If you're looking for a hotel that's close to the city center but still quiet and atmospheric, I highly recommend this place. The hotel's facilities are immaculately clean, well-maintained, and exude that relaxed, resort-like vibe that made my stay incredibly satisfying.
It's very close to the beach, perfect for leisurely strolls and relaxation. The pool is also large, clean, and comfortable, making it ideal for both families and couples. The breakfast, in particular, exceeded my expectations – a wide variety of delicious options that helped start each day on a high note.
What truly stood out was the lovely Cynthia. Her warm welcome and attentive service made our stay incredibly comfortable. Cynthia always greeted our family with a radiant smile and meticulously took care of every little detail, ensuring we had a completely hassle-free and delightful time. Her beautiful smile and friendly service made this trip even more special.

"Huge thanks to the butler for helping us upgrade to a better room! The pool here is massive, and we had a super comfortable stay. They even have an elevator. The butler service was exceptionally good; we received thoughtful reminders every day, and they were very proactive in helping us resolve any issues with our room during our stay. It couldn't have been better! We'll definitely be staying here again next time. Absolutely perfect!"

"I was very satisfied with this stay. My friend recommended this hotel. Kay contacted me a day in advance and upgraded me for free to a room directly facing the sea, which offered an unbeatable ocean view. The breakfast special dishes changed slightly every day, so it wasn't the same routine. With the JOJO playground, water park, and large swimming pool, three consecutive days here still wasn't enough fun. There are many pools, and even though only one large one was open during the off-season, it was more than enough. The hotel has an exclusive underground passage directly to the beach, making it very convenient to get there. The beach is flat, and the sea is calm in the morning, which is great for water activities, and safer for babies with swimming rings. Be sure to bring mosquito repellent as there are mosquitoes, and sunscreen is also very important."

XXiaoyumideMAMAWe stayed from June 6th to 8th. Despite a couple of minor mishaps where my child fell twice, the butler and the two managers on duty were incredibly responsive and helpful. I give the service a five-star rating; it was truly excellent. The breakfast was also superb, consistently meeting InterContinental's high standards. However, some of the hotel's facilities, likely due to its seaside location, seem prone to mold and dampness and could use some maintenance and repair. Additionally, the area right outside the breakfast restaurant was really slippery. I hope they can use a blower or put up a 'Caution: Wet Floor' sign there. Overall, I wish InterContinental continued success and hope to see some improvements in the facilities on our next visit.

Firstly, the service at Banyan Tree is top-notch. Every staff member was incredibly kind and attentive, warm, thoughtful, and always willing to help. They were professional yet discreet, making us feel completely at ease. The attention to detail was heartwarming; even though we checked in late at night, the service was still impeccable. From arrival to departure, we received meticulous care, clearly showing that guest experience is their top priority.
The most delightful surprise was the romantic ambiance they specially created for us. The room decor was absolutely stunning! The exquisite flowers set a perfect mood, and we were treated to a freshly made custom cake and a handwritten blessing card. Every detail was thoughtfully designed, making it feel incredibly special. Upon check-out, they even prepared a beautiful parting gift, which was such a thoughtful gesture. It truly felt like Banyan Tree genuinely wished us well and shared in our romantic joy – it was both tender and heartwarming.
This trip to Banyan Tree Sanya created so many wonderful memories. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone planning a honeymoon or a romantic getaway. I've already told all my friends and family about it, and I wouldn't hesitate to choose it again for our next trip!

I really liked the layout of the entire room; the wet and dry areas were completely separated, and the balcony was huge, making for a very comfortable stay. The hotel's garden was also lovely, with a coconut grove by the sea that was great for photos, and there's a cafe too. The complimentary grouper set meal for two was excellent! The photographer for our travel shoot was great at getting us excited, and the lady who helped us choose photos was also very easy to communicate with throughout the process!

GGuest UserWe stayed in the Wild Goose room type during the May Day holiday. During our stay, we saw squirrels, chameleons, and small monkeys in the park. Compared to Yunnan and Hangzhou, the squirrels here were the biggest I've ever seen, which shows the excellent ecological environment on the mountain. The hotel's breakfast was great, much better than the Hilton Yalong Bay where we stayed the previous two days. My picky eater child's appetite proved that, and the breakfast restaurant offers sea views, which makes eating more enjoyable. If you like peace and quiet, I recommend staying here for two nights. If you prefer a lively atmosphere, I'd suggest staying by the sea. It's lovely to quietly enjoy the sea view here, dine at a sea-view restaurant, and swim in a sea-view pool. However, if you want to experience bustling night markets and seafood stalls, you'll need to go down the mountain, which is quite inconvenient (as I got a bit carsick twice going down, even just from the lobby to Baihua Valley, a personal experience). The resort is divided into several areas, essentially small hilltops, from which you can see Haitang Bay (we could see a bit from our room) and Yalong Bay. Different room types, restaurants, and pools are also distributed across these various hilltops. If you have specific requirements regarding these, I recommend calling the hotel beforehand. After check-in, a manager contacts you. This time, Manager Sun who contacted us was excellent; she responded very promptly to any questions. She helped us book a guide service that the hotel cooperates with the scenic area. Additionally, the housekeeping staff would call to confirm if cleaning was needed. Overall, the hotel's service is definitely up to standard.

