"This hotel is nestled in a hillside villa, offering great room views and a quiet, comfortable environment. They also provide a pick-up service, and upon check-in, we were treated to an afternoon tea. 😊 All the snacks, drinks, and red wine in the room were complimentary. Breakfast was very substantial too. The two housekeepers were super friendly and efficient, always ready to help with anything we needed. It was a fantastic experience!"

GGuest UserAs returning customers, we were thrilled to find that Yunqi Sea View Hotel is just as wonderful as we remembered from a year ago. Due to a last-minute booking change by us, we experienced two different room types this time: the Ground Level Courtyard Room and the Secret Realm Sea View Double Bed Suite. Both were exceptional.
Here is why this hotel remains our absolute go-to in Dali:
Perfect Location: Right outside, you’ll find convenience stores and a bicycle rental shop (making renting and returning bikes incredibly seamless). Plus, the lake views from the sea-view rooms are simply breathtaking.
Superb Dining & Perks: The in-house restaurant serves fantastic Yunnan cuisine that strikes a perfect balance between price and quality. We also loved the complimentary food perks: a sumptuous breakfast set, delicious cheesecake for afternoon tea, and healthy, unsweetened evening desserts.
Unparalleled Service: The staff are wonderfully friendly, courteous, and proactive. When I inquired about a work desk, they promptly brought a small table and chair to my room. They also checked in daily for housekeeping and seamlessly arranged our transport to the train station.
Excellent Facilities: The hotel features a great gym, a 1.8m-deep pool, a kids' playroom, a function room, and a beautiful garden. Our room on the second night was located at the higher level facing Er Hai. The room was fairly spacious and only lack a worktable. The view from our bedroom was breathtaking. Waking up in the morning to this amazing view of the lake is something which we had looked forward to all this while before our trip. Another reason why I chose this room was the availability of a superb projector screen and setup allowing us to enjoy our favorite shows on a big screen in the bedroom.
We will definitely return to Yunqi for all our future trips to Dali!

Facilities: The room was well-equipped with amenities like a mini-fridge, coffee machine, water heater, safe, bathtub, and shower.
Cleanliness: Clean and tidy.
Environment: The location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from Dali Port. The scenery is amazing, with lake-view rooms overlooking Erhai Lake.
Service: The front desk staff were very friendly and patient, listened carefully to my questions, and answered quickly.

GGuest UserOn my first day in Dali, I checked into the Yueshanhai Hotel, nestled in the mountains near the ancient city. With a gentle drizzle and fresh air, a stroll through the garden was utterly delightful.
The hotel boasts excellent facilities, including a swimming pool, gym, restaurant, cafe, bar, book bar, and even billiards. On the third floor of Building 1, you'll find the Akashima Seaview Bar and the Seaview Book Bar, offering stunning views of the mountains and Erhai Lake. Don't forget to wake up early to catch the sunrise!
The guest rooms are spacious and bright, with comfortable bedding. The Herbal toiletries and bathtub for a relaxing soak after a long day of exploring are absolutely wonderful!
Breakfast, served on the first floor of Building 2 at the Baini Restaurant, offers a rich variety of Chinese and Western options. The rice noodles with braised pork and Weishan stewed pork are incredibly fragrant and delicious!

GGuest UserThe views are absolutely stunning, perfect for photos, especially the unbeatable sunset. The hotel service is excellent; the butler was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. My dress got dirty during a photoshoot, and they even offered free washing and drying. Breakfast and afternoon tea were both delicious and plentiful. Overall, the experience was fantastic. I didn't want to leave; if I didn't have other plans, I would have stayed another day.

