"Our family stayed five nights in Dali, and the location was excellent and very convenient. The staff were also very warm and attentive. My husband had a fractured bone and was using a wheelchair, and the front desk staff were always so kind and helpful, assisting us with carrying the wheelchair and charging it. The hotel's pool was also perfect for the kids to burn off some energy. The only downside was that breakfast was the same every day, haha. We would definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Dali."

GGuest UserTraveling with kids, this guesthouse was an absolute surprise! Facing Erhai Lake and backed by Cangshan Mountain, you don't even need to leave to enjoy the stunning scenery. The courtyard is very quiet, and it's super close to both the Old Town and Erhai Lake, perfect for a self-driving trip. There are electric scooters for rent right at the entrance, sixty yuan a day – we took the kids out for a breezy afternoon, it was so relaxing. Now, let's talk about the guesthouse's environment: the room was clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, and all the toiletries were high-end and complete. It was truly my dream room! The proprietress is gentle and capable, making us different delicious and nutritionally balanced breakfasts every day. The owner is a photography enthusiast, so there's a strong artistic vibe. Their child is also smart and lively, which was amazing since we brought our own kids – they had a playmate, and we adults just had to enjoy ourselves. In short, we absolutely loved it! Oh, right, the owner also has three adorable cats named Zhaocai, Laicai, and Xiaoyuanbao. My son couldn't get enough of them. We'll definitely come back if we get the chance, and for anyone visiting Dali, don't hesitate – just book this place! It will give you a unique experience. 👍

The B&B's location is excellent, though the surrounding roads are quite narrow, making transportation a bit inconvenient. However, the owner thoughtfully provides complimentary shuttle service for trips to dinner, daily outings, and airport transfers, so getting around was never a concern. The service at this B&B is absolutely top-notch. The staff are gentle and patient, always willing to help, and their attention to detail is truly heartwarming. They kindly offer afternoon tea and a soothing bedtime dessert soup daily, both exquisite and comforting. Breakfast is different every day; we had Chinese on the first day and Western on the second. The special rice noodles were flavorful, though my only minor complaint is that there wasn't much broth. The complimentary dried plums in the lobby were delicious – I even packed some to take home as a souvenir. While the guest rooms are compact, they are well-appointed with all the necessary facilities, offering a very comfortable stay. The only small drawback was that the wooden door lock was a bit tricky to operate. Cleanliness was exceptional; the rooms were meticulously cleaned with no overlooked corners. Upon checkout, we were thoughtfully given flower cakes and a custom cloth bag, showcasing their incredible attention to detail. Our entire stay was relaxing and therapeutic, making this an excellent choice for a stay in Dali. The complimentary travel photos were also lovely, but it's a shame there wasn't a package deal, as 50 RMB for one retouched photo felt a bit pricey.

GGuest UserWhen I come to Dali for a vacation, I always struggle with where to stay. After trying many places, I decisively chose the Yuanshanhai Banshan Villa Luxury Hotel. It really feels like my ideal hidden getaway. The hotel is built into the mountain, and the environment is exceptionally quiet. Both the courtyard and the rooms have great views, and you can see Cangshan Mountain just by looking up. The rooms are designed in a villa style, offering spacious and comfortable living without feeling cramped. It's also not far from the ancient city, making travel very convenient. You can explore the ancient city during the day and return to a peaceful rest at night. Overall, it's comfortable and relaxing, perfect for those who want to slow down and enjoy their vacation.

KKlauswangSummary: A very satisfying trip. This hotel is located near the Erhai Lake Greenway, offering beautiful scenery and a peaceful environment with fewer tourists. Parking is convenient, about 200 meters away. The greenway is perfect for cycling; you can reach the 'Most Beautiful Kilometer of Erhai' in about ten kilometers. Xizhou Ancient Town is also just a 2-kilometer bike ride away. Due to certain circumstances during our stay, the owner upgraded us to a courtyard room on the first floor of Building B. The room's amenities were excellent, and we even got to see the sunrise in the morning. Finally, the breakfast and afternoon tea, although not extensive in variety, were exquisite. Highly recommended.

