Mary, our housekeeper, provided excellent service. She communicated with us in advance about the room details and our requirements. Knowing we were a couple, she even offered complimentary welcome fruits and drinks, and upgraded our room for free. The stay was fantastic! The room was very clean and comfortable, making us want to return. Sam, the restaurant manager, also offered great service. All the food was fresh, and breakfast was abundant.

My recent stay at the Kulangsi Resort in Xiamen was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this was a special place dedicated to providing a tranquil and luxurious getaway. Wonderful Environment: The resort is beautifully situated, offering a perfect blend of lush, manicured gardens and serene landscapes. It feels like a hidden oasis away from the city's hustle and bustle, yet it remains conveniently located. The views are stunning, and the overall atmosphere is one of peace and relaxation. It's an ideal spot for both couples and families looking to unwind. Excellent Hotel Facilities: The facilities are top-notch. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and featured a modern design with all the amenities one could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. Beyond the room, the swimming pool was a delight, and the fitness center was well-equipped. Every corner of the resort is maintained to a very high standard. Standout Service from 小陈 (Xiao Chen): While every staff member we encountered was professional and friendly, one individual truly made our stay unforgettable: a gentleman named 小陈 (Xiao Chen). His service was, without exaggeration, world-class. He was incredibly thoughtful and anticipatory, always seeming to know what we needed before we even asked. From offering insightful local tips to ensuring every small detail of our room was perfect, his attention to care was remarkable. He embodies the true spirit of hospitality and is a tremendous asset to the Kulangsi Resort. Verdict: I wholeheartedly recommend the Kulangsi Resort. The beautiful environment and excellent facilities provide the perfect backdrop, but it's the outstanding service from people like Xiao Chen that transforms a great stay into a truly memorable one. The room was clean, the receptionist was friendly, there was a laundry room, the room was well soundproofed, and the breakfast was plentiful.

The front desk lady was very enthusiastic and even upgraded our room for free. The surrounding area is convenient, and the facilities are in good condition. The self-service laundry room was very convenient, and there were many people using it in the evening. The gym was also good.

I absolutely loved my stay at Yunhai Yuxi Hotel Apartment! The room was spotless, so clean and beautifully maintained. It felt incredibly cozy, with a calm, home-like atmosphere that made it hard to leave. The view from the apartment was stunning day or night, it’s something you’ll always remember. What really made the experience special was the owner and the staff at the reception, so gentle, kind, and genuinely hospitable. From the warm welcome to the small thoughtful gestures throughout our stay, it felt less like checking into a hotel and more like being cared for by friends. And honestly, for the quality, comfort, and experience, the price is far below the value you get here. It’s a hidden gem that deserves more recognition. Highly recommended I’ll definitely stay again! 🌸

Overall, I'm extremely satisfied! I stayed here for 3 days during my trip to Xiamen, and they upgraded us to a sea-view room. The hotel isn't located on the island, so transportation isn't the most convenient. However, compared to hotels of similar quality on the island, the price is very advantageous, making the transportation costs worthwhile. The hotel staff are incredibly friendly and warm. Whenever we encountered housekeeping staff in the hallway, they always greeted us proactively. On our departure day, when they learned we were checking out and heading home, they even asked if we needed two bottles of mineral water for the road. On a daily basis, when taking a taxi, staff at the hotel entrance would always help open and close the car doors, and their attitude was excellent. On Mid-Autumn Festival, we returned to our room to find a mooncake, which was a very thoughtful touch! When they found out I wanted to take a bath, they brought me a disposable bathtub liner, and also provided disposable toilet seat covers. In short, it felt like a home away from home – a truly wonderful stay.

The rooms were nice and staff pleasant, but for an international hotel I expected some signs in English. I wanted to use the gym and pool and was told it opened at 9am on 5th floor, but when I went to 5th floor after 9am nothing was opened and there was nobody about to ask. In addition, the other guests were really loud late at night and early in morning. There was also lots of noise coming from street late at night which cited be heard in my room.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and dining. The room was clean, odor-free, and spacious, with soft, comfortable bedding. The bathroom had great water pressure. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient with check-in and check-out, and they were quick to respond to any requests. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and my top choice for travel. Highly recommended! Plus, Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street is right downstairs.

The hotel is very close to the scenic area and commercial district, so you can walk to explore and dine, saving you the hassle of taking taxis. The room has good natural light, is spotlessly clean, and the soundproofing is decent, making it very comfortable to rest after a day of sightseeing. The front desk staff also provided thoughtful tips for exploring, which was really helpful. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

Given the late hour and festive season, we were concerned that nearby restaurants might already be closed. To our pleasant surprise, several small eateries within 50 meters of the hotel were still open, allowing us to enjoy a proper late dinner. It was a reassuring start to our stay. The hotel’s environment is comfortable and welcoming. The lobby features a bright, clean design with warm wood tones and soft lighting that create a calm, relaxing atmosphere. A tasteful display area and cozy seating space add a subtle blend of business functionality and artistic charm. The front desk staff were professional and courteous, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient despite the late hour. We stayed in the Premier Themed Room (Japanese Style with Sakura), which was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Upon entering, we were greeted by a beautifully designed Japanese-inspired interior. Warm lighting, wooden flooring, and delicate sakura (cherry blossom) wall art created a serene and elegant ambiance. Wooden partition panels and subtle decorative details added refinement, giving the space an artistic yet tranquil feel — almost like a small ryokan-style retreat in the heart of Xiamen. The room was thoughtfully designed, spacious, and impeccably clean. A charming feature was the private balcony, which allowed fresh air in. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, dressed in crisp white linens. The mattress offered excellent support, and the pillows were soft yet supportive, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. All essential toiletries were generously provided, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, dental kits, slippers, and towels. Everything was neatly arranged and well-maintained, reflecting attention to guest comfort. The complimentary breakfast was another pleasant surprise. It offered a good variety of well-prepared options, making it a satisfying way to start each day. The location is highly convenient, close to the Xiamen International Convention & Exhibition Center, with California Plaza Shopping Mall next door offering numerous dining choices. Whether for business or leisure, the hotel is an excellent option. Most importantly, the nightly rate was very reasonable and offered excellent value, especially considering the themed décor, balcony, full amenities, and included breakfast.
