Nagoya Hotels with Breakfast

We were upgraded on our recent trip to Batam. i Hotel has two locations.. at Nagoya Hill (where we stayed) and Baloi. The Nagoya property is conveniently located just next to Nagoya Hill Shopping Centre. There's a side gate, which is locked and accessible by room key card, to and from the Shopping Centre. This makes it very accessible and provide extra security other than walking along the street. Access to the hotel via vehicle will be inspected at the main gate before the security personnel opens the gate. Hotel is clean and staff are courteous. Since we were there for only 2-nights we didn't need room cleaning. In the early afternoon of the second day I received a message that my room has the No Disturb light on and just wanted to confirmed if we need room makeup. Such thoughtful service! The breakfast buffet carries a wide spread. I would suggest taking up on their breakfast before heading out for the day. They have 2 coffee machines that makes about 15 different beverages. Just a caution that they lean towards to sweeter side. At the buffet there's also an egg counter that will make your eggs be it omelette, over easy or soft boiled. Going for meals and shopping malls are convenient. Besides Nagoya Hill which you can easily walk to, other malls like the the Grand Batam Mall and food courts like A2 and Nagoya Food Court are easily accessible by Grab. Cost is around IDR21,600.00. From Batam Ferry Terminal to the hotel cost about IDR37,000.00.

We arrived at 1pm & even though check in was at 3pm the front desk kindly allowed us an early check in which was much appreciated. All the staff were generally friendly & helpful. Location is good, lots of food and minimarts in the immediate area. Can also walk to Nagoya mall, about 10 to 15 mins away. We stayed in a smoking room suite. Room was spacious & clean with a simple decor. King size bed with bathrobes & slippers provided. Water pressure was good. Aircon & fridge was cold. The door lock didn't work so we just used the chain. Which was fine as the key cards only brought you up to yr specific floor so we weren't too worried. The restaurant for breakfast was nice & bright with a good variety of food. Quite fast to clear the plates. There was just a bit of a wait for seating but understand why as it was a weekend & i think it was a full house.

First time to Batam, hotel location is next to the mall which you may get what you need from mall and shops nearby. The hotel breakfast had variations choice and good. Overall the experience staying in this hotel was great. There is a swimming pool at Level 2 and and massage center inside hotel with reasonable price. If you are coming over follow those youtuber and online recommendations, you are a bit remote and need to go by car. This place may be good for business traveller but for backpacker or light traveller, you may choose to stay near the attractions where you can reach within walking distance.

Clean, with great service and very helpful staff. For this price point, finding a hotel like this is fantastic. If I come to Batam again, I'll definitely stay here. Five-star review!

The hotel is very clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is small and dirty when we were there. Kids walking around at the breakfast area and jumping in and out from the pool to breakfast area. No proper towels provided for the pool. My room is clean but face a block of construction wall which looks really eerie at night. I think they are in the midst of extension their hotel. Blackout twice but power came back fast. Despite the small imperfect, it is still a very comfortable hotel which I will go back to in Batam.

Good location with many food options nearby. Walking distance to Nagoya Hill Mall. Breakfast is superb, delicious local tastes. The room is clean but lacks amenities, especially hand towels and hairdryers.

Amenities: Toiletries were provided, but I brought my own shampoo. The lack of a hairdryer was a bit inconvenient. Cleanliness: The room, including the bathroom, was very clean. Staff cleaned the room daily. Environment: The room was filled with a scent, which I personally didn't care for. The room faced the street and was extremely noisy. On the first night, I had a splitting headache and had to buy painkillers from across the street just to get some sleep. Light sleepers might find this quite challenging. Service: The staff were very pleasant, polite, and efficient.

I spent 2 nights at this hotel and the location couldn’t be better. Right in the heart of everything, so major points there. But the bathroom… that’s where things fell apart. The showerhead holder was broken, which made every shower an awkward juggling act. And the “frosted” glass? It doesn’t actually blur anything out. If you’re showering, anyone on the bed has a front-row seat. Seriously, why even install a glass panel if it offers zero privacy? The towels didn’t help either — yellowed and oddly dark, they didn’t exactly scream “fresh and clean.” Aside from those misses, the room itself was decent enough, and the staff were a genuine highlight. Kind, helpful, always with a smile. Great location, lovely people… just maybe pack your own towel and shower with the lights off.

Great experience in this hotel, although slide uncomfortable experience with the arrangement of the rooms, as I requested 4 non-smoking room but got smoking rooms instead. However, front desk was able to squeeze in 1 nonsmoking room for us, which was still bearable. One of our family members had her birthday on the 2nd day of the stay, so the staff was able to light decorate the room, and have a special arrangement for breakfast. Great experience for us!
