"24-hour free shuttle service to/from Haikou Meilan International Airport and Meilan Station twice: Arrived in the early morning, and the pick-up service was incredibly convenient. Truly excellent service. The hotel is also very comfortable, and it offers great value for money near the airport. Even the standard room beds are large, which is a definite plus."

"Overall, the room was comfortable and spacious. **Hygiene**: Upon entering, it felt very clean and tidy, which made me feel comfortable and at ease. There was no noticeable damp or musty smell. **Environment**: A standard five-star hotel with marble finishes and four well-arranged elevators. **Service**: 1. The front desk staff showed no obvious change in expression; I didn't feel welcomed, nor did they proactively introduce hotel facilities. Guests need to ask and inquire themselves. 2. The concierge staff were warm and friendly. They were quick to handle luggage and offer various forms of assistance, which was heartwarming. **Dining**: The buffet breakfast was quite average. The only delicious item was the Hainan specialty pastry. The saving grace was the beautiful view from the 33rd floor. **Children's Facilities**: Virtually non-existent. The children's area on the 5th floor was dimly lit, and the so-called parent-child activities lacked effective organization and planning. The only positive was that it was clean and tidy. **Location**: Excellent. It's very close to both Wanlu Lake and MixC (shopping mall). The surrounding area is lined with coconut trees, making it very pleasant. **Summary**: If you're traveling for business and just need a comfortable night's sleep, the hotel's hygiene, environment, hardware facilities, and location are all good. However, from a family travel perspective, it's quite average, and the hotel needs to put more effort into its planning."

"Not bad. The overall feeling is very good. I booked two rooms and the environment is good. It was a very pleasant trip to Hainan. I will come here again next time I go to Hainan. It is a really good hotel. Not far from Qilou Old Street and Wuyue Plaza."

"The hotel is in a great location, right next to a shopping mall, making it super convenient for shopping and dining. We stayed in a sea-view room which offered expansive views and was absolutely beautiful. There's a seaside promenade right outside the hotel, and the room itself was clean and tidy. The hotel staff were very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Breakfast was diverse and plentiful. I would definitely choose to stay here again next time."

"Due to a project, I needed to find a place to stay near Meilan Airport at the end of 2025, away from the city center. I stumbled upon Jing Huayu and ended up staying there multiple times, totaling 12 nights, which left me with warm and cherished memories. The location is a convenient 10-minute drive from the airport high-speed rail station, and their shuttle service is efficient and well-organized. The guest rooms are clean, and the amenities are reliable. The front desk and service staff are warm and thoughtful; every time I checked in, it felt like 'coming home.' There are plenty of dining options nearby, and with residential buildings, a school, and a community center, it's a lively yet peaceful little haven next to the airport, blending modern and classic vibes. A particularly warm highlight of my memories is the cleaning staff, an 'ajie' (auntie) who was enthusiastic, professional, and full of life. She even shared some exquisite homemade pastries with me, giving me a glimpse into the laid-back life of the hospitable people of Hainan! Thank you for your care; I hope we have the chance to meet again."

"Hotel has 6 floors with 1 lift. Average size room. Big windows, Queen bed with 2 pillows, 2 bedside tables. 1 round table with chair. Std amenities with paper cups. Laundry has 1 washer and 1 dryer. Separate bath/toilet, bath, face towels. Floor towel mat. Small area but OK. Water flow out and wet toilet area although separated. No rain shower. Big slippers. Adequate hangers and hooks. Power sockets not well placed. Good location opposite People's Park. Buses to everywhere including railway station and airport. Plenty of food stalls, restaurants, convenience stores, shopping malls nearby. Very popular hotel. Breakfast simple but good."

"You can park at the door, which is very nice. It's worth recommending. I mainly want to praise the staff. Xiao Xiao at the front desk has very good service. He is super nice and has a really good attitude. When he saw that there were children staying, he thoughtfully gave them toothbrushes, toothpaste and children's slippers. The room was tidy and clean, and it was very comfortable to stay. The next day I went to the Meilang Sisters Tower to play. Very good too."