I am the one who takes care of hotels when my friends and family travel, because I have pretty good taste in choosing hotels. This one is a no-brainer. External environment: As in the pictures in other reviews, there is no difference, so I didn’t take any extra photos. In the beautiful villa area, there is a garden path at the entrance, which is very romantic. Inside the room: The entrance to the room, as shown in Figure 1, is very beautiful. The bed looked out the window. I really like the feeling of this kind of bed. It is very cozy to snuggle in it. As shown in Figure 2. The outside of the balcony bed is shown in Figure 3. The weather was bad during the few days we were in Yunnan, it would have been beautiful if the sun had gone out. Especially highlighting the key points, I personally like this large washbasin mirror, which is facing the window and has great lighting for makeup! ! ! Because I like to do my makeup in natural light. Figure 4.5 Breakfast: I stayed in rooms that cost more than 500 yuan or 1,000 yuan when I came to Yunnan. The regular breakfast in homestays was corn + sweet potato + egg + staple food + tomato. This is the most delicious breakfast I had in Yunnan. It was a complete plate. The rice noodles and noodles were so delicious. Attached photo 6 Transportation: It is difficult to park near the ancient city when driving. It is very convenient to take a taxi here. You can drive directly in and get on the car at the door, and it takes about 20 minutes to go to several pedestrian streets. It’s a two-minute drive to Sannei Ice Cream, which is delicious. Next to Figure 7 is a street selling Bai ethnic cuisine. I didn’t have time to eat there. Finally, attached are the various delicacies I ate here. Because the weather was bad, I just ate and ate. XxQueenWarm Light by Erhai Lake Once again, we say goodbye with that familiar ache of reluctance in our hearts. Yet this farewell is softened by a unexpected tenderness—a beautiful twist of fate. A sudden bout of altitude sickness in Lijiang forced us to alter our plans and return to Dali. Little did we know this detour would lead us to the most wonderful surprise: XingMu Villa, tucked away on the green slopes of Haidong. Perhaps this was destiny's gentle hand at work all along? We were truly blessed to meet the villa's kind-hearted owners, whose genuine warmth made us feel as though we had returned to a home we never knew we had. The goodbye was especially moving. When our driver, Master He, arrived, the owners personally came out to see us off. We shared joyful smiles in a farewell photo, and they gifted us my favorite rose tea—a touching gesture I'll always remember. The hostess, aware of my recent knee injury, carefully helped me into the car, her eyes filled with such sincere care, as if I were her own. When she said how much she enjoyed hosting us and how special we were to her, my heart echoed every word. Though every wonderful journey must eventually end, the memories we've made here will stay with us forever. As our car carried us away, the gentle scent of rose tea still lingered, a fragrant reminder of this heartwarming chapter. Until we meet again, XingMu Villa. May you continue to shine brightly, and may every traveler who finds their way to your doors experience the same extraordinary warmth that embraced us during our stay.

GGuest UserTheir service is incredible and the hotel is very clean. Staff were friendly and really helpful, thanks to them for offering a suitable solution for my sick friend who needed more rest. We didn’t get the time to walk around the hotel, so the pictures I took were mainly the surrounding area which was beautiful. (Didn’t expect to see so many 蓝花 still at the end of May) As for the room, it was big and spacious. First picture is view, last picture was when we were stargazing. The only things to note is that there isn’t really a place for clothes in the shower area, only a small place to hold shower bottles. Another would be the need to plug the insect repellent to the switch upon entering the room. We were oblivious at first so there were many mosquitoes in the common area, and thankfully none in the other room. Finally a tip, you can ask them to transport you to 理想邦 and there is also a discount. Overall, we had a lovely stay thanks to the hotel’s hospitality☺️

TTJ-TimI had an absolutely satisfying stay at Hilton Dali Resort & Spa and highly recommend this property. Perched halfway up Cangshan Mountain, the hotel is conveniently situated near Jizhao Nunnery for Cangshan hiking trips, and Dali Ancient Town is a short affordable Didi ride away with abundant available cars, making transportation effortless. Our high-floor room offered stunning panoramic views of Erhai Lake from the private balcony. The room is exceptionally spacious with complete amenities; the bathroom is neatly designed with wet-dry separation. The daily breakfast buffet features an extensive selection of dishes covering diverse tastes. Special praise goes to lobby manager Herman. We encountered a small friction during pre-arrival communication, which was properly resolved thanks to Herman’s coordination. He also helped secure a complimentary room upgrade for us in advance. Throughout our stay, Herman and Beata consistently provided attentive help: collecting our takeout, answering all travel questions patiently, and he even took the initiative to apply for a late check-out for us. His thoughtful and efficient service greatly improved our whole trip. With superb location, wonderful facilities and warm personalised service, it was a flawless hotel experience, and I will definitely book here again on my next visit to Dali.