We were especially delighted by the hotel's travel photography service. I tried it on a whim, and the photos turned out to be absolutely stunning! The photographer was very professional, knew all the best angles, and was great at guiding our poses. The pictures looked amazing with hardly any editing needed, perfectly capturing the wonderful moments of our trip. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area – you get to enjoy a great stay and come away with a beautiful set of photos. Such great value for money!

GGuest UserThe facilities are relatively new, and the decor is particularly unique. It boasts a garden landscape combined with the seaside. There's a well-maintained boardwalk that leads directly to the beach. This beach is a public area but thankfully free of commercialism, making it incredibly beautiful, comfortable, and tranquil. You can visit both during the day and at night, though swimming isn't allowed. It's perfect for a leisurely stroll by the sea.
I must highlight the hotel's breakfast! If you're a bread lover, you absolutely *must* try their breakfast bread – it's simply delicious. It's the freshest and tastiest bread I've had at any five-star hotel so far. They also offer fresh squeezed juices, which is fantastic for anyone with high standards for their dining experience, and the vegetables are incredibly fresh.
Regarding accommodation, I definitely recommend staying in one of their suites. They are truly full of design flair, and you can even order takeout to your room. There are also sea-view rooms. The room layout is very sensible; if two people are traveling together and one needs to work, it's very convenient as one room won't disturb the other.

The hotel is backed by mountains and faces the sea, very close to the city center. It's just a few minutes' taxi ride to the First Market, where you can find all sorts of seafood and fruits.
It offers a quiet seaside escape, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
As soon as we arrived, a friendly bellboy opened the car door and helped with our luggage.
The front desk lady upgraded us to a family room, which was fantastic! The view was superb, and the air conditioning worked perfectly.
During the day, the kids loved the various activities at the children's playground – it was truly immersive fun for them. In the evening, they had a blast beachcombing downstairs.
Special thanks to Fox 🦊 from Guest Relations for assisting us during check-in. The service attitude was indeed excellent!

GGuest UserThis was my first time choosing the Mangrove Tree Resort among all the beachfront hotels in Yalong Bay, and I was not disappointed at all.
**Location:** Situated between the Horizon Resort & Spa and the MGM Grand, it boasts direct access to the sea view and beach. It's also about a kilometer's walk to Baohua Valley and Yalong Bay Night Market. I'd say the location is excellent.
**Cleanliness:** The hotel's cleanliness is top-notch. I explored the lobby, public areas, and my room, and found it to be spotless throughout.
**Service:** From the lobby staff to the front desk, butlers, restaurant staff, and housekeepers, everyone was incredibly attentive. They all performed their duties diligently and professionally, showing great dedication, responsibility, warmth, and thoroughness.
**Facilities:** The Mangrove Tree Resort is an established five-star hotel. The pool facilities and lawns are exceptionally well-maintained and very picturesque. The room facilities, however, haven't been modernized; everything retains the original, older decor and amenities. That said, the bedding is very comfortable, and the pillows provided a great night's sleep.
Choosing the Mangrove Tree Resort for this trip was absolutely the right decision. It also showed me that among the beachfront hotels in Yalong Bay, the Mangrove Tree Resort is highly competitive and offers great value for money.

GGuest UserOur stay in the Shangri-La Deluxe Ocean View King Room was absolutely fantastic 👍. The room not only had a spacious king-sized bed (1.8m), but also a 1.5m sofa bed, perfect for one adult and one child, or even two children. Everyone got a great night's sleep 😴. The view from the room was also stunning; being on the 7th floor, we could see both the ocean and the garden. It was incredibly relaxing to just stay in the room and play games or admire the scenery when the sun was strong. Plus, the complimentary breakfast and dinner offered by the Deluxe package more than met our needs, leaving us free to try other dining options when we were out and about during the day. The hotel's family activities were abundant and all had a great experience, and the staff were warm and attentive. The kids loved the water activities the most, wanting to go swimming both in the morning and at night. There are three swimming pools, a very thoughtful design, suitable for children aged 3-12.
