Taipei Hotels with Rooftop Pools

"This is one of the most beautiful and iconic hotel in the world. We enjoyed the live piano and violin music every night. The lady piano player accompanied by the male violinist were exceptional! We had to add an extra bed in our room because there were 3 of us. Our room was big and spacious with mountain views. We felt very special to be able to stay here and enjoy this beautiful grand hotel. We had dinner one night at Yuan Yuan restaurant. The food and service were excellent. We will certainly come and stay again when we are in Taipei."

"The room was very spacious. Across the street is Laolai Doujiang, which is open 24 hours. It's also very close to the MRT station, making transportation super convenient. Miramar Mall is right next door, so shopping is easy too."

"Hotel's location is near Shilin's market, just less than 10min walk. The Shilin's MRT station is just outside Hotel. It is very convenient. Hotel's doubled bed room is comfortable for solo traveler. The shower room is almost as big as the bed room. Very well maintained & clean. 4 bottled of 500ml mineral water were supplied daily with tea bags and soft drinks. However, the air-con was not powerful enough for hot days. Even though the Hotel is facing the MRT station, it was very quiet. Breakfast was very simple, porridge, bread, noodle/fried rice with 3 dishes, desert, simple salads, orange juice/soya and coffee."

"booked a standard King Bed in end March room was large, enough electricity power sockets shower water pressure and toilet worked well pool is small.. about 15M but adequate didn't have time to try the restaurant location is about 10min to the subway, lots of small restaurants around, 711 is in the lobby However the room furniture is aging. the bath tub height was high and need to slowly climb in to take a shower, can easily slip and not recommended for elderly people. need to call housekeeping to add more toilet paper and request they wash or change the used tea cups liquid soap and shampoos bottle pump is hard to press worse is the TV system does not work. when watching TV channels... after 2 min it returns to the main page. also there is a message that a phone wants to connect to the TV... I assume from another adjacent room. inforned front desk, but it seems they are not able to fix it Overall, won't come back and will try other hotels"

"I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Okura! I was surprised to get a room upgrade, which made the experience even more special. The service was top-notch. Every staff member was attentive, warm, and professional. The location couldn’t be better, with easy access to the MRT, shopping malls, and a really lovely neighborhood to explore. On top of that, the hotel itself is so luxurious. Highly recommended. I’ll be staying here again when I go back to Taipei."

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, right above Jiantan MRT station, and just over 350 meters from Shilin Night Market, making transportation and dining incredibly convenient. It's also not far from the Grand Hotel Taipei, Taipei Fine Arts Museum, and the National Revolutionary Martyrs' Shrine. The hotel itself is well-equipped, featuring electric curtains, an automatic bidet toilet, refrigerator, washing machine, microwave, and a coffee machine. Breakfast is a mix of à la carte and buffet; the à la carte menu offers 5 main course options, while the small buffet includes various breads, vegetables, fruits, and milk, all of which are quite palatable. However, the front desk staff's service attitude was just average, not as good as what I experienced at the Victoria Hotel. Because of its proximity to the MRT station, rooms facing the mountain (and thus the MRT line) can hear the train noise as the MRT runs above ground in this section. I also highly recommend a ********* restaurant nearby called 'Goose Meat Chuan,' which has a 4.6-star rating on Dazhong Dianping and is only 300 meters from the hotel. Their goose breast, crab roe tofu pot, and taro vermicelli are absolutely delicious! Highly recommended! [Strong]"

"Excellent stay! The hotel is in a great location, just steps from Longshan MRT station, so getting around Taipei was very easy. There are lots of local food options nearby, including street food and bubble tea, which we really enjoyed. Having both 7-Eleven and FamilyMart right below the hotel was super convenient. Ohhh they serve Starbucks on 5th floor too. Housekeeping was reliable and kept everything spotless. The highlight, though, was one of the male reception staff. Too bad I don’t remember his name. He’s incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. He truly made our stay better and deserves a raise & recognition. I will definitely stay at Caesar Metro hotel if I visit Taipei again."

"not too satisfied with the hotel charge at this price. no washing machine, if you want to wash, it is charged by piece... and saw 2 insects in the room 😨 television not supporting bluetooth connection ( saw them installing new television when checking out so im not sure if now got new function ). oh check out time is at 12, if you want to extend, to 1230 is free but to 1pm it will be NT1000. the location is not bad, 5mins walk to train station, downstairs got small familymart."

"My friend recommended staying at Regent Taipei, and I finally had the chance to experience it this time. It was an excellent experience, exceeding my expectations! The lobby is incredibly grand, and the staff were very friendly. The room felt very safe and comfortable, with ample space and complete amenities. Plus, I could even see Taipei 101 from my room. I hope to stay here again next time."