GGuest UserAfter living in Dali Ancient Town for a long time, I really want to get away from the crowd. The B&Bs in Haidong are so beautiful and suitable for parent-child travel. The Xingmu where I stayed on the weekend is really cost-effective. The room has a first-line sea view, the speakers are the same model and color as mine, Dyson hair dryer, Hans Gewa bathroom, and the whole house is smart. Just move your lips. It feels a bit like a five-star hotel. The most attractive thing for me is the hot spring pool, which is very similar to a small swimming pool. You can enjoy it while watching the sunset. After taking a bath, there is a large screen projection of Peppa Pig. The children are reluctant to leave because they have to check out early the next day. The staff of the B&B got up early to prepare breakfast for us, which is really considerate. 
Because I drove with my baby and did not use the B&B's special car business car for pick-up, friends who don't drive can contact the B&B for pick-up.

This hotel is located near the Erhai Lake Greenway, offering beautiful scenery and a peaceful environment with fewer tourists. Parking is convenient, about 200 meters away.
The greenway is perfect for cycling; you can reach the 'Most Beautiful Kilometer of Erhai' in about ten kilometers. Xizhou Ancient Town is also just a 2-kilometer bike ride away.
Due to certain circumstances during our stay, the owner upgraded us to a courtyard room on the first floor of Building B. The room's amenities were excellent, and we even got to see the sunrise in the morning.
Finally, the breakfast and afternoon tea, although not extensive in variety, were exquisite. Highly recommended.

GGuest UserOur family stayed five nights in Dali, and the location was excellent and very convenient. The staff were also very warm and attentive. My husband had a fractured bone and was using a wheelchair, and the front desk staff were always so kind and helpful, assisting us with carrying the wheelchair and charging it. The hotel's pool was also perfect for the kids to burn off some energy. The only downside was that breakfast was the same every day, haha. We would definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Dali.

AAnonymous UserI have higher requirements for accommodation and spend more time in hotels. I am the one who takes care of hotels when my friends and family travel, because I have pretty good taste in choosing hotels. This one is a no-brainer.
External environment: As in the pictures in other reviews, there is no difference, so I didn’t take any extra photos. In the beautiful villa area, there is a garden path at the entrance, which is very romantic.
Inside the room: The entrance to the room, as shown in Figure 1, is very beautiful. The bed looked out the window. I really like the feeling of this kind of bed. It is very cozy to snuggle in it. As shown in Figure 2. The outside of the balcony bed is shown in Figure 3. The weather was bad during the few days we were in Yunnan, it would have been beautiful if the sun had gone out. Especially highlighting the key points, I personally like this large washbasin mirror, which is facing the window and has great lighting for makeup! ! ! Because I like to do my makeup in natural light. Figure 4.5
Breakfast: I stayed in rooms that cost more than 500 yuan or 1,000 yuan when I came to Yunnan. The regular breakfast in homestays was corn + sweet potato + egg + staple food + tomato. This is the most delicious breakfast I had in Yunnan. It was a complete plate. The rice noodles and noodles were so delicious. Attached photo 6
Transportation: It is difficult to park near the ancient city when driving. It is very convenient to take a taxi here. You can drive directly in and get on the car at the door, and it takes about 20 minutes to go to several pedestrian streets. It’s a two-minute drive to Sannei Ice Cream, which is delicious. Next to Figure 7 is a street selling Bai ethnic cuisine. I didn’t have time to eat there. Finally, attached are the various delicacies I ate here. Because the weather was bad, I just ate and ate.

GGuest UserTheir service is incredible and the hotel is very clean. Staff were friendly and really helpful, thanks to them for offering a suitable solution for my sick friend who needed more rest.
We didn’t get the time to walk around the hotel, so the pictures I took were mainly the surrounding area which was beautiful. (Didn’t expect to see so many 蓝花 still at the end of May)
As for the room, it was big and spacious. First picture is view, last picture was when we were stargazing. The only things to note is that there isn’t really a place for clothes in the shower area, only a small place to hold shower bottles.
Another would be the need to plug the insect repellent to the switch upon entering the room. We were oblivious at first so there were many mosquitoes in the common area, and thankfully none in the other room.
Finally a tip, you can ask them to transport you to 理想邦 and there is also a discount.
Overall, we had a lovely stay thanks to the hotel’s hospitality☺️