"I spontaneously decided to come to Hainan for a relaxing Qingming holiday, soaking up the sun. The sun was really intense, with daily temperatures consistently above 37 degrees Celsius, and occasionally even hitting 40 degrees. However, coming from a famously hot region, I'm used to high temperatures and found it quite bearable. Plus, with the sea breeze, it was actually quite comfortable! This was my second visit to Haikou. After checking out many hotels online, I finally settled on The Westin. I'd read some reviews saying the hotel's location wasn't great, with limited dining and shopping nearby. Personally, I think the location is actually quite good. It's right by the coast, offering beautiful views of both the river and the sea, as well as the bridge. There are a few decent restaurants near the hotel by Century Bridge, and it's also very close to the Cloudscape Library, just a few hundred meters' walk away. The best part is the scenic walk along the coast, especially beautiful at sunset! One of the hotel's highlights is the executive lounge on the 20th floor, which offers truly stunning views. There's also an outdoor terrace just outside the lounge. Sitting out there with a few drinks and snacks, enjoying the view at sunset, is incredibly relaxing and atmospheric! The executive lounge is generally very good, open from 11 AM to 11 PM. During the day, there are usually soft drinks and a small selection of fruits and biscuits, but from 5 PM to 8 PM during happy hour, they serve light meals. I found The Westin's happy hour to be excellent, with a wide variety of hot dishes, including both Chinese and Western options. The selection of drinks was also extensive, and the food was exquisite, with different offerings each night. This was much better than what I've experienced at other five-star hotels – dinner here was more than sufficient! The hotel's breakfast buffet also deserves high praise. Breakfast is served from 6:30 AM to 11 AM, which is perfect for late sleepers, giving them plenty of time to eat! The breakfast spread was incredibly rich and diverse, with all types of dishes, both Chinese and Western, each with its own character. I highly recommend the rice noodles and wontons – they were outstanding! There was definitely an abundance of fruit and drinks. As it was a holiday, there were many diners during breakfast, but the restaurant never felt chaotic. Tables and cutlery were promptly cleared, and food was refilled quickly – absolutely commendable! This time, I chose the Executive Suite. Unfortunately, I didn't get an upgrade this time. The room itself was great. Although it was a corner unit, the designer made excellent use of the space, creating a very sensible layout. Most importantly, as someone from the south, I appreciate being able to open windows for ventilation, which is much better than staying in high-floor rooms that can't be opened. I heard the best room type is the River and Ocean Suite, with even better views, and I hope to experience it next time! The hotel's bedding was good, toiletries were average, and the customer service was excellent – all my requests were met quickly. The towels were also great, new and soft! A major perk of the executive room is the late check-out until around 4 PM, plus complimentary ironing of two garments daily. I think these benefits are incredibly guest-friendly! The hotel's concierge service was outstanding. Every time we returned to the hotel by car, they would proactively open the door and greet us. A special thanks to Mr. Justin Bao, who provided us with excellent, efficient, and professional service. He not only gave us an overview of the hotel but also advised us on how to get better deals for future bookings – truly grateful to him! I hope to see him again on my next trip to Hainan! I was also delighted that the hotel gifted us a souvenir when we checked out – I absolutely loved it! I will definitely choose to stay at The Westin again on my next visit to Haikou. It's a shame this trip was so short; I look forward to spending a longer holiday here next time, just enjoying the hotel! I hope the hotel continues to improve! Oh, and the hotel is also very close to Qilou Old Street, just about a 10 yuan taxi ride, which is super convenient!"

"Absolutely amazing! The place is spotless and there's no weird smell in the room at all. They even have a hot air sterilizer, which is a nice touch. There's a mini-fridge too. The window offers great ventilation and the air conditioning was perfectly set. I just fell in love with this place! Plus, there's a Luckin Coffee just a short walk away. The breakfast was incredibly delicious. This hotel is a godsend for its price point!"

"Location: 3 walking minutes from the sea, fantastic view from the balcony. No big roads, very quite. Not many supermarkets, restaurants or shops in the neighbourhood, but there is the essential. Apartment: very good, looking to the north so not hit by the sun, wonderful covered balcony, even with the typhoon one could sit there. Clean, good beds, functioning and quite air conditioning, kitchen with basic utilities. Building: it is a mix of residential building and hotel. One can see that in the past it must have been a wonderful 5 stars hotel, now needs some renovations. As usual English is a problem but the ladies at the reception are ready and well equipped to communicate using translation apps. Service: I wanted high floor and booked 10th floor, they gave me 13th (thank you!) Right and left there were stairs, so no neighbours, also very quite (also because of the massive walls). Some neighbour in the hallway sometimes left the door open so I could hear his TV, but it didn't bothered me. Conclusion: considering the price, it was a great stay."
