and sincere gesture beautifully smoothed over that small imperfection, and she even sent us travel blessings. Her thoughtful approach made us feel incredibly warm.
A comfortable vacation is half due to the scenery and environment, and half due to the attentive service. Many thanks to Diana for her meticulous and thoughtful care throughout our stay. The Grand Hyatt Sanya Haitang Bay truly lives up to its reputation as a top choice for a Haitang Bay vacation. We will definitely choose to stay here again on our next trip to Sanya, and we'll certainly be looking for Diana!

Guest UserThere's a special reason why I chose this hotel again. Ten years ago, I stumbled upon it and ended up vacationing here for two consecutive years. After a decade-long absence, I finally got the chance to return this year, and I'm so glad I did. I booked a two-day, three-night stay, and the entire experience was absolutely delightful.
First off, the complimentary breakfast buffet is fantastic. The variety is excellent and everything is fresh, from bread, rice, and congee to tropical fruits. Plus, you get to enjoy your meal with a beautiful ocean view and a refreshing sea breeze – it's incredibly relaxing.
Then there are the multiple outdoor swimming pools: the water is crystal clear, and the depth is well-divided, making it perfect for both adults to swim and relax and children to play. In the evenings, they even host an outdoor BBQ feast.
What truly stands out is the exclusive beach. The hotel is right on the beachfront, and the sand is fine and soft. It’s wonderfully uncrowded, allowing you to escape the usual tourist hustle. You can simply enjoy the ocean, take photos, or go for a swim, all with dedicated lifeguards ensuring your safety.
Furthermore, the hotel grounds are lush with tropical greenery, featuring all sorts of exotic plants and flowers, perfect for leisurely strolls. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the staff are courteous and attentive, making you feel completely immersed in the vacation spirit. It's definitely worth recommending. I'll be working hard to save up so I can come back to the Sheraton Sanya next year!

Guest UserFive out of five stars, highly recommended! This well-established five-star hotel in Sanya Bay offers incredible value for money. It's super close to the airport, just a ten-minute taxi ride away. The hotel has a private underground passage directly to Coconut Dream Corridor Beach, so you don't have to cross any roads, which is really reassuring. There's a huge garden and several swimming pools, plus excellent facilities for kids. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the breakfast spread is extensive. The staff are warm and enthusiastic, making our family vacation incredibly comfortable. The complimentary travel photography service was excellent and produced some fantastic shots. We are very satisfied and will definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Sanya!

This was my first time in Sanya, and while I initially wanted to stay at Atlantis, the price was too high. So, I settled for the Sheraton, cautiously optimistic. We arrived in the evening, and after dinner, it was already past 10 PM. The kids were exhausted, so we let them rest. The next morning, I woke up, sat on the balcony, poured myself a hot cup of tea, and enjoyed the Sanya breeze – salty, cool, and soft like coconut, incredibly comfortable. In front of me were swimming pools of all shapes and sizes. The kids were bouncing with excitement! 'Yes,' we confirmed, 'today we're staying at the hotel to play.' No Atlantis Waterpark, no beach (even though it's right there), but the pools kept them completely captivated. It was a perfect, albeit exhausting, day. They have pools suitable for all ages, truly comprehensive, and you can even rent inner tubes and other equipment for free. The hotel also has an indoor playground that the kids will absolutely love. Plus, the hotel organizes nearly ten different children's activities at various times throughout the day, which are perfect for little ones to enjoy. I'm really happy with this choice; it's definitely a great place for a family vacation with kids.

Guest UserI was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. Our butler, Jeff, was excellent! He called us in advance to upgrade us to a sea-facing room, and he was always super quick to respond on WeChat, answering all our questions promptly.
I really loved the hotel's environment. The large lawn is perfect for photos and looks very pleasant. Walking around the hotel, there's always a breeze, making it feel especially cool when you sit down. There are many pools, big and small, as well as a children's water park. My kids loved swimming so much they didn't want to do anything else.
The room was very clean and quiet, with no noise. Right opposite the hotel is the beach, and there's an underpass to get there. You can borrow a small bucket to dig in the sand, which is a favorite activity for kids. It's a great place for families with children.

orangeYalong Bay Mangrove Tree Resort is probably one of the hotels with the best service in Sanya. This trip, it rained in Sanya, which initially made me a bit emotional. Luckily, we had our beautiful and kind butler, Coral, who provided thoughtful and attentive service throughout – a huge thank you to her! The sea in the Mangrove Tree area seems to have smaller waves, making it relatively safer. Even with a light drizzle, it didn't stop us from swimming in the ocean, which is exactly why we came to Sanya. We spent a whole afternoon playing yesterday and didn't get too sunburnt, it was excellent! The hotel breakfast had a great variety, and the fruits were plentiful and fresh, which I was very satisfied with! We've already moved to our second hotel now, and it's day one of missing Coral…

Guest UserThe room offered expansive views, and the bathtub on the balcony really enhanced our vacation mood – a pre-sleep soak became a nightly ritual.
The twin beds in our chosen room type could be pushed together, which was perfect for our family of two adults and two children.
We appreciated the complimentary welcome fruit arranged by the butler.
Breakfast was excellent and served until 11 AM, which was ideal for our family of late risers. They even had Haagen-Dazs ice cream!
The club lounge's afternoon tea and evening snacks were so substantial that we could have easily eaten all our meals there.
The hotel boasts numerous swimming pools and a fantastic beach, complete with plenty of family-friendly activities and Instagram-worthy photo spots.
My only minor complaints are the lack of USB/Type-C charging ports in the room. The power outlets were also a bit problematic; only one in my room worked properly, with the others either too tight or too loose, perhaps due to age.
Additionally, food deliveries had to be picked up downstairs as there was no robot delivery service to the rooms.
