There's a bus stop right outside the main entrance, and if you turn left and walk less than 500 meters, you'll hit Southern Song Imperial Street and Hefang Street, which are packed with creative cultural shops and trendy photo spots. The hotel itself has a gorgeous retro decor, very old-money style and super tasteful. Plus, coffee, milk tea, and chrysanthemum tea are all complimentary and free-flowing. They also have an underground parking garage, which is a huge plus if you're driving."

"My boyfriend and I finally got to stay at the Hangzhou West Lake Yagu Quanshanzhuang, a place we've had on our wishlist for ages, and it certainly didn't disappoint! * **Garden strolls:** We held hands and wandered around the gardens, watching the leisurely white geese on the island in the middle of the lake. Time just seemed to slow down. * **Lawn afternoon tea:** We enjoyed a lovely spring afternoon tea under a canopy right next to the spacious lawn. Every photo we took turned out amazing. * **Balcony relaxation:** We sat on the balcony, sipping tea, chatting, and just soaking up the sun. All our worries just melted away. It's also super convenient for exploring the surroundings! You can walk to Guishan and Yuhuwang, both beautiful spots with fewer crowds, perfect for a romantic stroll. If you're into city walks, this place is absolutely ideal."

"I stayed here recently and honestly? I loved it. First of all, it’s super easy to find and just about a 10-minute ride from Hangzhou West Railway Station if you take DiDi. If you’re arriving by train like I was, it’s pretty convenient. As soon as I entered, the whole place smelled so clean and fresh. It gave off that “you can finally relax now” vibe. Very inviting. I was also pleasantly surprised that it’s foreigner-friendly—just had to register, no deposit needed. Smooth check-in, no hassle. Now let’s talk about the room. I picked the one with a bathtub and city view—slightly pricier than the standard ones but 100% worth it. The room was spotless, the view was chef’s kiss, and I honestly felt like royalty the entire time. Everything was so comfy. Even the toiletries, which I usually don’t even notice, were complete, fresh, and came in their own little wraps and bottles. It’s the little things. What I also appreciated? The room looked exactly like what was shown online. No catfishing here. What you see is what you get. Oh, and shoutout to their doorman machine—it made it super easy to get my food deliveries without having to come down every time I got hungry. That alone made my life so much easier. All in all, it was a comfortable, relaxing stay. I’d definitely book here again."

"Hangzhou City North Wenlan exceeded all my expectations! The lobby's Van Gogh theme and the 'Mr. OK' plushie give it such an artistic touch. The room was so clean I could comfortably walk barefoot, and the bedding was so comfortable I slept soundly all night. It's really close to Xiaohe Straight Street, so I could explore old Hangzhou during the day and return to the hotel for some comforting, thoughtful service in the evening. Hearing 'OK, no problem' from the staff was so reassuring. This is a treasure of a hotel that I would definitely visit again!"

"The location is excellent, right next to Raffles City and very close to MixC! There's a parking lot downstairs, and check-in was smooth. Regarding the environment: Although the hotel is on the 32nd floor, there are multiple elevators, so the waiting time is very short – a big plus! The room environment is quite good, spacious, and even has a 'pool-sized' large bathtub! Now, let's focus on the downsides: First, the bathroom floor is super slippery and has no non-slip mat! Forget about when shampoo is involved during a shower; I almost slipped just walking in! This absolutely needs attention! I suggest adding non-slip mats or non-slip slippers. Second, the computer lags a lot when playing games, and the picture quality is a mess. The on-duty staff didn't understand computers and couldn't provide any help. As an e-sports hotel, shouldn't the staff at least know a little about computers? Third, the service doesn't match the price. Don't most people play games on the computer at night in an e-sports hotel? This e-sports hotel is quite interesting; they didn't mention the check-out time when I checked in. Then, at 9 AM on a Sunday morning, they sent a WeChat message saying check-out was at 12:00 PM, otherwise, an extra fee would be charged... Do guests staying at an e-sports hotel on a Sunday morning wake up at 9 AM? Then, at 12:00 PM, someone knocked on the door... It was both impolite and unnecessary. If you're going to charge for overtime, why not just deduct it from the deposit? I was literally woken up. A good hotel needs good management. I hope the owner improves their service. It's really bad!"

