GGuest UserI just want to express how amazing my experience at SSAW Boutique was! From check-in to check-out, everything was seamless. The man at the front desk also helped me order food even though it was late at night and found me a restaurant that was open, I really appreciated that. Highly suggest staying here, the views from the rooms are also amazing.

AAlan.hoI'm already a regular at Bellagio. I've stayed here dozens of times since it opened, and I'm usually too lazy to write reviews, but this time I really have to, because the service is truly outstanding. It's always been incredibly warm and welcoming. Special shout-out to Constance, the Guest Relations Manager, who pretty much grants every request, and if she can't, she'll go above and beyond to find a solution. The concierge team, despite being understaffed for a while, also tries their absolute best to help guests. Every single person at the front desk, both the guys and the ladies, is so enthusiastic. The housekeeping staff are lovely too; they always greet you with a smile and ask if you need your room cleaned, welcoming you back. Every time I return, it feels like coming home, and that's exactly what the welcome card says: 'Welcome Home.' No matter what, Bellagio will always be my top choice for travel and accommodation, and I'll support it all the way!

GGuest UserOverall, it was a great stay. Honestly, I had some reservations at first because its reputation on some popular social media platforms wasn't great. However, when I stayed with my family last time, I was genuinely surprised: although the rooms weren't the newest, they didn't have that dingy, old-hotel feel. Instead of an overly ornate or gaudy style, they struck a perfect balance between brightness and romance, grandeur and restraint. This second visit, I was upgraded to a classic Poolside Deluxe Room, and the views were, of course, stunning. The overall ambiance of the room was fantastic. Some facilities (like certain cabinet doors) were indeed showing age due to the heavy humidity from the pool, as mentioned online, but it didn't affect their normal use. The swimming pool was also much better than some posts had described it; in particular, the three small hot pools by the main pool, each with a different water temperature, were very unique. You could even get a short swim in there, haha. The breakfast variety and taste were probably above average, but the fact that it's available until noon is just *chef's kiss*! From what I remember, hotels in downtown Shanghai that offer this are truly rare. The hotel's service across the board was also commendable. The bellhops in the lobby, wearing flat caps and vests, were very gentlemanly. Every time the housekeeping and turndown service staff came, they were incredibly polite. What particularly impressed us were: the front desk lady on Saturday, June 6th; the enthusiastic ambassador and the service staff who helped arrange a food delivery on the same night (and every other time an ambassador answered the phone, they were also very nice); and Ms. Deslin, who assisted us during check-out. In short, it was an excellent weekend getaway in every aspect, far exceeding the expectations set by online reviews.

NNingmengfengmiyouzinaiTraveling to Shanghai with my family for the May Day holiday, we chose to stay at the Yangtze Hotel, and instantly, we were transported back to the glamorous old Shanghai of yesteryear 🌃. This historic building, dating back to 1933, is incredibly charming. The colorful dome in the lobby and the vintage carved details everywhere exude an air of elegance. It boasts a prime location in the city center, with convenient subway access to all parts of the city and numerous shopping districts nearby. In the mornings, we enjoyed watching the city come alive, and in the evenings, we'd lean on the balcony, admiring the night view. It was so peaceful and relaxing, washing away all the fatigue from our travels – truly the most healing sanctuary for our May Day trip to Shanghai. The breakfast was varied and delicious, and there were more foreign guests than Chinese, making it feel like we were abroad.

QQianlifujiHad a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, with easy access to transportation. While the room facilities aren't the newest, the bedding was comfortable, making for a very relaxing stay. The front desk staff were quite friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Overall, the hotel's environment and cleanliness are far superior to express hotels in the same price range. Highly recommend.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is truly excellent, right next to the Grand World and super close to the subway station. You can even see the Lujiazui 'Three-piece Suit' from the window! I love the historical decor style. The room is spacious, clean, and tidy, and the amenities work well. There's also a self-service water dispenser in the hallway, which is very convenient. All in all, I'm very satisfied!

PPianpianxihuanniyaThis was my first time staying at the Star River Hotel. The event organizer held a conference here, and the overall style reminded me of Macau, with a strong Victorian feel and a luxurious ambiance. You can tell the hotel has been around for some years, but the facilities are very well-maintained. The entrance/exit to the underground parking is too narrow, which isn't very friendly for large luxury cars (D-segment vehicles). The breakfast was quite rich and good, too.

GGuest UserThis hotel is located in the heart of Lujiazui, within walking distance to the Oriental Pearl Tower and major shopping malls. Subway access is also incredibly convenient, and there are many attractions nearby, making sightseeing effortless. Overall, the stay was excellent. The staff were friendly and always handled requests promptly. Special mention goes to Sheldon, the Front Office Manager, who was incredibly professional, articulate, and courteous. Sunny Li and Coco from housekeeping even remembered our casually mentioned preferences, making us feel like valued friends rather than just a room number. From the front desk to housekeeping and the lounge, every single employee greeted us with a genuine smile. This heartfelt friendliness is truly the hotel's most precious asset.

GGuest UserI’m so glad I chose the Mehood Elegant Hotel. It was the perfect location — close to everything, not too crowded, yet not too remote either. I traveled solo with my 14-month-old toddler, and he was absolutely spoiled by all the hotel staff. Everyone treated us with so much kindness and care. Jerry checked us in and out and even gave me a cute fridge magnet. The breakfast was delicious with so many options to choose from, the rooms were cleaned daily, and bottled water was always replenished. Xiao Jun also took great care of us, and Yinhe Juan felt like an auntie to us. We looked forward to seeing them every morning at breakfast. They all made my stay feel so warm and welcoming — truly like a home away from home. I’m incredibly grateful for their hospitality, and if I ever find myself back in Shanghai again, I’ll definitely be booking Mehood. PS: the view from my room was incredible!
