"The property is perfect in terms of quality but accessibility it not convenient as you need to walk up several sets of stairs to enter the complex. Not ideal if you have heavy, cumbersome luggage. Having the facility to wash your clothes on site if a massive bonus and made it very convenient. Especially during my stay when it was hot, humid and severely raining. Overall I couldn’t not fault the location. Central to everything you want to see and do in Guangzhou. I highly recommend it if you on a budget or you don’t like busy crowds or you want to have a feel for local cuisine and lifestyle."

"Guangzhou Hotel”广州宾馆” was a comfortable and convenient place to stay during our visit. One of its biggest strengths is its excellent location, with the famous Beijing Road Pedestrian Street just a short walk away. This made it easy to explore the area, enjoy local dining options, and experience the city's lively atmosphere. The hotel was well maintained, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Check-in was smooth, and the overall environment felt welcoming. A unique feature of the hotel is the large boutique located in the lobby, which offers a variety of fashion for men & women! Overall, Guangzhou Hotel provides a pleasant stay with a combination of comfort, convenience, and a prime location in the heart of the city."

"This was my second stay, and this time the room type I was given was much better than the last. The room facilities are well-maintained, and the living room TV has even been updated. My only minor complaint is that I was on the 27th floor, which felt a bit low. A big thanks to the front desk lady for her excellent service; she helped me with a late check-out and even provided welcome fruits and drinks. It was a little disappointing that there was no soup available this time, I'm not sure if they've discontinued it. The executive lounge is great for a light meal to cover dinner, and the food quality there is quite good, as is the service from the lounge staff – highly recommend! Just a heads-up for future guests: there are separate elevators for high and low floors, so make sure to take the high-floor elevator to get to the lounge. I'd definitely consider staying here again if the opportunity arises."

It set the tone for what would become one of my most memorable hotel stays ever. Service: The Heart of J Residence If I could bottle the warmth of this staff and take it with me, I would. Blum and Shelly were absolute standouts — genuinely kind, attentive, and made us feel like honored guests rather than just another reservation. But honestly? Every single staff member we encountered was a gem. They were patient, friendly, accommodating, and incredibly responsive to our needs. Oh, and they speak English, which made communication seamless and stress-free. In a city where language barriers can sometimes be tricky, this was a huge relief and added so much comfort to our stay. The Room: Spotless, Spacious & Stocked The suite was immaculate — and I mean spotless from corner to corner. It had every amenity you could possibly need, plus extras you didn't even know you wanted. The views from both the bedrooms and the living room areas? Breathtaking. ❤️ Waking up to that scenery and unwinding with it in the evening was pure magic. It was the kind of space where you immediately kick off your shoes, sink into the couch, and think, ”Yeah, I could live here.” Breakfast: A Feast with a View The buffet breakfast was next-level. An incredible spread of food and drink options that went far beyond the standard hotel fare. Whether you're a savory breakfast person or have a sweet tooth, there's something (or ten somethings) for you. And yes — the views from the breakfast area were just as stunning as the ones from our room. Eating pancakes while gazing out at Guangzhou? Chef's kiss. The Vibe: Clean, Chic & Convenient Everything — and I mean everything — was spotless. The property radiates a sense of care and attention to detail that you don't find just anywhere. Bonus perks: There's a movie theater, KTV, and a cool cocktail bar right downstairs on the first floor. Just step outside, go next door to the left, and you're there — it's that close! Perfect for a fun night in without going far. Location: Prime Real Estate for Exploring You couldn't ask for a better spot. K11, tons of shops, diverse food options, the metro, and buzzing bars are all within easy reach. Whether you're in the mood for high-end shopping, local street eats, or a night out, it's all at your fingertips. Easy access to everything you'd ever need or want. The Verdict I love, love, LOVE this hotel. It has officially earned its place in my top 3 favorites in all of Guangzhou — and that's saying something. "This E-shang hotel truly has my heart! I'm thoroughly impressed with every aspect. The front desk service was warm, attentive, and made me feel right at home. With Guangzhou's scorching heat right now, the staff immediately and thoughtfully offered me a refreshing glass of iced lemon water as soon as I walked in, seeing how sweaty I was. I was really touched and incredibly satisfied with E-shang's service! Secondly, the room's cleanliness was impeccable; every visible area was spotless. The room also features a smart 'Xiao Du' assistant for one-touch control of the AC and lights, which was super convenient. There's a self-service laundry room on the first floor, making it easy to wash and dry clothes. And if you're in a hurry to go out, you can even ask the staff to wash and dry them for you and have them delivered back to your room – now that's truly thoughtful! Oh, and the location is fantastic too; it's close to all the major attractions, making dining, entertainment, and shopping incredibly convenient. All in all, I'll definitely be back!"

The cloud-top view is absolutely stunning, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows looking directly onto the Pearl River. The room amenities are complete, with a kitchen and washer/dryer, making it feel just like home. Special thanks to Betsy at the front desk for her patient and meticulous check-in process, and to our butler Sia Melody for her prompt and thoughtful responses throughout our stay. Service: The front desk staff were efficient, so I didn't have to wait long, and they were very patient. Location: It's very close to my company, which was super convenient for my business trip and meeting clients. There are also many great restaurants nearby. Facilities: The room came with a desk and soft lighting, perfect for working or meetings. The internet was fast and stable, and the soundproofing was excellent, so my rest wasn't disturbed. "The room was spacious and clean, and the location was super convenient for getting around. There were tons of local eateries right outside, and the subway station was close by. We could walk to Xihua Road in about 15 minutes and Beijing Road in 20 minutes. Plus, there were many well-established shops downstairs."

"The hotel is very clean and smells great. It's close to Beijing Road and offers excellent value for money. Breakfast is included, and the rooms have smart toilets and TVs. The only downsides are that the bed is a bit soft and the elevators can be a bit slow during peak hours."
