"Pros: - Decently sized, standard layout and comfortable rooms. - Rooms are quite clean, service in general was nothing too special but gets the job done! - Convenient location near buses and metro to Central London / Oxford for a day trip, close to Westfield London which has great number of F&B outlets, supermarkets and shops. Cons: - Housekeeping was inconsistent; stayed for 6 days, everyday was missing something different, not being replenished in the room; could be tea, coffee, hand towels, tissue paper, toilet paper etc… had to keep calling for service every night throughout the stay. If housekeeping had set up the room in standard, hassle could be alleviated from all parties as it takes the housekeeping more than 20 minutes every time to bring the items. - Both toilet paper rolls were removed unexpectedly one night, even when we certainly left the room with them both in the morning which I find a bit funny as there wasn’t even a need to replenish - but simply removed. - Clock timing was incorrect 6 days throughout the stay and nobody clocked that nor changed it. - Slight wear and tear in the room but nothing too major affecting our stay apart from the bathtub glass panel seam being broken and water kept coming out of the shower. - Emergency alarms went off at 730AM with no explanation. - There was daily construction noise and one day the workers and equipments were all outside our room for a good 4 hours in the morning to afternoon time. Again, I don’t blame it because maintenance is important but a notice would be nice. Overall, I think the hotel gets its job done, the room and location were decent and comfortable. It’s the housekeeping and maintenance fell below expectations."

"I'm a returning guest, and this is pretty much my go-to hotel whenever I'm in London. It's really budget-friendly, perfect for those traveling on a shoestring. If you're tired from exploring, you can easily spend a whole day relaxing here without feeling like you're wasting money. Plus, you can cook your own meals, which saves a bit of cash and means you can enjoy food that suits your own taste."

"There is an elevator in the apartment, but there is a small step at the door. If you bring more luggage, you still have a little difficulty. We arrived at the hotel at ten in the morning and were very enthusiastic to help us with our luggage storage and put it directly in our room. There is a microwave refrigerator in the room and the function of cooking is very good, you can eat hot food anytime, anywhere. It is not far from the subway station, and there are M&S and various fast food restaurants nearby. This location is also very convenient to go anywhere. The underground signal is not very good, it is best to ask about wifi in advance, otherwise there may be no signal in the room. And the deposit cannot be paid in cash."

"The location is very good, 10 minutes walk from Paddington Station and 10 minutes walk from Hyde Park. The hygiene is not good, there are three or four hairs on the bedsheets, which must not be changed. The glass door of the shower room has a problem with the design. When it is opened, it will hit the toilet and the door, which is a great safety hazard. Although it says that there is a kitchenette and a stove, there is only a microwave. The front desk doesn't feel very friendly. When I checked in, the Indian front desk took my passport and fiddled with the computer for a long time. I asked him if I had any questions before he started processing it. Another Chinese-looking front desk seemed very cold and only greeted foreigners when he came in and out."

"I arrived at London Heathrow on a late flight. From there, I took the Heathrow Express directly to Paddington Station, followed by about a 15-minute walk to the hotel (or just a single Tube stop). The hotel boasts a very central location with excellent transport links. The Edgware Road station for the Bakerloo line is directly opposite, and just a two-minute walk further provides access to the Circle and District lines. The lobby decor was of a good 4-star standard, but the rooms felt more like a 3-star, and the shower cubicle was particularly cramped. During my 6-day stay, I didn't encounter any Chinese-speaking staff, but a very kind curly-haired lady at the front desk assigned me a room with a fantastic view, offering magnificent panoramas of the London skyline. The daily breakfast was extensive and offered a wide variety of choices. Overall, it's a safe, convenient, and recommendable hotel."

"Stayed at Ark for one night when watching a concert at Wembley. The location was amazing, a 5 minute walk to the stadium and all the food outlets. Didn't really get a chance to use the kitchen facilities, but having a fridge was great for having cold drinks and tea/coffee was provided. Check in was easy, bed was comfy and after the concert we were back in the room within 10 minutes. Highly recommend."

"If you are looking to be close to Tower Bridge, this hotel is amazing. But its far from 80% of other attractions. We stayed here over new year and it was unnecessarily expensive. Staff were very nice and offered free breakfast as part of our stay. The room was small but neat and clean. NOT ALL ROOMS OFFER A BRIDGE VIEW. Check before booking. Don’t rock up angry because you didn’t double check."

"Was great and they let me Check in a little Early which was so Amazing!! Well, they gave me their number when I arrived and said to text in an hour and if it was ready I could Come back and it was! 💃🏾 and the kitchen is always so helpful! And literally next to hackney central. Don’t forget to walk to the black metal bar about a half mile north 👏🏾⚒️"

"The environment is excellent, the transportation is convenient, and the staff is warm and thoughtful. The room is a bit simple and small. But it is OK, but you can wash clothes. Many destinations can be reached by foot around, which is also a cost-effective choice."
