11360195****The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of Gulangyu Island. It's tucked away in a quiet spot but still close to Longtou Road, where all the restaurants are, and attractions like Sunlight Rock and Shuzhuang Garden. We stayed in Building 9, which was very peaceful. It hardly felt like the bustling National Day holiday, but as soon as we stepped out of the hotel, we were met with throngs of people – truly two different worlds! The hotel has a private back exit for guests that leads to a quiet beach with very few people. The kids absolutely loved it, braving the heat and strong sun for over two hours, catching several small crabs. The hotel used to be a government retreat and is now open to the public. While the facilities and decor are a bit dated, you can tell the original fixtures are still of good quality. The room even came with tea ceremony tools, and the kids had a blast playing tea master – the Dahongpao tea was delicious. The hotel service is outstanding. They offer exclusive shuttle transfers from the ferry terminal to the hotel when you arrive and depart. If you're heading straight to the ferry after sightseeing, you can arrange a time with the hotel, and they'll deliver your luggage to the terminal, allowing you to enjoy your day worry-free. The staff are also incredibly helpful; knowing the kids wanted to play on the beach, they even brought sand-digging tools. When we encountered a staff member on the road and asked for directions to the beach, he simply walked us all the way there. We genuinely loved this hotel and highly recommend it.

WWan SuwanThe apartment location is in good environment, going around with taxi is fair enough, however, the building itself doesn't exist on the map, only the neighbor one does, which made us difficult to find the right building when we first arrived, plus we have no idea that the check in room, is one of the room on the 5th floor, as in the address of the hotel, it just put room 501, 521 Gaolin Road, etc. I recommend to give more details to ease the check-in of the hotel description like, 'when arrive, please contact room 501 on the 5th floor to check in', also, the hotel should pin the exact building location on the map, otherwise, guests may get lost on first arrive like us, whereas people around don't speak English to help too. The apartment itself is clean and in good condition with good space & layout. Facilities are good enough, except, the kitchen is kind of waste because there is no kitchenette at all, they only provide bottle water, glasses/paper cup & electric kettle in the kitchen, in which we expect a hotel apartment should have at least some kitchenette like tableware, cutlery, pot or pan (as they have electric stove) and at least a microwave oven & dishwashing liquid, which partly why we choose to stay in the apartment rather than normal hotel. This is one of the upset issues that we have for this stay. The breakfast comes as McDonald's breakfast coupon consists of one small Berger & a drink, which is fine as McDonald is on the street level of the building itself. Plus thing is that we can request for more bottle water & the disposable towel with no additional cost. Although the disposable towel is not so good to use as towel, they are still acceptable & hygienic, so, if you want more comfort, I suggest, bring your own towel. The washer works well, no dryer, but they provide hanger with drying space where there are windows open. The nearest large shopping center, Wanda Plaza, is nearby, taxi costs only ~CNY10, where you can find lots of restaurants & Walmart, etc. In overall, this property is good & worth of money.

GGuest UserThe room is super, super, super spacious, a one-bedroom apartment with two large beds. I used the bathtub directly; it was very clean and well-stocked with toiletries. The bed was comfortable and the shower gel smelled great! The best part is it comes with its own garden, a cafe courtyard, and a pool. It felt just like being on vacation in Puerto Rico! The location is on a hillside, a quiet oasis in the bustling city center. Perfect for a holiday retreat~ I'll definitely be back this year!

The rooms are clean, tidy, spacious, and comfortable, with modern amenities. A huge bonus is the lake view from the window – it's really therapeutic to just sit by the window and relax on a nice day. The interior also features many decorations and small ornaments that incorporate Xiamen's local culture, giving you a taste of the local atmosphere even during a short stay. The front desk service is warm and attentive, and they even offer free late-night snacks, which is a thoughtful touch. The hotel also includes an airport shuttle service, so you don't have to worry about rushing to your flight; the hotel car gets you to the airport in less than 5 minutes, saving you both hassle and time. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my experience and will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Xiamen!👍

Its convenient transportation links make it ideal for both business trips and leisure stays. There's a fantastic array of dining options and shopping centers nearby, including Baolong Mall, perfect for everyday needs and retail therapy. Plus, it's only 1.8 kilometers from the starting line of the Xiamen Marathon, which is a huge plus for event participants. The overall ambiance is elegant and comfortable, with a strong sense of design, and the common areas are simple yet grand.

AAnonymous UserThe room was decent, and the hotel is conveniently located near the seaside and the ferry terminal. It's right next to Zhonghua City, and just a 5-minute walk to Zhongshan Road, though I wouldn't recommend Zhongshan Road as the environment isn't great. The Botanical Garden, Huli Mountain Fortress, Xiamen University, Baicheng Beach, the Coastal Road, and the 'Sea View of Kinmen' tour from Heping Wharf are all worth visiting. Definitely avoid the offshore cruises recommended by people on the street – they're usually from sketchy companies. Breakfast offered a good variety, but the soy milk and fried dough sticks were a bit cold, and I couldn't get used to the duck blood in the oyster vermicelli soup.

Transportation is also extremely convenient, with easy access to public transport and easy access for those driving. The hotel service was also excellent; the staff were warm, friendly, professional, and attentive, making the trip even more enjoyable. The room facilities were also quite good. Highly recommended for those seeking convenient accommodations, excellent transportation, and quality service!

GGuest UserHotel is located in strategic location. It is very close to department store, walking street and metro station line 1. Hotel offers adequate breakfast and hot food. The room is comfy with big bathroom. The only downside of this hotel is no sound proof. I heard every noises from street horn, upstair, downstair and the worst of this trip was... my room is next to fire exit and house keeping room in the 3rd floor. This was so so annoying and was interrupt with my sleep every night!!!

GGuest UserThe hotel staff were incredibly friendly and polite. The location is fantastic, right outside Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, so it's perfect for an evening stroll after dinner. It's also very close to Xiamen University and Baicheng Beach, and getting to Gulangyu Island is super convenient. The robot delivery service for takeout to the room was a great perk and very convenient. Overall, a really good stay!