"Nestled within the YuHuang Mountain scenic area of West Lake, the hotel boasts serene and elegant natural surroundings with tranquil and pleasant forest views. The guest rooms are well-equipped and tidy, meticulously maintained, clean, and modern, ensuring a comfortable and worry-free stay. Housekeeping is thorough and spotless, handled with great attention to detail. There's a private, dedicated restaurant offering a rich and palatable menu for main meals, making dining convenient and pleasant. A practical laundry room is available, adding to the comfort and convenience of daily living. The service is gentle and attentive, making for an overall comfortable and delightful stay."

"Walkable distance to Westlake (a v nice walk). Very clean rooms with a cute AI audio assistant (to speak to in Chinese to change songs etc.) and fantastic service from the staff - we spoke via WeChat and they responded immediately (whether we needed to clean our rooms, or them notifying us that our delivery food has arrived and they’ve placed it at our doors). They have been so hospitable and it made the stay so nice!  A very nice place to stay in if you want somewhere tranquil and nice to stay that’s not amidst the hustle / crowds at westlake. I saw the other hotels I contemplated booking previously and found them too near high tourist traffic. Very happy with our decision to book here :) will defo book here again if we come back to Hangzhou (even our DIDI driver mentioned that this place looks v nice hehe).  Also there’s a cafe downstairs :) with v nice view and just good vibes. "Traveling with my family during the Chinese New Year holiday, we decided to stop by Hangzhou and booked Atour in advance. The hotel is surrounded by a mall, so there are plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. There's a parking lot with ample spaces. However, there's only one elevator from the lobby to the rooms, so there can be a bit of a wait. The room itself was nice and spacious, and the bedding was very comfortable. The shower had great water pressure. It was quite hot outside, and the central air conditioning only blew warm air, which was a bit unbearable. The staff kindly brought us a portable air cooler to use. I didn't try the breakfast, so I can't comment on that. It's also not far to get to West Lake by taxi. Overall, a good hotel."

"I have been to Hangzhou many times. I have been to popular attractions such as West Lake and Lingyin Temple before. This time I explored Jiuxi Shibajian, which is worthy of being the natural oxygen bar of Hangzhou's ”Wizard of Oz”. Now in this season, Hangzhou is a summer resort. This homestay I chose this time is also a surprise. The location is very good. It takes 5-10 minutes to walk directly to Jiuxi Yanshu, and stroll along the stream to Longjing Village. There are towering ancient trees and cool streams all the way. It is especially suitable for taking children to play in the water and explore the mysteries. It only takes 15 minutes to take a taxi to West Lake, and it is very convenient to go directly to Bus No. 87. The rooms in the B&B are healing, super clean, and very new. From the tatami windowsill, you can enjoy the tea mountain and bamboo forest opposite. The B&B staff are considerate and will help recommend tour routes. The weather was very good when we came. We drank in the yard at night and could see the beautiful starry sky. We climbed the tea mountain in the morning and felt refreshed. It is a 3-5 minute walk from the B&B. I heard from the store that this is a very famous hiking route. Due to limited time this time, we only walked a short distance. Let's explore it next time."

"I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this bnb! The location is perfect, just a short distance from the Hangzhou Botanical Garden, making it a peaceful and scenic spot. The room was impeccably clean, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was. As someone who is very sensitive to noise, I slept like a log every single night! The host, the owner lady, was incredibly warm, friendly, and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. When I caught a cold during my trip, she not only went out to buy medicine for me but also gave me extra supplies to help me recover. Her kindness and thoughtfulness were truly heartwarming. She upgraded my room without me asking! Despite the language barrier (I don’t speak Mandarin), she made every effort to communicate and ensure I had everything I needed. Her hospitality made my stay in Hangzhou truly delightful and memorable. The convenience of having a bus right outside the complex was also a huge plus, making it easy to explore the city. I cannot recommend this place enough! If you’re looking for a clean, quiet, and welcoming place to stay in Hangzhou, this is it.
